La Luna is perfect for those who want to experience true wilderness. The cabin is very well stocked with everything needed for some quiet in the woods. I loved the art work and amenities Lori provides. Wifi is strongest in the parking area, but the reason to come here is to disconnect. It's a great place to stay and access Sandpoint or to go for a day hike.

This cabin was so cute and cozy, great way to connect to nature. We had such a relaxing stay. And Lori has a beautiful soul and a great host.. Would highly recommend this rental.

Remote connection to nature

This place was beautiful and our host was very friendly and helpful and we honestly did not want to leave the little cabin was perfect

Amazing

Lori is a great host! So much peace and solitude surrounding the property. My son and I definitely enjoyed “escaping” for our two night stay here.

A lovely getaway in the woods!

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely cabin. Though we got there near dark in the winter, we had a lovely time playing scrabble by lantern light with the sounds of the firewood creating a nice ambience. What a great experience!

What an amazing get away. Perfect place to get away and breathe the mountain air, then cozy in next to the fireplace. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. We look forward to going back for another visit, and meeting the host, Lori.

Absolutely Enchanting!

This little cabin was absolutely charming, enchanting, and whimsical! We fell head over heels for La Luna! What a special little cabin, tucked into the trees, nestled over with a blanket of snow, it really could not have been more magical! The cabin was spotless, and stocked with what we needed. We will be repeat visitors!

Very quiet cabin in the forest

Adorable little cabin tucked up in the forest. Very quiet in terms of people or traffic but the amazing sounds of nature were all around. We got lucky enough to stay during part of a storm and it was so rad. The rain and thunder through the mountains is such a cool sound. Then once the storm based the birds sang to us. When it was night we still had a nice gentle sound of the stream nearby. The cabin is a real log cabin and is awesome. Showering in the back with the trees as your view is also awesome. The water gets hot right away and stays hot so we never got cold. There’s a really nice cooking area in the back that’s completely stocked with anything you need to cook with. We didn’t get a chance to use any of it this trip. We did use the fire pit which was nice in the evening. I definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to just get away and stay in nature. Everything was very enjoyable and the drive up is also just as beautiful. Thanks for creating and sharing this beautiful place. Hope to stay here again in the future.

I like simplicity. The house is located about 30 minutes from the main hwy and on a road with limited access. At night, you could hear the birds and had a clear view of the stars from the patio. I brought my starlink which gave me access to work if i needed but I could easily isolate and turn off any electrical devices without difficulty. The owner built a small art gallery however I did not know if it was accessible and I didnt want to roam to much into someone else's property. It looks like they are trying to duplicate the vibe in other areas of the property however none will be as great as this one. I showed up late but had everything ready for me when i arrived. The host is very accommodating. It is perfect for two which the ad specifies. If you travel in winter, dress warm, have extra newspaper for the fire, and know you have to walk outside to use the restroom. This was perfect for me
