We definitely enjoyed our stay at this property, but there is some general maintenance and upkeep that could be done at this property as well. The house was generally clean besides some hard water buildup in the bathrooms and some random ants in the main bathroom. The location was very convenient and it was really nice to let our toddler ride her bike in this neighborhood. Very low traffic quiet street noise. He did have some trouble with the lock arrived checking in and the host was very quick to respond.

Hosts were very nice and communicative. The big yard was great for my dog, he had a blast. And I myself enjoyed the property (especially the video game room).

Street parking available, plus walkability to local restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Only complaint was that you have to keep most of the doors open in the house to stay warm at night, and the rain shower heads don’t rinse the shampoo out of your hair very well.

Megan was super responsive and a delight to rent from. Location super close to great shopping and restaurants - less than a 5 min drive to Country Club plaza. Also close to downtown, just a 15-20 min drive if visiting for a Chiefs or Royals game as well. Nice to have the yard for your dog and just to hang out in. Would definitely recommend!

Host communication was excellent! Very prompt and helpful. Kitchen provided an odd array of supplies but we were able to make it work and cook/grill several meals. House had a little bit of an odd layout but provided plenty of space for 4 adults. We were always able to find easy street parking in front of the house each time. Centrally located to several attractions in Westport and greater KC; only took 10-25 minutes to get anywhere we wanted all over the city. Overall, enjoyable stay!

We stayed here 2/3 nights. We ended up leaving after finding some major cleaning issues. Upon entering it wasn’t deep cleaned and had not been in some time. Major hard water buildup on bathroom sinks (but hard water cleaner in cabinet). The tiled shower was filthy and we thought we would shower still since we had shoes and the water pooled in the shower (not clogged). (We don’t use rentals with shower curtains so this was a big issue). The next night we found the source to a horrible smell in bedroom and it made us realize the bedding had likely not been changed or had been changed but the soiled mattress pad had been ignored. The host made it right and their communication was top notch. They were sorry and said they were addressing these issues with cleaning staff. I will say the price for what you get is high, but was like that all over. I do think they could add a driveway to the right (looking from the street) and it would accommodate several vehicles and still have a large yard rather than sharing a drive and not having much space to park as there is a trailer sitting in the back that makes it more difficult to back out and impossible for larger vehicle to turn around and drive out. I also would suggest adding a key code to get into the back door since that is where people are parking.If cleaning issues are fixed, this would be a good place to stay. The hosts are very attentive. Unfortunately I can’t give a good review to the actual home in the condition it was in.

Well located property in Kansas City

We had a great stay in Kansas City. This property was well located for the activities we wanted to explore: Crown Center, Union Station and Boulevard Brewing. The host was very responsive to messages and the property was clean and well cared for. I loved the coffee bar and my son loved the video game room. A great property that served our needs well.

Nice option for events at the Crown Center

Cute house, lots of room for everyone to spread out, fenced yard for the dog, the AC worked well, lots of restaurants and shopping close by - would recommend highly for people looking for a place to stay near the Crown Center
