River Shoals Cabin is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home located on 6 acres on the Chattahoochee River (370ft water frontage).

River Shoals is the perfect place to spend your next vacation! Just a short drive to all the surrounding towns this location is everything!

The home has 2 bedrooms upstairs: a king bed in the master with an attached bath. The second bedroom has a king bed with an attached half bathroom that shares with main living room and kitchen.

The downstairs has a great hangout area with a pool table, gas fireplace and hangout area!

The downstairs bedroom configuration of a queen bedroom with a shared jack-n-jill bathroom that is shared with the 4th bedroom that has a twin over full bunkbed.

Down by the river you will find a swing to sit and listen to the water flowing over the shoals and a fire pit for those crisp evenings. HOT TUB THAT SEATS 6!!!

We arrived on Friday afternoon for a stay until Sunday morning and did not have any hot water until Saturday afternoon. That was kinda a drag, however the cabin was very nice.

This was a great weekend getaway cabin. The host Kyle was fantastic. The cabin had hot tub, river access outdoor activities. The North GA wineries are also close. I highly recommend this property. We look forward to going back.

Overall, a great place to stay. We had a girl's weekend getaway, and the location couldn't be beat for access to Yonah Mountain Vineyard. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed our weekend here.

The cabin is gorgeous and so is the view to the river! The interior was very clean and had everything we needed for the stay. The exterior was very nice, just in need of a slight sprucing up. The grills were quite dirty, but the gas stove inside was more than enough for our needs. The only complaint we really have is the water pressure. Even with only two people in the cabin, the pressure would sometimes go down to a trickle. It was very difficult to have to use two things at once because of that. But that wouldn’t prevent use from coming back! We loved all the amenities and found this vacation to be extremely relaxing and fun.

Holiday vacay

The cabin was beautiful, the communication with the host was sub-par. The river bank is over grown and hard to enjoy. The location is hard to beat and the up stairs beds slept very comfortable, i never found the playground it says is there. The cabin was well equipped for cooking and living with a varity of cooking utensils.

Family get away

The house is beautiful. The water pressure is awful. If you are running water in a sink or shower and someone else flush a toilet the pressure goes down to a trickle. The living room ceiling has some what looks like mold and a thick layer of dust above the ceiling fan. The outside windows and gutters need a good cleaning. Some steps going down to the river need replacing and vegetation around those steps need clearing.

Graduation celebration

To celebrate our daughter’s graduation our family enjoyed a long weekend in the mountains. The house was clean and comfortable and met all our needs. We loved hanging out down by the river and playing pool into the night. It was a perfect get away!

Family weekend away

We really enjoyed our long weekend at River Shoals Cabin! It felt very private, but was only a short fifteen minute drive to Helen. We enjoyed listening to the river from the deck. The downstairs area was perfect for our teenage girls. The cabin was very well stocked and super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Christmas get away

Property was great. Ran out of Propane while there and had no hot water. The owner was notified and had propane delivered within the hour! Was great location and home was beautiful

Beautiful

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was great, your in the middle of the woods, on the river, but still close to grocery stores, and towns like Helen. There was plenty of parking for the family. Everything was clean and comfortable. Lots of room on the porch that over looks the Chattahoochee River. My crew wants to go back.

A Wonderful Experience

My daughter and I visited the cabin during Spring Break. I promised to take her anywhere she wanted for her break from college, and she wanted to stay on the Chattahoochee River. This cabin ticked every box for her idea. Not only is the cabin right on the river, but it is also incredibly comfortable, clean, well-maintained, and classically decorated for a rustic home. The home is close to the Yonah Winery and minutes from necessities such as superstores and markets, offering all the comforts of home. We had a restful and delightful experience. Kyle was responsive and helpful before and during our stay. We will be revisiting and bringing our extended family. This is the spot if you want an outdoor experience in a beautiful setting!

Beautiful home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Everything was so cozy and homey. We cooked during our stay and had everything we needed to make our meals, even an air fryer. The house was very clean and the host was very responsive to us. The only problem we encountered was the gas ran out of the propane tank while we were cooking our steaks! There was another tank nearby and it was empty too, so that’s why my husband was caught off guard. He had to run to Dollar General to exchange it in the middle of cooking. We really enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub and my husband and son enjoyed playing pool. It’s a short ride to Helen and we hiked and explored around there. We would definitely stay here again!
