Vistas espectaculares del Caribe, la bahía bioluminiscente de Vieques y los Cayos de la Esperanza le dan la bienvenida al caminar a través de la entrada cerrada de esta finca tropical muy privado. Los hermosos jardines ofrecen un paraíso tranquilo con impresionantes vistas desde ambos niveles de esta gran villa de dos pisos.

El primer piso cuenta con una cocina moderna, sala de estar, comedor interior y exterior, y baño completo abierto a la piscina de 30 pies.
En el nivel superior hay una gran suite principal con una cama doble, baño en suite y puertas francesas que conducen a la terraza del jardín. La segunda habitación ofrece vistas espectaculares del Caribe, una cama de matrimonio y baño en suite. Wow!! Stunning Views! Amazing stay!

Villa Destino is just an amazing place to stay. It was perfect for my family of 5. I was absolutely floored by the views when I first walked in the gate. The pics do not do it justice. The owner, Mary Kay, made our stay super comfortable and was just a text away. Gina, the property manager, was always a available for questions. The property grounds were beautiful and the house was super clean upon arrival. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook and beach gear supplied (coolers, chairs, towels, snorkel gear). We made quite the memories here and looking forward to coming back!!

Great stay

This property is exactly as pictured and is stunning. Check in was seamless and they had everything ready for our arrival. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor seating spaces immensely. The bathrooms were modern and the beds were very comfortable. The location is good, located relatively close to Isabel II, but is up a very steep drive, so make sure to have a vehicle with 4WD (you need one on this island regardless). We had a lovely time, thank you!

Absolutely magical!

Amazing house with everything you need! Very private and within minutes to best beaches and activities. We absolutely loved the pool, swam laps every day after dinner. We had Chef Vicente to cook/cater our first dinner when we arrived, it was very timely and super yummy! We found the guide app that owners provided extremely helpful, used it a lot when exploring the island and booking bio bay and horse back riding. If you have kids who are into horses, this is the island to go to. There are more horses then people! We've traveled a lot but have not seen anything like this anywhere before, this island is really special. La Chiva beach was pretty awesome, as you can water walk to the little island right in front of it. Caracas was cool too -- there are trails (very interesting!) on both ends of it. Overall, great experience!

Trip was great! Beginning by the host in allowing us to change our dates due to weather. Providing a great guidebook as a tool to get around. Mary Kay always stayed in contact to ensure we had all we needed. Karen, property manager rec’d us upon arrival and guided us with a tour of the property. and continued to communicate throughout our stay. Bio tour is a must! property provided all the amenities we needed. We’ll be back!

My family and I fell in love with Villa Destino and Vieques! This was our first visit but certainly won’t be our last. Karen, the house manager, was wonderful. She got us settled in on check in day and communicated with us during our stay. Mary Kay was great to work with as well. The home and the location are perfect! The pool was our absolute favorite. It is paradise and the views are amazing. The Villa Destino app was super helpful for selecting and navigating to beaches, markets, restaurants, etc. Look no further. A perfect vacation at a perfect proprty

Words can't express how amazing our stay was on Vieques and at Villa Destino. Our entire stay was so relaxing. Everything that we could've needed (and didn't necessarily know we'd need) was available at the house. We didn't have to worry about anything, just enjoy every minute of our vacation. Vieques has so many beaches that we only made it to a few. The snorkeling was amazing (there's plenty of snorkel equipment available at the house that there was no need to rent!). A Bio Bay tour is a must! The house was so beautiful and comfortable. The pictures are no exaggeration, it's really that pretty. The pool was just amazing. My boys would spend hours at the beach, then come back to the house and splash around in the pool for just as long. The pool is a huge plus for families. It's just as nice as most hotel pools. The kitchen had everything we could need. We so appreciated having spices and condiments that are never available at most rentals. The bedrooms are set up so you can spread out and not be "together" all the time. The house is great for families or group of couples. Villa Destino is a top property, and we will definitely return. Thank you, Mary Kay and Karen, for a wonderful family vacation!

Villa Destino ~ Our week in paradise

We had a fantastic, most memorable island vacation at Villa Destino on the Isla of Vieques! Beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters and great snorkeling opportunities..To scrumptious breakfast bakeries, and fresh catch dinners.. The crown jewel was kayaking the surreal biobay! The only disappointment was we couldnt stay forever 😪 If we can make it back I will definitely book the Villa again. Five Stars!

We loved our stay at this property and in Vieques. Everything was clean and airy, and well accommodated. Karen is wonderful, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Everything was wonderful. One suggestion is to have a TV in the lower level. The size room is much more accommodating for a group to watch tv instead of only option upstairs. Air conditioner was not working well in large bedroom but we didn’t use that toom

Delightful Destino

The house is perfection and the pool is the cherry on top. There was no issue with electricity for the AC in the bedrooms at night (I actually got cold). Vieques is a top 3 place for me and I would stay at Villa Destino anytime. Good kitchen supplies and the grill worked great. You will not regret a stay here.

Absolute Perfection

Villa Destino was amazing! My family and I absolutely loved it there. Everything was thoughtfully done. The entrance was large and comfortable to pull in your car. When you enter through the gate of the house you are greeted with a spectacular view of the pool, island and ocean. The downstairs space is open, airy and has plenty of seating. Upstairs each bedroom is thoughtfully appointed. Each bathroom was spotless, and the toiletries provided were lovely. The owners of the home provided towels, beach towels, and everything you might need for the beach. They really thought of everything. We spent the days exploring the island but the house was so perfect, we ended up spending more time at the pool there than we anticipated. The pool, palm trees, and lounge chairs just made every moment such a delight. My tweens are normally hard to impress and they are already asking about going back. There is so much space, this is easily a home that would be perfect for 3 couples, or a larger family than us 4. The location is perfect. Everything is super close, and the street itself is quiet. The landscaping truly makes it feel like a tropical paradise. Overall, this home is spectacular - I can not recommend it enough. You will have a magical and memorable time there!

Villa Destino is one of the most spectacular properties where we have had the privilege to stay! The views from the house were just phenomenal, and the property had absolutely everything we needed for an amazing stay. Wonderful Time at Villa Destino

Villa Destino is a five star property!! We had a wonderful stay - the house has a pool that is the best we ever encountered on our seven trips to Vieques. The views from all outside areas are exceptional. We really appreciated how the main level opens up to the pool area, so getting a cold beer from the refrigerator is seamless. Ha!! It's a step climb up the road to the house, but a 4-wheel dive Bronco made it a fun experience. The parking area is flat, large and gated - so we always felt comfortable leaving our equipment in the car. The house comes equipped with everything you need for a beach/island vacation. The linens and soaps were first class, plenty of beach chairs, and the bedrooms are large and comfortable, with effective air conditioning. The kitchen is also modern and well-equipped. The owner and property manager communicated quickly and effectively. You can tell when you arrive and first walk around that the owners care deeply about the property. When planning a trip to Vieques, I highly recommend you rent this house - you will not be disappointed, but rather you will probably find that it exceeds your expectations.

Hillside view and pool!

we thoroughly enjoyed this home, it was perfect for our holiday trip with our family of 4 with plenty of room to spare. the open floor plan also seemed to include the pool area which had a nice flow for our week on the island. traveled to many beached daily and we were close enough to all of them from this home all was clean neat and orderly. the property has a full bathroom for each bedroom which was nice. we would rent here again for sure.

Fun in Vieques

We enjoyed our stay in Vieques. The villa was amazing, we loved the layout, beautiful view, and the pool. Mary Kay was helpful in setting everything up and Karen answered all our questions when we arrived. A jeep was recommended and definitely needed to reach the property and explore the island. Beaches were beautiful. We'd recommend the villa and Vieques.

Villa Destino Never Fails to Delight

We have been coming to Vieques for 25+ years. Villa Destino is, without question, the best property we've stayed in! The views are stunning. The house is beautiful and so well appointed. Location is the best -- easy access to all the best beaches and close to both Isabel II and Esperanza. Our kids have grown from pre-teens to adults and they still beg to come here with us. This mom couldn't give any higher praise than that. The hosts and the property manager are super nice and helpful. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Vieques Vacation

We loved staying at Villa Destino. It was the perfect house. There were six in our group (three couples) and we still had plenty of room to spread out. We cooked most of our meals in the well equipped kitchen and ate them outside looking out at the view. We also enjoyed the pool. When we decided to explore it was only a short distance to Isabella, Esperanza, and the beaches. And, if you had any questions, Karen has so responsive and willing to help. Were were at the house for 10 days. It was not enough. We have already booked for next year.

Perfect Stay

We had a great stay at this villa. Perfect location between Isabel II and Esperanza and near the best beaches in the wildlife refuge. The pool was always a perfect temp, AC's worked well, beds were comfy and amazing views everywhere. The check in process with Karen, the house manager, was seamless and easy. I would stay here again without question.

When we moved to Wisconsin in 1998, we started visiting the Caribbean to escape the cold winters and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the beaches. During our many visits, mainly to the US Virgin Islands, we started dreaming of owning a vacation home in the Caribbean. Then, in 2014, we visited Vieques for the first time, fell in love with the island, and knew the time was right to make our dream come true. We started looking at homes for sale during that very first trip, and purchased Villa Destino one year later in March 2015. Since that time, we have come to appreciate the many things that make Vieques such a special place. From the incredible bio-luminescent bay, to the spectacular beaches in the National Wildlife Refuge, to the wild horses that roam the island, Vieques is a true vacation destination. We want Villa Destino to be a special place on this special island... and we are off to a good start as Villa Destino has received the highest 5-Star "Exceptional" rating based on guest reviews. We will continue to do everything possible to make sure that these high standards are maintained.

Vieques is a beautiful unspoiled Caribbean island. The harder choice was which side of the island was better suited for the perfect vacation experience. Initially, we were tempted to buy a house in the Bravos de Boston neighborhood, where most of the vacation rentals are located. These properties are generally situated on the north side of the island (Atlantic Ocean side) close to the ferry and the main town of Isabel Segunda. While the Bravos de Boston neighborhood is relatively close to the water, the area is more congested and the north shore beaches are not very good for swimming because of the waves and rocky shoreline. During our visits to the island, we learned that the best swimming beaches are located in the 18,000 acre National Wildlife Refuge on the south side of the island (Caribbean side). Imagine calm blue and turquoise waters and miles of remote white sand beaches. Villa Destino sits on the edge of the wildlife refuge overlooking the south side of the island and it is perfectly positioned to take advantage of these breathtaking views. Even better, it is just a short 2-3 minute drive to the entrance to the wildlife refuge.
