Secluded Cabin w/ Rushing Creek Sound & Hot Tub
Escape to the sound of rushing water at this unique creek side cabin. On Mountaintown Creek, famous for trout fishing and Cherokee built V-shaped fish traps, this secluded getaway is perfect for relaxing and creating memories with family & friends. Enjoy the views from one of the 5 decks, the 6-person hot tub, outdoor fireplace and the game room. 3 bedrooms + loft sleeps 2 + futon in game room & sofa in lower level. Fiber optic internet, EV charger, tankless water heater and generator.
The main floor features the living room with smart tv and gas fireplace, spacious living room, kitchen, dining area, full bathroom and bedroom w/queen bed. The main floor has a large deck that has an outdoor living room seating area with gas fireplace and smart tv, outdoor dining table and seating to admire the creek view.
Upstairs has the master suite with king sized bed, ensuite bathroom with garden tub and shower, and private deck. The adjacent cozy loft overlooks the living room and dhas 2 futon sofas that fold out into full sized beds. This is not a private sleeping area, but great for kids.
Downstairs has a bedroom with queen sized bed, full bathroom, living room with smart tv and kitchenette. This lower level has access to the deck with the hot tub, also features seating to relax next to the hot tub and enjoy the view of the creek.
The ground level has the game room which has air hockey, darts and a smart tv that you can hook your gaming equipment to if you bring it. This ground level deck also has a ping pong table and corn hole games.
The waterside deck is down a flight of stairs from the ground level deck and has access to the creek and seating to relax to the sound of the rushing Creek. Here you can access the bank as well where the bonfire pit and hammock are located.
There is a small portion of the road that is not paved but it is well-graded and no special vehicle is required to reach this property. There is enough space for 2 cars to park comfortably up next to the house. Other vehicles can be parked in the driveway leading up to the house. EV charging plug available in parking area but bring your adapter. The is walk-in access to the creek just down the driveway a bit. There are lots of stairs at this cabin.

We live in Atlanta, but love to get away to the beautiful North Georgia mountains whenever we can! We can't be in our beautiful Treehouse all the time and enjoy hosting families and friends who also enjoy a relaxing retreat surrounded by nature and all of the outdoor opportunities at the cabin and in the area.

Treehouse by the Creek is located right on the banks of Mountaintown Creek, which flows into the Cartecay River right in the neighborhood. The cabin is located in the Coosawattee River Resort gated community that offers lots of amenities such as swimming pools, creek and river access, a gym and community center as well as an arcade. However, when you are at the cabin you feel secluded and far away from other cabins as it is at the end of the road and surrounded by trees. We love to spend time at the cabin in the hot tub, playing games with family and also day trips to all that the area offers. It's a short trip to downtown Ellijay or Blue Ridge for unique dining and shopping.
Carters Lake is only a few miles away and is the deepest lake in Georgia! excellent for boating and fishing. There are many hiking trails and waterfalls nearby to explore. Tubing is a great way to spend the day in the Summer. Apple picking and visiting local wineries is amazing in the Fall. No matter how many times you visit the area, there is still always something new to discover and explore.

The Treehouse offers so much outdoor living space and private access to the large creek. The creek has v-shaped fishing traps constructed hundreds of years ago by the native Cherokee and has a serene, mystical quality to it that is truly relaxing.
