Knotty Pine is a fully furnished quaint cabin located within walking distance of Stanley Lake in Iron River Michigan. This 3 bedroom cabin sleeps 6 and is small dog friendly, it offers an open concept kitchen and living room, perfect for quality family time! Knotty Pine is located within Lac O' Season's resort which offers 600 feet of sandy shore line, great for the prefect summer swim. There is also a public boat landing just down the road. The resort offers 2 boat slips that are available on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Just minutes from Ski Brule, it is also the perfect winter getaway in the Northwoods.

Great week up north!

Our family has been coming to Lake Stanley for many years and always have a blast enjoying the north woods. The cottage was cozy and fit our family of four perfectly!

Clean and cozy cabin

This place was very nice. Beds were comfy, place was very clean, no problems with the wifi and close to ski brule. Thanks for letting us stay. We had a great time!

Wonderful stay

Stayed for three nights to ski. Clean, comfortable, and cozy and convenient to the hill. Beautiful, snowy surroundings to wdd as ok our dogs in. Love Knotty Pine!

We came up for Memorial weekend. We were very comfortable and loved the cleanliness of the cabin. Wish we would have brought a boat to use the lake. It was a beautiful weather weekend!

Cozy North Woods Get-a-way

The cottage was exactly what our family wanted. It is right near a beautiful lake and located near many other rentals that our extended family rented. It's an amazing place to spend the week!

Perfect Stay Start to Finish

The cabin was beautiful and inviting. I really liked that the place was lit warmly with a cozy replica wood stove that was crackling away just as you walk through the front door. Great view from the deck of the lake. The beds were super comfy as well. Very enjoyable stay indeed.

Perfect little place

Loved it

We loved our stay at Knotty Pine. It was the perfect size for our family. We love the location and the beach. My kids wanted fires and smores every night and we enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning.

Weekend Stay

Cabin was super clean and the host was very responsive. We ended up not going on Stanley Lake but my kids loved fishing at Ottawa Lake nearby. Short drive to Iron River too.

Cozy cabin

Knotty Pine is the coziest place nestled in a group of cabins near Lake Stanley. Nancy is super nice and accomodating. She changed our stay dates with no hassle. The cabin is clean, beds are comfy, surroundings are beautiful. Another great stay!

Escape to Tranquility: A Perfect Stay at Knotty Pine!

Family time

Great Cabin, with a nice deck. Property was nice with fire pit. Everything was perfect, the cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and hostess left out per bowls when we said we were bringing a pet, which was a nice touch. We completely enjoyed our stay and would rent the same cabin again.

Perfect Ski Cabin

Knotty Pine is the perfect ski cabin for our family. It’s big enough for our family of 4, yet small and cozy on cold winter nights. Very close to Ski Brule and Iron River. Snow was cleared, porch light was on, and the heat was also turned on when we arrived!

Cleanest place we've ever stayed. Appreciated the charcoal and firewood. The only disappointment was not realizing that there are no resort amenities available except the docks and small beach area. The cabin and property are both very nice.

Peaceful

Spent spring break here with our kids - 9 and 12 - and dog. Cabin was perfect - our kids didnt want to leave. Nice main room to eat and play games or lounge on the couches, then each had own room for down time. Easy drive to town for meals and just minutes from Ski Brule - we caught the last weekend. Great views of Stanley lake from the house. We would come back here every season of the year, it would be great to enjoy the lake too when its warm.
