The amenities and location of this home are excellent. We especially appreciated the generous kitchen and dining space, and the artfully labeled drawers and cupboards in the kitchen. The four bedrooms and 2 bathrooms satisfied the needs of our intergenerational crew and we slept well. This home is in walking distance to both Crestwood and Brookside, two great little KC neighborhoods, with fun shops and a great selection of restaurants. There is a wonderful playground nearby with a yummy ice cream store and a boutique coffee shop a couple blocks away at Morningside Plaza, which also has a little card/gift shop. Also in walking distance (though some might drive), is a Whole Foods, the fabulous KC Miniature museum, and the start of the KC Trolley (which is FREE), which has convenient stops all the way downtown to the Power & Light district. Our hosts were clear in their communications with us and immediately responsive to any questions we had. There were some severe storms when we visited, causing power outages in some neighborhoods. Our hosts proactively reached out to us to check on our well-being. Now that's hospitality.

Christmas Stay

Kitchen was very well equipped with dishes, glasses, mugs, pots and pans. Major appliances were brand new. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and feeding the koi in the little pond.

Great place!

Great communication with host, cute house with lots of room for 8 adults and 2 littles. The koi pond was a fun addition in a cute backyard! Parking was a little tricky, but was sufficient for 3 vehicles, using the street. Quiet, shady neighborhood. Wish we had stayed longer!

Active Neighborhood / Convenient Location

My brothers and I stayed here while visiting for a family event. The house is well appointed. Liked the labeling on all the kitchen doors and cabinets. We used the nice coffee/tea station in the house every morning Location is in a safe and active community. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance to the Country Club Plaza. Nice hiking path a few blocks from the house. Would book again.

Kansas City house

Wonderful place! House was clean, in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Fenced in yard was really nice. 30 minute walk to Plaza, not far from restaurants or grocery stores. Jennifer was a great host, when we had a question she responded very quickly. We appreciated her assistance immensely! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice older home in nice neighborhood. Pretty convenient to the things we were going to. It was very hot when we were there and a couple rooms didn't cool off as well as others but not too bad. There was no ice in the ice maker, maybe that's standard. Driveway is a little tricky to back out of, steep and narrow. There was plenty of parking on the street. Does allow pets so there is a bit of a pet smell. Place was nice and clean though. The fish pond in the back yard was delightful. All in all, a nice well stocked place to stay.

The property was well maintained and inviting. The owner generously left convenient extra touches in the kitchen like coffee and tea choices, granola bars and even a few pantry basics like pasta. A nice touch. Cozy yet very spacious, quiet neighborhood. you'll enjoy your stay!

Birthday trip

This is the best equipped VRBO house I have stayed at. Even if you don’t know you need something, it was there. Very clean and comfortable. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. Great option for restaurants nearby. We ate at Red Door Woodfired Grill; great menu and food was awesome. There was a grocery store right across the street. I would highly recommend this house.

Cute property

Overall, the house was cute, clean and easy to find. It had plenty of space for the 6 of us who came for a girl’s weekend. The host was quick to respond with any questions I had and provide recommendations on places to eat. She accommodated us for a slightly early check-in and slightly late check-out. I would recommend this property.

Perfect place for a long weekend

We had a family event in town that we needed a place for 6 of us to stay comfortably and relax when there. This place was great, it had plenty of entertaining space and comfortable seating.When checking in, the window unit in one room wasn't working but they were very responsive and put in a new one the next day. Probably would have done it that night, but with 4 bedrooms, we were able to make due for a night.Quaint place and would stay again. One minor annoyance is the shared driveway and tight parking, but there's not much that can be done about that. If you have a big vehicle, probably best to plan on parking in the street.Great property manager too.
