Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Feat 2king & queen bed! Conveniently on the 4900 block of New Orleans' famous Tchoupitoulas Street in the heart of the amazing uptown corridor! Near all the parade routes, 2 blocks from Rouses, Win-Dixie, and across the street from Golden File Nail Salon! All the street parking around here is free and abundant! This home was beautifully restored but still feats many historic features of a Historic New Orleans Shotgun - Each room is connected!

Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

Beds are very clean, kitchen is very nice. Leave the door between first bedroom and kitchen open during the day or it will not be comfy to be in, as the bedrooms have great airflow and the first room does not. If you have more than a couple people, or small children, you will need to bring your own plates and bowls, as there are only two bowls, four dinner plates, two small salad plates, all ceramic. Everything is as advertised and communication was easy. This place is perfect if you don't expect to hang around the house all day and mostly need somewhere to just eat and sleep, shower. Very nice and comfy bedding and towels. Dishwasher and washer/dryer make staying with kids much easier. Great water pressure. Property manager is very responsive and quick to help with any issues. Like most places in the city, parking is hit or miss depending on time of day. Lots of traffic runs in front of the house, so if those sounds or the sounds of a train bother you, this may not be a great option. It did not bother us, and was barely noticeable with bedroom doors closed and ac on. Close enough to everything, and not much walking traffic. Overall, it was a great stay and everything was advertised accurately.

The overall stay was good. The location is great and I love the house. The biggest issues were there was no soap for the dishwasher, one garbage bag for the trash in the kitchen, not enough towels or dishes for my whole party, and 2 of the 3 lamps for the bedrooms didn't work. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this location and would stay again.

The property was as described and provided us sleeping arrangements we needed. It is an older home and the walls are thin, but it was all within the description so what we expected. The host was quick to respond and kind.

The owner made sure we had a great experience from check in to check out. It is a busy street, but a good location. Very close go the Quarter. Would definitely stay again!

The house was perfect for what we needed. We had a week long conference at the Convention Center, about a 7 minute Uber ride. The owners answered questions ASAP and were very helpful. Nice big beds, comfortable, very clean and safe

The stay was wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is adding a few dishes. We had 4 people but 2 bowls for cereal in the morning. It didnt bother me because i used the solo cups and i was fine with that. Overall would recommend to someone and would stay again.

Communication is key!

The biggest compliment I can give the property management is their availability. Their willingness to be accommodating and assessable is truly amazing. I have stayed at several vrbo's and this was a first - so kudos to them. The place was clean and equipped with all essentials. Thanks Genesis hopefully I will be in New Orleans again soon

Great communication but issues with check-in

Our host provided excellent communication leading up to check-in and we appreciated being allowed to drop our bags off before check-in. However, when we returned to the property at 4:30pm (after going to the market and purchasing groceries), it was frustrating that the code we were provided didn't work and the host was unresponsive. VRBO support was barely helpful but after 45 minutes (with refrigerated items in the hot NOLA sun), we were finally able to get in. The property was very clean and decorated nicely, and had very comfy beds and great bedding, which was very much appreciated.

Excellent communication

This New Orleans home was perfect for our quick trip to the city. The home was as described and met our needs. The communication from the property manager was incredible. I often received a response within the hour!
