A cozy 2-bedroom 2 bath eye catching ocean view cottage ideal for a couple, honeymooners, small family or friends travelling together. Each bedroom features a queen size bed. One bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and the other a full En suite bath. The property is located 2 miles east of Sandals Resort. Within walking distance to the grocery store and a 5 minute' drive from the Exuma Int'l Airport.

Ms Dorothy is such a pleasure to work with. House is as described and views are beautiful! You can access the ocean by a tiny walk to some stairs at the property next door. What a wonderful idea of providing a car. Was perfect for all your needs!

1st time in Exuma

We were very impressed with the 2 bedroom cottage and the jacuzzi under the pergola outside. Both rooms have a full bath but only one has a mirror and it is the one with the tub/shower combo. It was hot in the unit when we arrived but after turning the mini splits on, we went eat at Tim's on the Bay. By the time we got back it was much better. I advise you close the bedroom door so the room can be cooler for you but that means the kitchen/living area will be warm. Description says the beach access is just down the road but we never went. Too many other beautiful beaches with calmer waves to see. The grocery store is conveniently less than 3 minutes away but no ice for sale. We really appreciated the cooler that was provided in the unit for all of our excursions. Kitchen was stocked with all essentials so I could cook. Grill outside didn't look to be in good shape but I didn't try it. Overall it was a great experience and no inconveniences.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in the Exumas! The property was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. What truly made our experience exceptional was the amazing service provided by Dorothy, the property manager.Dorothy was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, even offering her car for us to rent. She personally met us at the airport with the car, which made our arrival so much easier.Her hospitality and thoughtful touches truly stood out, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the Exumas and can’t thank Dorothy enough for making our trip so memorable!

Vacation in paradise

We had a wonderful week vacation here at Dorothy's house on the Exuma Island. The setting right on the ocean was amazing and being able to sit at the cabana at any time of day was incredibly relaxing. The house was just perfect for the 3 of us and the small kitchen worked out fine, considering we cooked all of our meals while there.The host Dorothy was a jem, very responsive to any of our questions or needs. She even sent a bottle of wine over to us when she heard we were celebrating our 51st wedding anniverary there. I can't imagine a better host, and that means alot since I am a host myself. We are forever grateful to her.This place is highly recommended!!!!

Amazing Views & Great Times

This place has gorgeous views! Very clean and Host was super accomodating and responsive! No direct beach access but access spot not too far from house. And lots of other great beaches near by. The sound of the water and waves is incredible!

Beautiful Location

The location of this house is perfect, and the views were one of the best on the island, great spot to see the sunrise too! Reaching the beach next to us was not that difficult, worth walking to, it's beautiful! Super cute inside, bedrooms were nice. We did have difficulty finding the house at first but then figured out how to use only coordinates sent to us for an address. We could not reach our host upon arrival, so we did spend quite a bit of time trying to find the house, and responses did take quite a while thereafter. Overall, our stay was amazing.

Met all Expectations

As soon as we arrived everything was perfect. The hot tub was getting fixed in the air conditioning was getting fixed right away. Great location, incredible views we will be back for sure.

Disconnect from the world to reconnect as a family

Beautiful property, clean and very nice. Walk right out on the porch and you are looking out in the stunning views of the ocean. There is no direct access to swim, but if you walk down the road there is beach access.The host was very helpful and quick to respond to all inquiries.

Expectations Exceeded in Exuma!

The property is beautiful and was perfect for what we needed and wanted. We were two couples celebrating wedding anniversaries. The two bedrooms with en-suites were awesome. The host responded promptly to our questions etc…. We would definitely recommend and return ourselves!

Exuma stay

The house was very cute and private which we loved. It does look as if you can walk right out on the beach, but there is a rock cliff in front of you so you have to find another way down. We were happy overall. I do wish there was a mirror in the master bathroom and a little bigger table to eat (we have a family of 5). One last thing that would be good is an information sheet with names of all the grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, etc. One feature that I loved was the surround sound. You can connect your phone to it and play music. That was fun!

Great property and our host was wonderful. The property is Hard to find at first, but there is a convenience store nearby for reference. The property has everything you need. You must know that there is not direct ocean access. There is a low Cliff with sharp rocks, but the view is stunning and quiet. No restaurants in walking distance.

Two couples

We enjoyed our time in this lovely cottage by the sea. The house is in relatively new condition. It had many of the things you would need expect to find in a rental. But as a fellow owner I have some suggestions to improve things: it could use a dresser in each room for clothes storage, I would also suggest a mirror behind the sink in the left bedroom and think they should supply hand soap/shampoo for guest use. A lovely place and these things aren’t big problems, they are just suggestions from one owner to another.

Serene and tranquil ocean view cottage

We had absolutely wonderful time at Dorothy's place in Exuma! It is clean, nicely decorated, had all the necessities for our one week stay. Dorothy was swift to respond to all our questions. The view from the house is unbeatable overlooking the ocean! Very secluded! The only drawback is that there is no direct access to the beach, you have to walk about 200 yards to the public access trail between two houses leading to the magnificent emerald water beach! It was our mistake though assuming that there is direct access to the beach from the house based on the pictures. The house is sitting at the edge of the ocean but on a cliff. We rented a car and explored different beaches on Exuma every day - every next beach more beautiful than the previous one. Overall, we had great time and would not think twice about returning back to this magical place!

Amazing Beach House

My husband and I had a great time in Exuma! We celebrated our honeymoon, and Dorothy had the house decorated when we arrived. The house is beautiful, had everything we needed during our stay. Anytime we had a question, Dorothy responded within minutes. Thanks for making our first trip to Exuma amazing!

Exuma’s Best Hidden Gem

I can’t say enough good things about this property and our overall experience in our rental. The communication with Dorothy was seamless. She was most helpful, kind and informative. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need for a wonderful experience. It is well hidden and private and you can’t beat the views of the Atlantic Ocean. We did not struggle with the heat nor bugs since there was a constant breeze making our outside experience very pleasant. We are planning to stay at this house again during our next trip to the island!
