This cozy log cabin sits on a gated, private ranch located conveniently in Lake Co., FL and surrounded by beautiful nature. It is the perfect setting for a day of relaxation, or nearby outdoor/water activities. Here you will find peace and tranquility. We have plenty of parking for your cars, motorcycles and boats, and plenty of space for your furry friends as well! Please also consider reserving the entire 7-acre Green Cabin Ranch property, which includes additional sleeping accommodations in the Red Barn. The Barn sleeps six comfortably. Great spot!

We had a wedding to attend nearby and this was a welcome find and a great way to be able to enjoy downtime and bring the dogs. It’s really cozy, clean, and welcoming, with room to roam- would recommend for sure!

Great property

Though our stay was short, we really enjoyed the Green Cabin. The property is incredibly unique, and is exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay here again, if ever in the area. We were attending a wedding at the Howey Mansion but this venue would be perfect for an outdoor wedding also.

Awesome mini escape

Never been in a cabin and the 7 acres of land was awesome for me and the kids to explore. The outdoor night lights makes it great for us to hang outside while we cooked up some marshmallows by the fire pit. Great zen place to escape people and spend time with loved ones.

An amazing place

What an amazing place to stay. From the moment you drive into the property we were enamered by the beauty of the surroundings and the cabin. The cabin is very comfortable and cozy. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our time was spent relaxing with our 3 dogs and enjoying the property. We ventured into local Tavares which is a cute town, with a lot to offer. From waterfront restaurants, airboat rides, walking trails and so much more. We will definitely be back next year.

Heaven in the country!

The Green Cabin Ranch is amazing! Beautiful cozy Cabin with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The cabin and the grounds are exactly as pictured - but the photos don’t come close to reality. The massive trees with spanish moss and cool breeze on the extra wide porch was heaven. We would never stay anywhere else if we ever get back to the area for kayaking in the Spring - which is also an amazing fun day on the water among FL’s awesome wildlife. Thank you again for a wonderful getaway.

Beautiful

We wanted a home base to get away from the cold and this was just the most beautiful, peaceful, quiet, relaxing place to do that. Brad said, "welcome to your home for the next three weeks," and that's what it was. We enjoyed biking, pulling the puppy in a trailer behind us as and this place is close to the West Orange Trail and the South Lake/ Minneola Trail, perfect for exploring the beauty of the area. It was perfect!

Wonderful Experience

Our stay at the Green Cabin Ranch was amazing. It is so peaceful and quiet. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The cabin is centrally located to Disney and other interesting places. We felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. The owner was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We are already working on when to schedule another visit to the cabin and recommending it to our family and friends. P.S. Our dog Kirby gives the cabin 4 paws Up too!

Amazing find!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is absolutely gorgeous. Very peaceful. Our kids played on the tire swing and huge yard non stop! It’s off a main road but you wouldn’t really notice too much because it’s situated back quite a bit. Very clean. Beds are sooo comfortable. We loved how the hanging lights turned on automatically at night. Made a great environment. Only thing that we didn’t like has nothing to really do with the place is the mosquitoes were out of control at night. They chased us inside. We met the owner Brad the morning we were leaving and he was such a nice guy!

Cabin is cozy

Cabin is a little small for my taste but nice and cozy. The acreage is beautifully maintained with a huge wraparound porch and lots of shade. Kids loved the tire swing and trampoline. At this price point, I was surprised to find the AC was set and locked, the washer and dryer was not available for use and cooking on the old stove was a challenge not to mention many cheap dollar store utensils. If I go back, I will bring towels and utensils, knives to cut my steak and bowls to eat my oatmeal. I would not be able to convince my husband to come due to the governed AC.

Thank you, Ellen. It was a pleasure having you and your family at the Ranch. I apologize for the inconvenience with the AC. We keep it at what we believe is a very confortable temperature. During the summer months we are forced to lock it since a lot of doors are left open, and the AC works non-stop. It's not so much for saving money as it is to make sure it keeps operational during the stay, and for the long-term. If you had raised your concern during your stay we would have adjusted the temperature to your liking. Because we are in the country, and most of the activities happen outside we keep lots of utensil, some of which might have been left by previous Guests. We leave the better ones there, and let people use them as they see fit. We pride ourselves on providing some version of everything we think our Guests will need during their stay. We have all Kitchenaid cookware. In addition to the new roll of paper towels provided for each stay, cloth towels are replaced every two to three months, and put through a sanitary wash after each checkout. The listing specifies in advance that there is no washer and dryer available. However, we do provide washer and dryer accommodations for longer stays. We put a lot of love into prepping and leaving the Cabin in top shape for every Guest. Thank you for sharing your thoughts as it can only make us do better in this regard. We do appreciate you! We'll continue to strive to provide nothing but the optimal experience for our Guests at the Ranch!

Like No Other!!!

This place has ruined it for me for all future properties because Nothing will compare to this beautiful place. If you love nature this your place! What a way to refresh the soul with acres of land filled with large old moss trees, fountain, and best of all a donkey named Henry, who we fed apples to. There was a rooster in the background as we had our morning coffee at one of many scenic spots which made it really cool. I have to say this was the hardest place to leave. I can’t wait to experience it again. Also the owner is so nice!!! This is a wedding venue so they had all the bells and whistles to make it absolutely perfect without compromising the natural beauty.

A Relaxing and Peaceful Stay

Absolutely perfect. We were traveling over the holidays and the Green Cabin Ranch was the perfect place to spend our Christmas. It's a very private location on seven acres, but close enough to Mt. Dora to take in the many restaurants and shops. There are also many lakes in the area and several hiking trails nearby. Brad is a very conscientious host, non-intrusive but available if you need him. This place is magnificent. You won't want to leave.

Gorgeous and Quiet

This listing is spot on. The property is absolutely stunning and the grounds are so peaceful with lots of room! We were a small group but a large group would love this place. Mount Dora is nearby and a lot of fun with excellent restaurants and cute stores. Christina is a great host who responds quickly to any questions but isn't intrusive.

Mini girls staycation/ Baby shower

Christina, was very kind and attentive. We enjoyed our stay, property is absolutely gorgeous and so quiet. Full of nature and loved seeing the sand hill cranes every day that roam the property. Also enjoyed meeting the dog of the ranch, Gus. Thank you Christina for allowing our family to have a baby shower, while on our mini girls vacation. Was absolutely perfect for our Winnie the Pooh theme. We will be coming back!!!! Great for any staycation, and just to escape and enjoy nature. I definitely recommend this property and will be back.

Gorgeous property, true cabin feel.

The check in process was well explained. As soon as you enter the gate you are struck with a beautiful site of a well maintained 7 acres. The cabin has two upstairs suites with a shared bathroom. The bedding smelled heavenly, I should have asked what the scent was. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen and a large family room with a big screen tv. Plenty of parking outside and outdoor seating is plentiful. Great place for a get away or family fun.

A Wonderful and Amazing Place

Green Cabin Ranch is a great place!!!!!!It is BEATIFUL !!!!!!!A place where we enjoyed nature and gave us the opportunity to go with our pet. Everything in this place was in perfect condition. Impeccable in terms of cleanliness and organization. We had a BBQ and ate as a family. We had the pleasure of meeting its owner who were attentive to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the place.

Very cute cabin

The cabin was very cute and cozy. We were not at the property much during our stay except to sleep because we had a wedding and a rehearsal to attend but it would have been a nice place to hang out with family and enjoy the porch and play games.
