Escape the hustle and bustle of the French quarter and retreat to this stylish home in the heart of uptown NOLA. This fabulous 3 bedroom is brand new with upscale furnishings and hotel luxuries.
Go "brewery hoping" down Tchoupitoulas street. Take a short walk to Magazine street and go window shopping at the fabulous boutiques and galleries- drink in hand! For the serious coffee lovers, Cherry coffee is a block away- tell them I sent you! :) And for the young at heart, Hansen's sno-balls is around the corner. A perfect location for a perfect NOLA vacation.

Beautiful home in a great location! We truly enjoyed our time at this lovely home. It was big and comfortable with great bathroom space and comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything we needed, wifi worked well, street parking was easy.

Charming home

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Parking out front was easy, communication with the owner was great, proximity to everything (without the noise) was perfect. It is not in the heart of things though (if that is what you are looking for - which we were not). The home itself is charming and well maintained.

Clean and comfortable

This was a great stay for us, had everything we needed. Kitchen nicely outfitted, bedrooms comfortable, baths clean. Really nice courtyard in back. We were fine with being on Tchoupitoulas but it is a busy street, for those who haven't been. Always found a parking spot right out front. Would definitely return!

Cute spot to stay in NOLA

This house had all of the charm of New Orleans with plenty of updates. The house was clean and well maintained. There were so many amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot!

The space is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the host is very responsive. Walkable to Magazine Street and Mister Mao’s, which was our favorite meal of our entire time in NOLA. It’s about a 20-minute drive to the French Quarter, about 30 on Uber, so just factor that in to your planning. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend!

Family Mardi Gras Home

Our family absolutely loved our stay at this charming NOLA VRBO. Spacious, clean and the perfect location for Mardi Gras fun. Beds were cushy, pillows plentiful, and it was even stocked with toys and dishware for the kids! Home was well heated during an unusually chilly weekend in NOLA and the bedrooms were quiet due to their back of home location, so don't worry about the busy street. Parking was easy on Tchoup at any time of day/night. Host was super responsive, and check out was a breeze! If you're travelling with kids, especially for Mardi Gras, would 10/10 recommend!

Perfect house

The house was perfect for my family. It looks exactly as pictured and the location was ideal. We could walk to so many places. The property manager was very responsive to any questions I had. We would definitely stay here again.

Super Bowl in New Orleans

We enjoyed a wonderful Super Bowl weekend in this very attractive and well-appointed home. While we were out-and-about for most of the time, we enjoyed the comfortable and welcoming living space this home has to offer, especially the outdoor terrace which provided a private place to relax and enjoy the nice weather. (It was sunny and high 70s!) Communication and suggestions from Amira were excellent and we really appreciated all of the helpful advice. Street parking was ample (we rented a car) and we were within 15 minutes ride/walk/uber of any place we were going (french Quarter/CBD/Garden District/City Park). Walked home from dinner at La Petite Grocery with a stop at Tiptina's for live music - highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed this home! We used to live in uptown and came home for a visit. I was close to everything uptown, was beautiful and had everything we needed! Will come stay here again!

Holiday Gathering

We didn’t want to stay in a hotel in 3 different rooms so we found this place and it was perfect! Most of these style of house having living rooms that aren’t accommodating to seat 6 and this open floor plan was awesome for us all to relax at night and socialize until all hours. Highly recommend this place for the layout of the house and location to all things New Orlenas is just minutes away.

Great place to stay for famlies

Birthday celebration weekend

Uptown gem

The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. I was nervous about being on a busy road but we were able to park right in front everyday and always felt safe. The location was perfect to walk to all the restaurants and shops and even a playground for the kids. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Place, Lovely Stay!

The property is exactly as pictured online, very pretty and plenty of space. The location is nice since there’s convenient shopping nearby and lots of great restaurants in walking distance (highly recommend Mister Mao down the street!). It was exactly what we were looking for.

Jazz Fest fun!

We loved the location, walking distance to grocery stores, bars and restaurants.frankly and Johnny delicious food! F and M fabulous bar. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for Uber. My favorite part of NOLA is the people. Grateful to have my son at Tulane, we won the lottery and now found our favorite place to stay.

Christmas visit

The house was perfect for us. Other than a few lightbulbs needing changing and a problem with the oven, everything was smooth. Place is up to date, nicely furnished and updated, and the beds we’re comfortable. Easy to get anywhere in New Orleans from there, and good restaurants and a big supermarket nearby.

Charming and comfortable

My friends and I flew in from all over to enjoy a NOLA weekend and go to the Saints game. We were pleasantly surprised with how big and nice the house was. We were four large adults and had no problem sleeping or staying out of each others way. And since the weather was rainy we stayed in more than we planned and watched the great college football games playing that weekend on the large TV. Check in and out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful retreat in New Orleans

We had a great time at this property in New Orleans. Beautiful inside; lovely outdoor space on which to have some coffee or a drink; comfortable rooms. Host was easy to communicate with and responsive. It's on a busy street but was a cute neighborhood to walk around in. We rented a car and had no problem parking. Great stay -- would return there!

Beautiful house-matches pictures

Really lovely home with easy access to shops and restaurants. We were staying for a Tulane related event and was much easier than staying down near the quarter. We rented a car and used it but also walked to a number of places. The house is well stocked and was an easy place to feel at home. Definitely matches the pictures online.

Beautiful and welcoming home!

As others have said, the house is even better than the pics. Neighborhood is friendly and clean. Grocery really close by. Don’t miss Hansen’s Sno Bliz a few streets down for a true NOLA experience. Same with Barracuda Tacis. Road out front has traffic and there is a train nearby, but we were never bothered by either one so don’t fret. Linens and beds were super comfy, too. Will come again next time visiting extended family. True gem!

I'm a busy professional whose main passion in life is to travel the world with my 7 year old side kick. I also enjoy hosting and am constantly finding excuses to throw a party. I must confess, however, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to where I stay and how/where I vacation. So naturally, furnishing my new short term rental and sharing it with my guests-to-be has been thoroughly enjoyable! I took all of the things I personally look for and added them ( plus much more) to give my guests an unforgettable experience.

During this journey, I found my new passion and creative outlet in furnishing and interior design. With my daughter's help and input (mostly by dancing to the backstreet boys while I decorate) we have created a chic, warm, family friendly home. We hope you enjoy the Chateau Bleaux as much as we do!

We live in NOLA. We are serious foodies, enjoy being out and about and exploring this fabulous city. I'm happy to make any recommendations about anything related to your stay here. As you can see this listing and the home are brand new so we have no reviews and I am yet to be a super host, but trust me on this one! Happy travels!

This gorgeous home is everything New Orleans. It was originally a shot gun style home that was recently renovated into a spacious single family home, all the while maintaining much of it's original NOLA charm.

The house is located in the heart of the trendy uptown neighbourhood. It is walking distance to cafes, restaurants, playgrounds, grocery stores, gyms, bars, breweries, you name it! It is also a short walk to magazine street and a 10 minute drive to the convention center, central business district as well as the French quarter and super dome. You can't go wrong with this location. Tchoupitoulas street is where Mardi Gras floats line up, such a unique experience ! Parades are all within a 5-7 minute walk!
