Cozy Villa with top of the mountain views, large wood burning fireplace, updated and fully equiped kitchen. Enjoy the large deck with plenty of outdoor furniture and relaxing hammock chair. Wake up in the beautiful custom made king four poster bed and enjoy the incredible stars at night and sunrise in the morning. Quiet and peaceful. Pickle ball courts and playground nearby. (Two racquets in unit) Walk to the beautiful Otter Falls just next door. and we also have Hawk's Nest Snow tubing and Zip-lining a half mile down the road. Horse back riding nearby. Appalachian State University. Grandfather mountain, Grandfather Winery, Sugar Mountain and so much more nearby. Best central location!!! Nice place. There was an issue with the front door lock but the host resolved it immediately and it was a non-issue after that. Clean place, great views.

Cozy, clean, tranquil, spacious unit with spectacular mountain views & everything we needed for a special family fall weekend including an evening fire in the fireplace. The location alleviated driving great distances with nearby Grandfather Vineyard & Winery, Maw's Produce, Mountain Dog coffee shop, playground, & Otter Falls hike - a great 1 mile hike round trip to see the waterfall. Just perfect with a 3 year old!

Quick mountain trip - girls getaway!

We headed to Boone to see the band Pink Martini in concert and decided to look for a VRBO instead of a hotel and this was perfect! Beautiful mountain condo with an amazing porch and gorgeous Mountain View’s! We arrived in the afternoon and enjoyed wine and cheese while watching the hummingbirds at the feeder and catching up with each other. A short drive to Boone got us to town early enough to pop into some shops before the show. After we returned we sat on the porch and watched the distant lightning before heading to the incredibly comfortable beds. Morning brought coffee on the porch and more birdwatching before heading back to our homes.Our host was communicative and friendly! We’d gladly return!

Beautiful place, lots of room, lovely bathrooms, great layout, pretty finishing, THE VIEW!! I can't say enough nice things about this place . One of my favorite places ever staying in the mountains!! The host Pam was so gracious! Would 1000% recommend.

Cabin Feel with Beautiful Mountain View

With my spouse and friends, we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Hanging Rock Villa. The kitchen was well supplied with all of our needs and more! We just had to bring the groceries. The cabin decor, the comfortable beds, the spacious living area, the outside dining area, the beautiful Mountain View, the hiking of Otter Falls so close by and easy access met all our expectations and more. The host was very quick to respond to any and all of our questions. We hope to return and stay here in the future.

Highly Recommend

Wonderful property and exceptionally wonderful host. The location is ideal for any activity you may want to do while vacationing. Hiking trail with a waterfall, a winery, gem mining, alpine coaster, coffe shop, some thrift and antique shopping. There is gas station extremely close by. The property itself is the most relaxing, cozy and warm environment to return to after a day of exploring. The veiws are pretty; the property gets so much natural light. We will without a doubt be booking another stay.

Quick trip

Came up Friday for an ASU football alumni event and spring game. Got in late on Friday. Everything was ready and great. Hostess let us stay an hour later after normal check out so we could sleep in extra. Everything was great!
