This historic Inn sits at the base of Ragged Mtn. and provides the perfect space for family gatherings! Cook in the large commercial kitchen with double wall oven, 6 burner stove, griddle and multiple commercial fridges & freezers. Seat everyone in the spacious dining area. A magnificent great room with wood burning fireplace, game table and oversized picture windows looks out over the sprawling hills, giant outdoor fire pit and pond. With lots of abutting trails to explore. Jump in the heated indoor pool or view swimmers from the bar balcony and sunken conversational room. Grab a book and nestle in one of the many quiet nooks throughout the house. Plenty of nearby shops, restaurants & golf course's while Only 20 minutes to Mt. Sunapee and lake.
For even MORE space add our apartments to your rental. Early check-in may be available for a fee of $600.

We held our family reunion here and were not disappointed. There was more than enough room for 18 of us to be comfortable and it was easy to find a hide away nook if so desired. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with multiple stoves, ovens, and a large griddle. There are plenty of pots, pans, baking sheets, etc that makes it easy to prepare a meal for the whole group. Commercial fridges and freezers provide plenty of space to keep food and beverages cold. The dining area can comfortably seat 30 people and has a nice long serving shelf that makes it easy to do buffet dinners. Eric and Renee were quick to respond to any questions we had, and the one small maintenance issue we had during our stay was addressed immediately. If you are looking for a place for a large gathering of family and/or friends, you won't be disappointed with this property.

This place was AMAZING! We have a large family with a LOT of kids. There was enough space for absolutely everyone ! All the rooms were a great size. If you wanted to get away by yourself, this place is big enough where you can do so. The large living room had couches big enough for ALL the adults to play board games at night. There were huge fireplaces. (Although it was summer so we didn’t get to use them unfortunately ). The commercial kitchen was massive. There was a commercial stove, double ovens and the star of the show….. the griddle. That griddle made breakfast for 20 people all at once. It makes me want to get one at my own house. And the dining room has plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat together. The pool was perfect and kept the kids and adults busy when we didn’t want to venture out. Lake sunapee was about 15 minutes away. It was a small beach but wasn’t too packed. It was a fun day. All in all, we will DEFINITELY be back. This will be our yearly family vacation.

This is our third year booking this house and we absolutely love it. The pool is so much fun, the updated furniture was great and overall 10/10 experience. The host was very available to answer questions and great to communicate with throughout the stay. Can’t wait for next year!

The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and prompt in reply to. questions. The history and charm of the property were amazing. Large, very well stocked kitchen. The kids particularly loved the variety of games available. We would definitely recommed for large groups!

The kitchen is awesome with plenty of refrigerator space. Bring any foil, plastic wrap, leftover containers with you. They have tons of plates, drinkware, cookware. The pool area was a big hit with the younger folks and some of the parents. We didn't end up using the fireplace because the weather was mild.

A perfect getaway for a large group!

The old inn was a great spot for a weekend of BBQ, yard games, and good times. The accommodations were just what we needed for a great getaway! Eric was great to work with and was quick to respond to all of my inquiries. I hope to visit it again!

Great stay for large group

We had an amazing weekend at this house! It had plenty of space for our 8 families with tons of beds and places to hang out. We never felt crowded and so many options for things to do with the pool, games, tv room and board games! Thanks for an amazing weekend we’ll be back!!

Perfect weekend

My husband and I invited our wedding party to stay at NHMI with us for the weekend of our wedding! We got married at Ragged Mountain and this inn was a perfect spot for our wedding party to get ready/ hangout after the wedding! The inn was extremely clean and charming with views that will take your breath away. Perfect weekend!

A perfect spot to relax!

Our stay here was wonderful! The property is gorgeous, so much space to spread out for our yearly family vacation (32 of us!). The kitchen is amazing!! You’ll have anything and everything you would need to cook. The pool was great for the kids, the deck outside overlooking the pond is a great spot to relax with a drink and snacks. Communication with the owner was quick and easy, it was clean and really had everything we needed to enjoy hanging with our family. Highly recommend!!

Amazing weekend!

We had a bunch of friends and their families together for the long weekend. The house is perfect for everyone to be able to have plenty of space and amazing entertainment. The kids LOVED the pool and we set up the living room for a perfect movie night. We will be back!

Better than you can even imagine!

Mountainside estate was an absolute dream property! I swear we didn't even find all the bedrooms because there were just so many! All the guests raved about every part of the property, from the pool, to the kitchen, to all the lounge areas. Everything was comfortable, cozy, and very clean. We can't wait to plan our next stay!

There aren't many places with the space to fit us all, LOL. Our young family is full of active bodies who love to hike, swim & snowboard. So Ragged Mtn. is the perfect spot. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Our "Inn" has so much to explore with a pond and trails on the property to provide entertainment for every season. Indoor pool is heated year round for your enjoyment. With 11 bedrooms, plus the extra 2 - 2 bed apartments (if you'd like to rent the entire property). This place can provide the perfect place for a destination wedding or family reunion!
