Beautiful Property

Overall, the property was a decent fit for my family. Not worth the over 6,000.00 I paid for the week. In a decrepit neighborhood! The pool was the shining star of the whole place. The property is in need of some TLC. There are several areas in different rooms that had leaks constantly dripping which we had to keep applying paper towels to, These leaks seem to have been going on for some time as there is damage to the floor tiles.We were getting dripped on continuously in several different places. We bought several rolls of paper towels because of these leaks. Definitely not going back to this property.

Nice and big house the pool was excellent.

Nice place to stay with a lot of private space. Great views of the town and the water confortable furniture to sit outside and look the sunset.

Perfect Stay in Paradise

This home was the perfect place for our week stay in Vieques! It was beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking our own meals. The location was convenient. Dennis was very helpful throughout, and Melyssa was available to answer questions during our stay. We are looking forward to returning.

Amazing House

My family had an amazing vacation in Vieques! Villa Altamira was absolutely beautiful and even better than the photos. The house was very clean and well stocked with plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, kitchen supplies etc. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens and bathrobes in every room. The outdoor space was absolutely incredible and the perfect private oasis to relax. The pool and view was beyond expectations. The sunsets and views by the pool or outdoor fire pit can't be beat. It's an absolutely stunning and private space to relax and the views will take your breath away! The owners, Annette and Dennis were very responsive, accommodating and helpful during the booking process and Melyssa, the caretaker was extremely helpful throughout our stay. She had great recommendations for activities, restaurants and even was able to get us ferry tickets when we were unable to purchase them. This is an absolute gem of a property and we would love to return. Thank you for an amazing family vacation!

Great Stay!!!

The house was perfect for our needs (6 adults and one toddler). Terrific view, great pool, walkable to Isabel, great indoor and outdoor space. Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time ,,,the house was very comfortable for my family the view is breathtaking,, it was very quite peaceful neighborhood my only wish I could have stayed longer I would definitely recommend this house in the future

School vacation get away

We stayed at the property with friends and family. This is a rare case where the house was actually better than advertised. The views are outstanding. We have been to Vieques 6 times and we this property is a stand out. Would definitely come back.

Great experience

The entire family thoroughly enjoined our stay at this property on Vieques. Great views, close to town, close to ferry, support was fantastic while there. Looking forward to a return trip. Highly recommend.

Villa Altamira Vieques

Mine was a three and a half week stay and my fifth at Villa Altamira. Melyssa and Hector are the caretakers and they are wonderful, helpful, friendly. The house, the pool, the view and the Isabel community and town are superb not to mention friendly people, cats, horses, chickens and dogs. Great restaurants and beaches nearby. Vieques is my favorite vacation spot. Thank you !

Villa Altamira

Lovely location overlooking the town of Isabel Segunda. Recently updated in bright colors which we felt really captured the mood of the Island. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen was appointed well enough we could cook. This was our 6th trip to Vieques and plan to return again.

We loved Villa Altimara! Our family of 5 had a great time on the island and got exactly what we went there for. We wanted to unplug, unwind and relax... We did just that. Thanks for a offering such a wonderful place for rent!

Amazing view! Beautiful home and awesome pool!!

Great house! Everything you’ll need and so much more. Great rooms, beds, pool and style. And the top floor master suite? Amazing!! Property manager Melyssa was fantastic and always available. And the friendly and curious neighborhood roosters, chickens, cats and wild horses make your stay here truly special and, well, we just loved it!!

Awesome Christmas

Spent the holidays at Villa Altamira and loved it! Beautiful views which we stared at from the covered porch, even sat through rain showers. The pool was amazing and someone was in everyday. The beds are hard but that doesn’t even warrant one less star because everything else was great!

Excellent place and location!

We were a group of 10 and this property was perfect for our group. The view was spectacular! The living spaces were also very conducive for a large group. There was plenty of space outside on a nice covered patio for hanging out with a table and chairs enough for all 10 of us. The pool area was also an amazing feature! All beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful House

Perfect for a family who wants to go snorkeling/ sunbathing during the day and then comeback in the afternoon and spend time at the pool. The house have everything you need. If something is missing you just call and the housekeeper fix it in a moment!! We loved this house💛

All that one needs to relax and enjoy a vacation!

Great property and house with all the amenities a family could need. House had wifi, beach toys, pool toys, snorkel, cooler, umbrella, beach chairs, PLENTY of beach towels, BBQ grill outside and more. Great stay and would highly recommend though would not consider it walkable to downtown Isabel. Property is up on hill and drivers are a bit crazy. ;)

This house is awesome

I can't say enough about the house and all the help Dennis was to us. Dennis was very helpful with providing info and was timely with all texts. We had 2 families at the house and it was perfect for us all. The pool was awesome and having a washer and dryer was great. We actually recommended the place to people we meet on the island, we will be back for sure.

Villa Altamira is exactly as described

Five of us had a great experience at Villa Altimira. The three en suite bedrooms on three different levels worked well for us. The views from the terrace overlooking the ocean between Vieques and Puerto Rico were incredible reminding me of a scene from a movie. The only caution is the parking, though off street can be difficult to manage. The house was clean and well equipped, everything you need is available at Altamira. It really was hard to leave, as the swimming pool really is perfect.

Excellent location and extremely private.

Location was great to walk to down and minutes from ferry. The pictures were deceiving. The place is great but needs some TLC and kitchen could be cleaner. Grill was missing a grease pan and grease was spilling on the deck and I did not find the washing machine. They should leave a manual for guest. If you want a no frills get away with privacy THIS IS THE PLACE.

We can't say enough good things about the house and the island. The house was very clean and accommodated our group of 10 with lots of elbow room! The property is beautiful with plants, trees, and flowers. It feels private. I loved getting up early to have coffee on the deck with the view of the water. Walking around town was a favorite as well as snorkeling at Mosquito pier. The beaches are amazing and so few people that you feel like you have the beach to yourself. We rented a 4wd Jeep so we could get to some remote beaches. It was hard to leave...

The most amazing vacation we have ever had!

This house is everything you can possibly want and more! We had a long travel day and arrived somewhat disheveled and tired, but the second we walked into the house, those feelings were GONE! What an amazing place. The view is out of this world, the pool is perfect and there is nothing missing from this house that you may need. We agree that a car is needed to be able to visit the beaches all around the island, and the Bio Bay tour is a must! The caretaker was incredible and always very prompt to respond when I had questions. All in all, I highly recommend this place, and I hope to be able to go back again soon! We love Vieques!!!!

MOST INCREDIBLE VACATION !!!!

Thank you John and Karen for sharing your amazing home!! We couldn't have had a better experience. The house and pool were beautiful and peaceful and had everything to make the perfect vacation. There were 4 adults and 7 children and plenty of space for all. The decor and the outdoors and landscaping was so inviting we almost didn't want to leave the house. We cooked most of meals and kitchen was well equipped. The beaches were so beautiful. My favorite was Navio for body surfing the waves. Snorkeling was a hit with the kids. Our girls can't stop talking about how great it was! We hope to return someday soon!!
