Happy little get away with pool and hot tub

We have a homey little get away that feels warm and inviting. We have a wonderful cover deck where you can visit and eat after you use the grill. The yard is big enough for the kiddos to run around in and there are plenty of floats in the shed to use in the pool. If it's too cold for the pool then jump in the hot tub! Our home is 5-20 minutes from so many things it makes for a great central place to stay. Please check out the folder on the welcome table while you eat a piece of candy. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to take a nice walk around after supper. The smart tv allows you to use all your apps and the wifi password in on the Welcome table

Great visit with my daughter off base. Enjoyed the ability to make a meal and just hang out like at home. Pool was not our first choice but it is end of season a bonus in our minds not a need. Hot tub would not get over 95. Kitchen is missing some minor things that had us running to the store. Otherwise very nice stay. New to Texas- wow cars move fast! All together we made it to the river walk and the Alamo in 20 minutes including parking time. Great visit! Thanks Amy

Everything about our stay was perfect. First of all, the host was so accommodating, had great communication and was very kind. The amenities were absolutely perfect, the hot tub was our favorite part but the pool was a blast as well! The house had EVERYTHING we needed and more, we slept so good in the master bed. The house is so cozy! We will 100% be booking again! Thank you Amy :)

My family of six fit perfectly here. Amy was so accommodating. This place felt so cozy we felt right at home.When I needed something Amy responded promptly. The house was so cute, loved the special touches, safe neighborhood & each room had everything for our stay. Thanks!

Poor host. Before the trip I messaged that we were looking forward to the hot tub/pool. She said the hot tub was drained, but after some back and forth agreed to have it refilled before arrival. But then it didn't work, multiple messages to troubleshoot, it never did work. When I said I was disappointed, host said it was "dumb" to use it in hot weather (its Texas...) so she didn't think we would care. Listing said it sleeps 7 & photos showed 4 beds (2 2 bunk beds). But there were only 3. I contacted the host who said she "didn't even think it would matter" to replace the bunk beds with one bed. I told her it was a problem to be shorted a bed. She replied that one of us should just sleep on the couch until she had a rollaway delivered the next day, and then complained she had to spend 300 for it. One of the hand towels reeked of pet urine, and we all left covered in bites suspicious of bed bugs (super itchy bites in locations that were only exposed when sleeping...). When I messaged the host she denied bugs but said they always get bites from mosquitoes and no see ums so we should have used the spray she never told us about in the pantry. Host was overall unaccountable and rude. She tried to say I was unreasonable for expecting a working hot tub, the beds advertised, clean towels and and a bug free home... which seems like a pretty low bar to reach. There are so many options to choose from in San Antonio, I recommend picking a different one.

A Perfect Stay

We had a great stay in Live Oak. The house was very easy to access and the location was great and close to the freeway systems as we moved around San Antonio for the week. Host had excellent communication with us and response time was great. The pool and hot tub was perfect for our family.

Charming Home in San Antonio

Cozy home with plenty of shade tress in the yard pool and hot tub were a nice addition to the outside area. We will definitely stay here again in future trips to San Antonio.

Clean house in a quiet neighborhood

The house looks exactly like the photos. Kitchen had all the supplies needed for cooking. Amy was very accommodating in her responses. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, swimming in the pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. I would definitely recommend.

My family and I were impressed of how it looked on outside and inside. Kids loved the swimming pool to go swimming and the rooms were lovely. Only bad side effect was no washer or dryer in the house. Overall everything was good with no problems.

Great and cozy little home in a quiet neighborhood

My family had a wonderful time in this home. The home was clean and basic necessities were available for use. The pool was a tad cold but we knew that it wasn’t heated going into the stay so that wasn’t surprising. The hot tub did stop working after a storm but as soon as the owner was notified she began working to get it fixed. She had it fixed before we returned from our days adventure. We loved that the home was easy to find off the main highway and was in a quiet neighborhood. I felt very safe with my 4 kids from 1-14 staying here. All the main stores we needed were within a few miles and didn’t require highway travel to get there. Not having access to a washer and dryer in the home was a small inconvenience but we found a lovely laundromat near the Walmart Supercenter. I would have liked to have a high chair available for my little one but we knew the washer, dryer, and highchair were not available before booking and I’m glad we booked this home even without those amenities. The patio was fantastic as well we loved that there was a table, chairs and a ceiling fan. We plugged in the lights every night and enjoyed winding down outside after a day full of adventures. There was also a grill with propane available for use however we didn’t use the grill. It was a nice amenity we didn’t plan for. Overall if the fingerprints on the windows my 1 year old left don’t prevent us from staying here again we would happily reserve this home for a return trip to San Antonio!
