Outstanding 3BR Central Arkansas Lakeside Retreat near Little Rock and Conway

*** PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE BOOKING: Lake Conway has been drawn down. We are unsure at this time how long the lake will take to drain and then how long it will be without water. The AGFC will be working on a new dam/spillway among other things while the lake remains near dry or EMPTY. This property is a very nice place to stay and gather and even without our typical waterfront views, the house itself is a hidden gem within a short drive to plenty of other fishing holes and lakes surrounding our area. We hope you enjoy your time here, as there are endless things to do in and around the area ***

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene lakeside home with awesome views away from the big city. Located in a small-town neighborhood on the water between Little Rock and Conway you'll never run out of things to do, from fishing, exploring near-by hiking trails, dining out in the city or staying in and taking advantage of our huge, well supplied kitchen for family feasts or just yourself. You can also take a nice walk or drive down to the dam which is about 3/4 mile from the house.
(There is a Ring security camera doorbell at the entrance to the property)

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting! This property has large, spacious rooms and is pet friendly. The owner was friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely return when our family is here to visit!

Everything was clean and well stocked with every day items. The privacy was amazing being a little hidden off the "main" road. Very pet friendly - part of the yard is fenced off for your furry friends so you have no worries there. When the lake is up and running again - it would be the perfect place to stay for a vacay! The size of the living room/dining room/kitchen space is what sold us from the beginning. Thank you, Mary! Easy directions and easy to work with.

Great location for family vacation

The house was very clean and the AC was able to keep up with the incredible heat and humidity we had during our stay. My sister recently relocated to the Conway, AR area and this provided a great place for our large family to stay while in the area visiting her. We mainly used it as a place to sleep and do some laundry. I would love to come back and see the place once the lake is refilled. Bet the views are amazing.

This home is very spacious, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. We had all of the amenities one would expect in a home, and we enjoyed sitting on the back patio that looked out over the lake.

Beautiful Home away from Home

Beautiful serene home. We came in town for a graduation and a family reunion and the house and location were perfect. You can sit out on the covered patio and enjoy the weather while looking at the lake. Even though the lake was mostly drained it was very quiet and beautiful.

A great space with lots of privacy!

This house was everything and more for my family over the holidays! We had two young kids (both mobile but under 2) and the large living room was *perfect* for them to play all week. The bedrooms are a great size and beds are very comfortable. You can’t imagine how big the kitchen is! (And it was so well stocked - you won’t randomly run out of forks or anything like that!) The location was nice in that you’re not right on top of other neighbors - so quiet and peaceful! A nice little fenced area for our small dog and kiddos to play as well! We had some plumbing and weather-related issues, but the host was quick to respond and did not make us feel any additional stress over the situations which was great! I would say if anything goes awry - don’t hesitate to reach out to the host - they are kind and worked with us quickly! We hope to return again - we all said throughout the week we would gladly stay at this property every time we’re back in Arkansas. :)

The house was great. Plenty of space to spread out. Also super clean! The fenced yard was perfect for our dog to be able to run and play.

THIS IS NOT WHAT THE PICTURES SHOW!! The lake has been drained…. No water until at least 2028!!! Mosquitoes everywhere!!! Can’t even hang outside!!! Plumbing in master bathroom horrible!!!

Perfect for a last minute stay

I live in mayflower but my house flooded and my family needed somewhere to stay on a very short notice. Mary was so accommodating and even assisted me in booking a few additional days since my house was ready in the original time frame. The house was very well stocked and it was nice not having to worry about a barely stovked kitchen and linens.

Nice property

The view of the lake was beautiful. Lots of space in the house and the kitchen is enormous. I didn’t notice on the listing that the main bathroom only has a tub and no shower. It worked out ok but I will pay more attention going forward! Air conditioning worked great in spite of 100+ outdoor temps.

Wedding Weekend

Some friends and I stayed here while all gathered for a wedding. The space was very nice and large enough to accommodate our whole group being able to hang out. The beds were comfy and the setting on the lake was very nice.

We have always loved the water and fishing so finding this property just seemed to fit into our goals for the future and we love to come and enjoy this lakeside retreat whenever we can get away. Just relaxing on the back patio or in the enclosed sunroom is so peaceful. We are happy to share our lake house with you and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Even without the usual water views this property is amazing and there are plenty of other fishing places around the area if that is what you love to do.

We fell in love with this place from the first moment we stepped on the property and then inside the house. It just feels like home. We hope you take some time while you are here to do a little fishing, hiking, sight seeing, or just take a walk down to the dam. It really is a wonderful, calming feeling to sit and watch the wildlife right out on the back patio.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

For those who like to fish, throw a line right out back or the dam is less than a mile down the road. If you prefer to do nothing and just relax then this is the quiet, calming place you've been waiting for. This space is the perfect retreat for the solo traveler or the whole family! There is also a wonderful fenced in area off the sunroom and back patio for small children or animals to play and stay safe while enjoying the lake views outside. If you do decide to bring your dog, while we are pet friendly, we would ask that you please not leave them unattended while on the property, and keep them kenneled when inside the sunroom or house alone. This will prevent any damage from occurring.
