Esta unidad de arriba / abajo se encuentra en el Complejo de Ridge Apartamentos en Elkhorn Village. The access to the mountains was ok. It was about 10-12 min drive to the main mountain. Dollar mountain was only a short drive which is good for beginner skiers. The hot tub location was also a drive away and we did not use it due to the distance. The condo was great and had everything we needed. The reason I gave 4 stars for the value was lack of hot tub on the premises.

Great location and host

Highlights for our group of five adults included the overall spaciousness of the condo, the well-stocked kitchen, the hot tub, and the great communication from Ron. We were also able to check in early which was very appreciated. Thanks for a great stay!

Great spot for wedding Party

The property was exactly as described and very comfortable. The Ridge is a perfect location to rent several condos for family and friends for weddings or reunions or just a great vacation. I highly recommend this condo!

Perfect Place!

The condo was a great corner unit conveniently located right across the street from the bus stop. The condo was equipped with all the essentials and wonderfully decorated! Super clean! It was a short walk to a beautiful outdoor hot tub. The host was amazing! Great communication! We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Spring Break Location

We had a wonderful time here. The condo is extremely clean, beds are comfortable, and the location can't be beat. It's right across the street from the bus stop so getting to the base of the mountain was so easy. Ron was even kind enough to mail a package back when one of our party forgot some clothes. He's a wonderful host.

Great place to stay

Condo was just as described. Has dual Master Bedrooms each with a King bed, which was exactly what I was looking for. The place is well stocked and nicely kept. The only knock on the place is that the property manager wasn't on her game and didn't have the place open for us initially.

Unfortunately, the slip-up was on us because of a lack of communication with our property manager. We came up to switch out the dining room table and hang a mirror and locked up without telling our manager. So sorry for the inconvenience, but glad that everything in the unit was as you expected.

This condo was perfect for us for the ski week. Large living room, comfortable bedrooms, good location. Ron was very attentive to the one minor problem we had. Nice to have an owner to call rather than waiting on hold with property management.

Comfortable haven

This unit had just about anything you’d need. The bedrooms are spacious and beds extremely comfortable. Although I gave perfect ratings, I wish there was air conditioning since the top floor got hot during the afternoons.

Well-appointed is an understatement! Nothing overlooked!

This property was comfortable and uncrowded even with 5 adults staying in it and 2 more visiting for meals. The host and property manager were both quick to respond and completely accommodating to any special requests or concerns. Great location. Clean, comfortable furnishings. Excellent set-up for cooking. I definitely recommend this property for a comfortable, home-like stay in the Sun Valley area.

Clean and comfortable

Great location, well equipped. We would have preferred to have less food and drink items left in the fridge and cupboards since we weren’t always sure what was ours.

Good to know; thank you! We do want people to feel at home when they arrive, so we typically leave some drinks in the fridge (as well as condiments) and only ask that people replace what they use, but it's good to hear the other side of the issue.

Wonderful visit to Sun Valley

We rented this condo for our niece and her family during a recent visit with us here in Sun Valley. The three bedrooms provided plenty of space for parents and the three children. Their teenage daughter loved having her own bathroom and queen sized bed! The location was perfect and they enjoyed their stay very much. We found the condo to be clean and comfortable with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Sun Valley 2025 Trip

We enjoyed having sufficient space for the 4 of us including bathrooms. The Condo had all the supplies needed to prepare meals. Things were clean and organized. Ron was a great host and replied to my emails as well as gave some great tips for our stay. We were 5 minutes away from the Dollar Lodge and 15-20 minutes from Bald Mountain. The Condo was very quiet and cozy.

Yes, I apologized to the guests and gave them a bottle of wine and some locally-sourced biscotti as a gesture of good will for the fact that they had a problem with the lock. I called a locksmith, but unfortunately he was not able to come to the condo before they left. He has subsequently resolved the problem.

Great layout for group

We stayed in the Elkhorn property for a family Sun Valley ski trip. The layout worked great with the bedrooms on the lower level and a spacious gathering area on the upper level. It’s nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The location is good with restaurants and shops close by in Ketchum. Ron was responsive to my questions and we didn’t have any problems. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, comfortable, Affordable

My husband and I loved this place. The photo's and description are very accurate and the condo is beautifully decorated with a great comfortable bed and bright large bedroom plus the little clever bunk area. The owners were so helpful and easy to work with. The property has tennis, golf and swimming pools that you can use too, in addition to bikes and a bike path just across the street. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a very homey, comfortable affordable place from which to explore and enjoy the Sun Valley area. Lots of fun things to do nearby!

Nice property in Elkhorn

We had a great stay at The Ridge. The condo was well appointed and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family of four; we could have easily accommodated an additional couple in the second master suite. With the development being a bit older, the bathrooms were a bit cold and the oven was having some issues, but the owner/management company was responsive and working quickly to get the oven fixed. I am sure that it will be working properly by the next tenant. We look forward to staying there again!

Yes, the prior occupants reported having issues with the oven door, which we were able only partially to resolve before this guest arrived. Therefore, we're replacing it with a new oven (1/18-20, 2017). Regarding the bathrooms, there is a heat lamp in each bathroom; don't know if the renter used them, but we will check to make sure the bulbs are functioning properly. Delighted to hear that everything else was as expected, and thanks for the feedback!

We came to Idaho as educators in 1972 from Ohio. We have three children and two grandchildren who love Sun Valley as much as we do. Sun Valley is a family-friendly place!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Sun Valley is our favorite destination spot in Idaho and surrounding states. The area has everything that makes it a perfect get-away, including spectacular scenery, world-class outdoor activities, and friendly people. We enjoy snowshoeing in the winter months and hiking, biking, and golf in the summertime, but we also take full advantage of the large variety of shopping and restaurant opportunities in the area. We prefer being in Elkhorn because it is close to the Sun Valley Resort, Ketchum, and Hailey, but its secluded location lets us enjoy the peaceful, mountain environment. We love coming to "the Valley" because we can relax and be as active as we want to be; we always hate to leave.

We previously owned and rented through VRBO a 1 BR/one BA condominium in the same complex, but our family outgrew it. Because we have really appreciated being in the Ridge Condominium Complex, we were delighted when this larger unit became available in the fall of 2014.
