Rated 5 out of 5 stars on Airbnb with over 20 reviews. This beautiful home is located on Lake Henry--the hidden gem of Alexandria. With lower boat traffic and ample size, this lake is perfect for swimming or boating and has some of the best fishing in the area. A canoe and 2 kayaks are provided for your use! Located in the heart of Alexandria this house is minutes from everything while still providing a country feel: you will not find more stunning views. The stylish interior has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, multiple TVs, and fast Wifi. The exterior has a beautiful 3-season porch-- with beautiful views of both the sunrise and the sunset. The firepit which has wood provided is the perfect way to cap off you evenings.

Beautiful Lake Home

Beautiful lake home with everything you need for a family to stay. We stayed during the winter months but this property would be amazing for the summer time. Upstairs is super private for a second family to stay. Highly recommend. The host was very helpful with all our questions.

Great place for a girls getaway

This was perfect for our birthday girls getaway. The beautiful kitchen with large island was great for eating, playing games and cocktails. The back porch and fire pit were also a favorite. Owner was very responsive to questions. Alexandria is a great place to visit!

Absolutely perfect place to stay

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin. I cannot wait to stay again. The host was easy to communicate with-every part of our process from booking, to checking in, and then checking out was effortless. I highly recommend this property! It is in a beautiful neighborhood, has easy access to the great town of Alexandria, and is extremely clean and well cared for.

Great lake house

We were looking for a peaceful get away by the lake and this property was great! Exactly as advertised, spacious and clean with excellent communication from the owner. We really enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful property, great neighborhood, excellent views and amenities. The home was beautiful.

Great space for family, so many things to do and spaces for everyone and all ages. Clean, spacious and a wonderful time was had by all.

Excellent stay

The place was exactly as advertised, and the communication with the owner was incredible. It was also extremely peaceful. I would absolutely stay there again.

Perfect get together

Four siblings and their spouses stayed two nights at this place. It was super clean, tastefully decorated, ticked every box. We could sit around the kitchen island or outside around the fire pit. One fished off the dock and caught four fish. Two took the kayaks out for around the lake. Each couple took turns with a meal. Again, a grill for the guy making steaks. Top notch appliances for egg bakes. Everything was there; only thing needed was ice. We hadn’t even departed and were already talking about next year here… Thank you for a great spot!!

Great spot for family vaca!

This was our first Vrbo experience, and we greatly enjoyed our stay! The property was very clean, updated and private. We spent most of our time outside, enjoying the peaceful lakeview and a bonfire. It was so nice to have a second bathroom and living room so that the family could spread out. Only improvement I could suggest would be clearing some of the reeds by the dock to provide easier lake/kayak access.

Great Property and Stay

We loved this place and would definitely stay again. Very clean and updated! Decorated so nicely and being on the lake was a bonus. Great stay overall!

I was born and rasied in Alexandria. I have had the oppurunity to live in multiple cities around the United States and even spent 6 months living in Seoul, South Korea. The last decade I have been in Minneapolis. While I have found beauty in all the places I have beenmy experiences opened my eyse to how much of a special place Alexandria really is. In my mid-30s I finally moved back home in 2020 and have never looked back. I purchased this home within a few months of living in Alexandria and I spent the better part of 2 years fully gutting and remodeling it. I hope you love this place as much as I do.

Aside from the location and the views this property provides-- you will find everything in this house is updated. During the remodel I had you the guest in mind with everything I did. I have given my best effort to cover every detail to make your stay enjoyable and if I recieve feedback from a guest on any way to improve the experience I listen. While this listing is new on VRBO it has had 22 reviews on Airbnb at the time I am writing this-- all were 5 out of 5.
