The cottage was built in 1900 as a boat house and sensitively remodeled to maintain the rustic atmosphere. The separate waterfront studio is an added privacy bonus for guests. The waterfront decks complete the package for beachfront sunsets with family and friends.
The window-lined main cottage features an open living concept with plenty of seating for lounging and entertainment.
Channel your inner chef in the well-equipped kitchen and plenty of counter space for meal prep. Enjoy waterside dining on the deck or inside at the dining table for a family style meal while enjoying the everchanging tidewaters and gardens.
This two-bedroom two-story beachfront cottage with separate studio can sleep up to six people comfortably.
In the cottage there is 1 full bath plus outdoor shower and 1/2 bathroom on the second floor where there are two bedrooms equipped with queen size beds.
The separate waterside studio suite offers a queen-size Murphy bed and sofa combo, full bath, and efficiency kitchen.
The added bonus of the very private seaside gardens, lounge areas, outdoor shower and parking for 2 cars complete this special property.
Notably, this classic, authentic beach house is one of very few available properties for rent in Provincetown that has a beachfront location on Commercial Street, sleeps six people, and with two parking spaces. It’s a one-of-a-kind property capturing the imagination of an era gone by!
PERKS / AMENITIES include parking for two cars, air conditioning, washer/dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi, and cable TV. FRIDAY TO FRIDAY RENTAL in HIGH SEASON.
Other details : Cleaning Fee $375 (linens Included) plus applicable state and local taxes. This property has a seven-night minimum during the peak season.
*Cancellation Policy*
In the event of cancellation for any reason, please contact us immediately followed by in writing. Upon Notice of Cancellation, we will endeavor to find a substitute tenant. In the event a substitute tenant is found, monies paid will be refunded and your rental obligations will be canceled. You herein acknowledge that you will only be entitled to a refund if you give written notice and the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. For your protection, we recommend the purchase of travel insurance. In the event the property does not rent for the same terms, all Guest payments for the entire agreement amount are due and forfeited to the owner.

We've been staying in Ptown for 25 years, on and off the water, and this special spot is our favorite of all. Gorgeous, ever-changing water views; lovely landscaping; charming deck perfect for morning yoga or sunset cocktails with a few friends; rustic interior that respects the historic Cape feel but with all the conveniences; cozy bedrooms; easy parking for two cars; and room for a couple of guests in a perfectly equipped studio on the property! And Eugene O'Neill slept there!
