My grandchildren enjoyed property

The kids loved the porch swing and the pool. The house accommodated my family of 11 with plenty of beds and bathrooms!

Great family place!

The property was very clean and very nice overall. The private pool was a great benefit especially with a little one. Working with the owner was a breeze, she was so nice and communicated very well with us.

Amazing family vacation

Though the weather was not ideal, staying in this lovely home made it possible for us to spend some quality time together as a family while also having plenty of space. The host was very generous and helpful the times we needed it. Would 100 percent stay in this house again.

Summer 2024

The pool could have been cleaner, and the towels were a bit old but otherwise we had a great time. The AC and all other appliances worked great. Very convenient to restaurants and stores. The swing bench was a great touch.

Thank you for choosing my Garden City Beach home. I wish I would have known about the pool not being as clean as possible. My pool service comes twice per week. Not sure why and I will check on this and I can check on the towels as well. Thank you for bringing to my attention. This is the only way I know what and how I can improve my guest experience. I hope you and your family will vacation at Garden City Beach again and I would love to have you again as my guest.

Great Beach House

Our first and definitely not our last visit at this property! The whole family enjoyed the space and pool! I cannot say enough about Patsy and Mike. They are easy to contact, very quick to respond and so friendly. We were so happy to meet them in person and thankful that they took time out on Father’s Day to deliver a new TV for the living room. The best!

FUN, FUN, FUN!

Our family of 8 had a great time! The house was very nice, just as described, and very comfortable. It was more than enough space for everyone to move about and not be on top of each other. Having the pool was a definite plus -- we enjoyed it the most and had a few meals outside by the pool. It was also in close proximity to everything, including beach access. Patsy was a gracious host and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Thanks for the memories, Patsy and VRBO! We hope to be able to stay again in the near future.

Great house for family

House was great for the 10 of us. 6 adults and 4 teenagers. Kids loved the pool. We did rent a golf cart so the trip to the beach was a breeze. The only downside was the rules for the beach. Garden city beach only allowed umbrellas to be used so we had to travel up to surfside beach to use our canopy’s but the golf cart was useful for that. Overall the house had all the amenities our family needed

Great House for a family vacation

The house was perfect and was very comfortable for our 9 adults and 1 baby to sleep comfortably and enjoy a wonderful family vacation together. The pool was great, we always had hot water for showers, and the kitchen was well stocked. However, we booked this house because it was "2 minutes and about 200 yards from the beach". That part is inaccurate as the walk took at least 10 minutes with all our stuff and a baby and was .3 mile from the closest beach entrance. In the heat, I wish I had known it was not that close.

Nice home overall

First Patricia was extremely responsive when we told her pool needed cleaning. Home was nice and roomy for our large family. Garbage disposal wasn’t working and although Patricia told us in advance, when we washed dishes in the other side, sink would fill up and nasty stuff came up. We tried clearing it but to no avail. Garbage was left in kitchen basket because we had zero room left in bins. Twice a week garbage pickup would have been nice. Neighborhood was quiet and home was within walking distance. Family had a great time.

Nice but needed cleaning

This is a beautiful home and we had a wonderful time, but it was in need of a deep cleaning and surface cleaning before I felt ot suitable for my family. Trash behind nightstands and dressers, vacuums left full, all the chairs lefts for use were rusted and unable to be used, and the trash was overflowing outside upon arrival and the trash only came once to pick up. There were palmetto bugs in the house, in the silverware drawer and on the fridge. I left it way cleaner than when I arrived. Pat was very pleasant and was going to take care of the issues. She allowed us to wait by the pool when we arrived early and was very accommodating. The house was beautiful and the pool was wonderful.

Thank you for your review and for bringing to my attention otherwise, I wouldn't have known. I have addressed the issue with housecleaning. Haven't had this issue before. I do not provide beach chairs to take to the beach, the ones there were left behind from previous renters. I will be sure to throw these out. Our trash service Only comes on Monday's. I've tried to alleviate this problem by providing 2 large trash containers. Hopefully the trash was picked up and the cans were emptied for your party that Monday you were there. I have contacted my Exterminating Company and they were informed of this problem. The palmetto bugs are so prevalent when the weather is hot and humid. And this summer has been just that as well as people frequently coming in and out of the house. I know when I'm there with my large family it seems someone is coming in and out of the house constantly. I am very proud of my Garden City Beach home and take pride in making it as good as it can be for my renters and myself. And I am glad you and your family had a wonderful vacation :)

Nice house not a great street

We liked the house - the street however wasn.t the greatest. The only issues we had with the house itself was near the filter in the pool is something with a sharp edge I cut my toe on it as well as my adult daughter did also. The only other problem was we lost power one night & there is not a candle or flashlight to be found at this house- poor planning since I'm guessing losing power is a frequent event here. The only other thing is with the distance to the beach it would have been nice to have a golf cart - long way to haul beach toys.

Hello Keith, thank you for choosing my Garden City Beach home for your vacation. Thank you for bringing to my attention the sharp edge near the filter in the pool. I had no idea. You are the first to inform me. I will be contacting my pool maintenance company to inspect this and repair asap. And to my knowledge there aren't frequent power outages there and thanks for letting me know to make sure to have several flashlights available in the event. Also, will be installing emergency lighting as well. There are very few beach home rentals, if any (I know of none) offering a golf cart to weekly renters. But there are many golf cart rentals in the area. I am glad you loved the house and hope you had a wonderful vacation.

Perfect accomodations near the beach

Our adult extended family (5 units) gathered for a week which worked extremely well with this property. The house is less than 1/4 mile from the beach. There are ample food/beverage stores along Route 17 which are also close by. When you are not at the beach, there a number of local activities to occupy your time. All in all, we had a great time in a very accomodating location.

Wonderful place to stay!

House is big. Beds are comfortable. Pool is great. Had everything you needed for cooking. Plenty of parking. Loved that they supply all linens. Only a 5 minute walk to beach. Close to everything.

Amazing place to stay!

This house was perfect for my family of 11. Enough space for all to enjoy and the kids loved the pool. Short walk to beach but not too far. Great communication with owner and very clean. We hope to return again.

Just the perfect location and home for a vacation. I knew when I viewed this home, this was the one for me and my family. Just simply love it! And you will too!
