Welcome to Case De Playa!
 

A Mediterranean luxury vacation home in Rockport’s Key Allegro community. Casa De Playa is the perfect spot to bask in the gorgeous waterfront scenery and escape reality.  As you enter through the wrought iron gates of the lanai, you're greeted with lavish tropical foliage and a fantastic Spanish flare.  The home is decorated with a unique Spanish style in every room.   Once you’ve entered Casa De Playa you’ll feel as if you’ve left Texas. 

 

Casa De Playa has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and is set up to sleep 12 guests.  There are four master bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and a private bathroom.  The fifth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.  Perfect room for the kids!  

A wonderful Mediterranean feel continues throughout the home. With a chef inspired kitchen that is fully stocked with kitchenware, there is no need to worry about bringing anything from home.  In the dining room you will notice a large table that will seat ten guests.  Casa De Playa has an open concept living and dining room creating the perfect space to gather and visit with friends and family.  There is even a mini cocktail bar great for entertaining and creating your favorite liquid refreshments!  One of the unique features of this home is the floor to ceiling glass doors in the living room that can be opened to allow the beauty of Aransas Bay and the cool bay breeze inside.  

As you step out on to the back patio you are greeted with panoramic views of Aransas Bay, a large private swimming pool and several areas to sit and relax and bask in the sun.

Cancellations: Changes or cancellations to reservations less than 30 days must be done 14 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. Monthly rentals must be canceled 30 days prior to arrival to receive a refund. Monthly rentals canceled within 30 days of arrival will forfeit the first month's rent and processing fees. For reservations made less than 14 days of arrival, you have 24 hours from the time that you made your reservation to cancel or shorten your stay.

Labor Day Heaven

Our family had an amazing stay! The house was equipped with everything we needed. The house was big enough for everyone! The pool was amazing and we fished all weekend! The neighborhood was beautiful and not crowded at all!! We all had a wonderful weekend!! We will be back!!

Great water front property

Overall great stay! We had issues with the pool being cloudy throughout our stay. When we called, maintenance confirmed they had been having issues with the pool system. Someone was sent out our first night to add cleaner. Great fishing! We caught fish, small shark, and crabs. The house was well stocked.

Great view

Great view, great fishing. They have everything in the kitchen / and outside for grilling/cooking. There is not a guest bathroom so every-time you need to use one of the many restrooms you must go through a bedroom - which was fine for us because we were all family. The maintenance man appeared at our back door knocking and scared us a bit, one day - but was nice. Plenty of beds for a big family. Sheets were soft and good pillows, too.

Great visit

Property is great. Located in a perfect spot with excellent views and well-appointed. Loved the pool and sitting area outside and spent most of our time there. Kitchen and house overall are well-appointed. Only minor suggestions would be putting some sort of blinds/drapes on the bedroom windows because the sun is pretty brutal in the mornings. Also, the fans/lights in the bedrooms all respond to the same remote so we had a tough time with the lights the first night trying to figure out why our lights were all turning off and on. Gas grill outside is also pretty tiny and won’t hold much at one time. All things considered, the house is great and a perfect place to enjoy time with friends or family. We plan to return!

1st Family Vacay

The home is definitely beautiful and the rooms are plentiful, I loved that every guest had their own private bathroom/shower or bathtub. While I understand the outdoor cushions on the patio seating will get dirty, but replacements should be considered every now and then. The lights on the Pier did not work and we were forced to purchase lighting for safety reasons. We called maintenance but they never showed up. The propane was out on gas grill & pool was cloudy and chemicals were hard on the eyes. However, overlooking the issues, we had a wonderful family time together.

Great house for fun!

Really great location and a nice house with lots of unique features. Large den that was great for gathering. Super clean property with great parking for lots of cars. The property management was amazingly responsive! The pool had too much chlorine and was super cloudy but it didn't stop us. The pier was great for fishing all day! There was an ac leak dripping in the kitchen that was addressed really quickly. A couple of things to note - the bathrooms have no real doors. They are set up with partitions but not doors. Not a problem if traveling with people you know really well but might be uncomfortable for some. Also, the chairs at the table are not kid friendly. They turn over really easily. Two of our kids almost turned the chairs over. Also, the house doesn't have very many plates or cups or glasses.

Lovely location but house and pool need significant maintenance

Location was fantastic. AC not working on arrival. Windows had not been cleaned and were covered in salt spray. Exterior deck, pier dangerous due to broken tiles and multiple sharp steps. Kitchen ceiling was water damaged and stained. Interior very dated. Furniture inside was old and some was torn and damaged. Listing should state that the house is not suitable for elderly people who have difficulty with steps. The tile rear entry which we were allowed to use has a lot of uneven sharp tile steps which stick out and are not even. Several of us tripped multiple times. The beds were comfortable but mattresses are up on high concrete platforms and it was not easy to get into the bed if you are short. Labeling light switches would be helpful. After we finally figured things out we had a lovely time. Location is the greatest but we were disappointed that the pier was broken and blocked off by bits of wood. Would not rent and pay that price again unless things were corrected. We informed the management company of our issues and they sent someone to resolve issues and left us a gift basket which was appreciated.

horrible house

I wish I had read the reviews before staying we had bugs and ants in the beds, the dock was not fixed, the refrigerator was still not fixed, the dining chairsyou could not sit comfortably since all the chairs were so wobbly you had to be careful, the pool was not clean it either had algie or mold even though the maintenance man said it was just pealing paint, my daughter accidently touched it and it came right off so it was either mold or algie. The fifth bedroom that had the bunk beds was so hot it had one vent and no air was blowing through which made it unusable, the window had no blind which if you are trying to relax and sleep late it makes it impossible. The reason this house was selected was because of the no stairs due to an injury that makes it difficult to climb stair. DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE UNTIL ITS FIXED, even the maintenance people that were sent said it was a bad house.

Family Vacation

We had a fantastics family vacation as we always do! Unfortunately, we had multiple issues, some caused by the storm the week before we arrived. We received notice 2 days while we were driving down that we couldn’t use the dock due to the storm and that was disappointing but we understand no one had control over it. The Management team responded quickly to arrival issues ( toilet did not work in one of the bathrooms, light fixture in kitchen was hanging down and dripping water) our biggest issue the arrival day was a safety issue- my son moved the bunk bed slightly and the top bunk bed fell on the bottom bunk bed. We took the top bunk bed and placed it on the floor and notified the management co. This could have been disastrous if my 2 year old grandson had been on the lower bunk bed. Day 2 we realized we didn’t have any hot water. Management co responded quickly but unfortunately we didn’t have hot water till late afternoon on day 3. The refrigerator water/ice machine randomly comes on shooting water and ice on the floor. Management sent repair person but unfortunately it is not fixed. Even though the house had multiple issues my family thought the house was beautiful, offered privacy and the location was great!
