Tucked away on a private lot, just minutes from East Hampton Village, Amagansett Village, and Ocean Beaches this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath cottage features a heated saltwater pool & Mahogany outdoor shower, outdoor lounge area, and charming children’s playhouse - creating the perfect setting for relaxing days spent at home.
Originally built on Amagansett Beach at the turn of the century, the cottage was lovingly relocated and fully renovated in 2018- resulting in a seamless blend of historic charm and modern comfort.
Formerly owned by Bill Bradley and Sally Quinn before Grey Gardens. Impeccably designed and decorated. Downstairs features a bright dining room, well-sized living room with a decorative fireplace and dining alcove, brand new designer kitchen and half bath. Expansive King Primary Suite (~400 sq ft) is downstairs off of the living room: working fireplace, vaulted double-height ceiling and newly renovated primary bathroom including Carrara marble and freestanding tub. Upstairs includes two bedrooms, one with a queen (150 sq ft) and one with two queens (170 sq ft), and newly renovated full bathroom. Central air and heat throughout house. Outside, thoughtfully landscaped grounds including secluded backyard with heated, saltwater gunite pool (18x40) open during warmer months, outdoor dining and lounge areas including large sectional / dining table, gas firepit, outdoor shower and grill.
This is the perfect home for families with young children, with an outdoor swingset and play kitchen, cribs, pack n play, baby safety gates, a baby bath, and many other child-friendly amenities listed above. The pool is covered in the colder months and is gated. There are bikes and beach chairs for you to use. There is also an additional refrigerator in the basement.
You are welcome to the WiFi network and Smart TV (which includes Netflix and other streaming platforms). Credentials are detailed in the guest manual.
Paying to heat the pool will be the responsibility of the guest. Pricing varies depending on desired pool temperature, duration of use, and weather, but you can expect at least $200-400 per week and is equipped with a smart meter for ease of tracking!
There will be an additional fee of at least $200 automatically assessed for the use of any indoor fireplace for necessary, cleaning, ash vacuuming and maintenance.
Stays of one week or longer require an additional cleaning during your stay. You can arrange directly with us to schedule. We pay our cleaners a living wage and spend more time cleaning in the summer months due to the pool maintenance and groundskeeping.
Groundskeeping and pool maintenance team members may occasionally be on site during your stay. If this ever poses an issue or concern, please reach out immediately and we will adjust.
