Set back from the other cabins, this large size cabin can offer great privacy for larger groups looking to spend time away from the fast-paced life of normalcy. Come for the adventure of the Northwoods to a resort with the best of both worlds. This resort caters to both your water sports activity and your adventure in trail riding for all terrain vehicles. The best part about this cabin is that it allows you to bring the whole family (no DOG) left behind.

Cabin #10 is located within 1.5 miles of all main trail systems. ATV, bike, snowmobiling, anything all terrain trail needed let's not forget the miles of cross-country skiing trails, hiking trails and walking trails nested within the system marked separately for safety all located within walking distance of this resort.

This four-season cabin #10 offers exploding possibilities for great outdoor adventure and millions of memories to be made. The original resort was established in 1907 and has a very unique history. Cabin #10 was built in 2013 with modern up to date furnishings. Fully equipped with 3-bedroom 2 bath pet friendly spacious cabin will sleep 6-7 people in 2 queen beds and 3 single beds.

After touring the landscape that offered miles and miles of trails within 1.5 miles from this cabin, come back home and take 100 steps out your front door to a beautiful sunrise/ sunset on Big St Germain Lake that offers the best possible conditions for all your water activities. Bring all your equipment needed to enjoy kayaking, boating, water skiing, swimming and freshwater fishing.

In the winter bring your ice fishing gear snowshoes and any winter equipment used to enjoy the calm solace of the winter months. The crisp clean brisk mornings will light new spark into your day. Enjoy a hot chocolate on the deck all while contemplating the beauty of the Northwoods.

If you listen closely in the summer months, you will hear the morning calls of the close by loons and may get to see the eagles soaring above. Music to your ears, you couldn't ask for a better location for the adventures to be had at this private resort location Deer Run Resort.

Sitting back from the other cabins gives this cabin a more private setting while still having full access to the lake and view. A private campfire area and private outdoor furnishings make it a great spot for outdoor cookouts and star gazing!

Winter getaway

We stayed at Deer Run for a snowmobile weekend. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Couple things we would like to see change, especially since the cost is high to rent...resort must fix road coming into property, terrible potholes. 2024 - Up North Vacation

But we have stayed at Deer Run Resort since 1997, we've rented various cabins in the resort depending on the number we have in our party that year. It is a great place to stay. On the south-east side of the lake, you get great sunsets and a lake breeze to keep you comfortable. The cottage we stayed in is off the lake but is in great shape and comfortable. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms enough space for us to relax and enjoy. The firepit is a must for campfires while the cottage has a great kitchen to prepare meals. The property was clean and neat when we checked in and if there are any issues they are there to help. (though we didn't have any this year) St. Germain is a favorite, with the flea market on Monday, great restaurants like Sisters Saloon, Knockers, Sayner Pub, Fibbers, DJ's & 3C's for breakfast.

The deck was not clean and the chairs hadn’t been cleaned in years. The outside need to be racked and the rewas old stuff laying around. The back of the cabin. When I contacted the rental company, they had chairs delivered, but made no attempt to clean up the outside area.

Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely October get-away to St. Germain and had the entire Deer Run to ourselves, which was nice because we brought our dog and he was able to thoroughly enjoy himself. Deer Run #10 is a very nice, modern, updated cabin. Lots of space. A great kitchen. The only thing missing was a fireplace...but that's not a big deal.The only frustration I have is the cleaning fee. $250 seems like A LOT when I'm already paying for the space to begin with. We took out garbage, washed all of our dishes, stripped our beds, swept the floor and left the place in very good shape. I wonder what the $250 is for? Cleaning toilets? I guess. I'd be happy to do that for $250.
