200 feet on the water with boat house!!!

Beautiful classic Louisiana fishing cottage with 200 feet of canal frontage and your own private boathouse that includes two boat slips with lifts. The large porch is perfect for watching the boats pass by or just enjoying the coastal breezes. There's a large kitchen upstairs and a second "entertainment" kitchen downstairs that includes a pool table. Included with the house is a pellet grill, boiling pot with double burner, and an electric fryer. It also has a large commercial ice machine for your convenience.

Perfect place to have our Thanksgiving dinner. The amenities were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with great cookware. Plenty of space and really well maintained. Amazing memories!

Wonderful stay at this beautiful boathouse! The owner was very accommodating to us, and we had a blast fishing all day. Having the ice machine and boat slip was a super nice perk. We were able to dock our boat each night and hop in fully loaded with ice and food, and take off first thing. We'll definitely be coming back to this house for our annual boys trip!

This was an amazing trip, the check in was seamless. The house is truly amazing the pictures don’t do it justice. The 2 kitchens were great that will spoil you fast. All the beds were so comfortable. We fished and even though we only got 1 keeper it was so much fun catching them, the deck over looking the canal was nice watching the boats come and go. This place provides you everything you need just bring your clothes and some food, your ready to go we smoked ribs grilled steaks, boiled shrimp and crab it was all there from the propane and burner, boiling pot, smoker, grill and the pellets no hauling all that big equipment. We will definitely be having a repeat vacation to this place.

Nicest house that we have stayed at in Hackberry - and we have stayed at a countless number of them around Big Lake, especially this particular area. Everything was immaculate and in excellent condition. Owner went above and beyond to ensure perfection as well. Definitely plan to rent this house again in the fall.

Perfect Fishing Trip

There was so much awesomeness about this rental, its hard to figure out where to start. First, I received an information sheet that answered many of my VRBO style questions. Location of the nearest boat ramp, bait store, grocery store, available guides, etc. Also listed were the included amenities inside the house, Ice machine in the boat house. Huge fish cleaning table. Lots of exterior lighting. House freshly remodeled, so everything is new. I liked the coffee area is apart from the cooking, preparing area. Whoever is making breakfast isn't dodging sleepyheads looking for their morning cup. The food pantry was in the laundry room, I believe that kept the kitchen better organized. Pots and pans in kitchen are brand new and good quality. House is located on a canal with 2 boat slips. The purpose of our trip was fishing, and we kept the boats in the slip the whole time, didn't have to trailer them at night. Lake Calcasieu is an awesome fishing location.

The nicest camp I've stayed at in Hackberry. Tonia was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. This camp has everything needed for a great weekend of fishing or just hanging out. Lots of parking for both vehicles and boats. We will definitely rent this one again.

Family fun at the lake

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. The house was clean and well stocked. We were thankful for a decent supply of paper goods, laundry and dish detergent. Beds were comfortable. We appreciated the boat house to safely stow our boat overnight. We went to Holly Beach 20 minutes down the road. fishing and crabbing on the lake, then took a sunset boat ride to the casino. Location was great for us and we had no issues. Management was responsive to questions

Graduation celebration Crab Trip

My family of 9 celebrated my daughter’s high school graduation with a weekend crab trip in Hackberry. We are so please with this property and the host. The home was set up so nicely to accommodate our group and had all the comforts of home. The house was beautifully decorated and every detail planned so well to make it easy to fish, boat, and cook the catch. The host was very thoughtful and responded quickly ti any questions I had. Tonia provided detailed information regarding the house instructions and any information you made need for your stay in the area- fishing guides, golfing, shopping, etc..We had a wonderful stay and would love to rent this home again!

This house has nice views from both the front and back porches. The large full acre yard provides space for kids to run around and also gives privacy to our guests. There are fishing decks in the back yard for your convenience and also a commercial ice machine.
