Recently remodeled single level, high end home with 180 degrees spectacular Lost Coast views. Relax and enjoy the splendor of the Pacific from the hot tub of this modern luxury home. Two ocean view bedrooms on opposite ends of the home ensure plenty of privacy. The ensuite main bedroom has a free-standing tub under an exquisite abalone shell chandelier, bidet and walk in shower.
Any chef would be right at home in this very well-equipped kitchen which includes a Wolf range and Subzero refrigerator, with many useful small appliances. If you prefer to cook outside, there is a gas barbeque in the garage to be used on the driveway.
You are ensured a restful night's sleep on the king size Ghost mattresses on both beds. The master bed is a split king, adjustable for comfort and support with premium bedding.
Working vacation? Feel free to have an extended stay and work remotely at the comfortable desk in the main bedroom with high-speed internet and those amazing views of the Pacific.

This is an absolutely beautiful home with a stunning view! Black Sands Beach is gorgeous and very close by. The home had everything we needed (and more) for our stay. The hostess provided the check-in information a few days earlier than expected which I really appreciated.

The ocean view was spectacular! The furnishings, kitchen appliances, layout and serenity of Sunset Villa is exceptional! Communication was also excellent and the check-in process was seamless. Shelter Cove is a hidden gem. The California Coast of bygone days and a romantic setting that cannot be beat.

This house is wonderful. The view and the amenities are perfect. Shelter Cove has very limited restaurants and a general store that is expensive. So if you plan to cook bring everything. The kitchen has all the cooking amenities you need to cook. Bring oil because there isn’t any. Not a big deal, just be prepared. The spa was a bonus and wonderful since it was chilly when we were there. The beds and pillows were heavenly. I slept great while I was there. The patio has a table for six and four swivel chairs. I loved hearing the waves crash against the rocks. The view is spectacular because you are up on a cliff so the view goes forever. We were able to see blow from the whales and to witness is rare. This home will not disappoint you. I can’t wait to return. Bring your clubs if you like to golf. A cute 9 hole wrapped around the airstrip. Shelter Cove is a diamond in the rough.

We began our adventurous travel from Austin, TX into San Fran to drive the legendary Hwy 1 and 101. This house was breathtaking, peaceful and a calming paradise. The architecture and aesthetics of this home is brilliantly thought out with the perspective of what would make it a memorable stay for anyone. Stunning property with majestic views. The views are really beyond description. Ocean and waves and crashing surf forever. The house itself is so well-designed and of such high quality materials that you’d enjoy your trip even if it rained continually and you were forced to stay inside the entire time.

Luxurious, yet comfy, home. This home has spoiled us. Everything, from the ocean views down to the beds, was amazing. There were so many details that we kept pointing out: the rocking chairs on the deck, the chandelier in the dining area, the home-made spice mixtures in the kitchen, even the beach towels that were thoughtfully provided. The owners have thought of everything.I recommend leaving the sliding doors in each bedroom that lead to the deck open during the night. Waking up to the pounding surf and ocean mist was such an incredible way to start the day.
The sunset that first night was magical.

Perfect Place in Shelter Cove

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your place in Shelter Cove. The house was perfect for 4 friends to meet up, cook meals together, sip wine on the deck, enjoy the incredible view, plan hikes and beach walks, complete a jigsaw puzzle, and watch movies together. This place was amazing with outstanding views of the ocean and a short walk to Black Sands Beach where we saw whales, seals, and a beautiful sunset. Quiet retreat

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. I loved this home and my stay. Amazing views of the ocean and forested hills from the deck. You can hear the waves from the house, which is a great sound to wake up to in the morning. We saw deer on the property multiple times. I came to relax and this home was perfect for that.

A few Days in Paradise

What a wonderful relaxing house! The view was incredible. The sounds of the ocean at night was so relaxing. The house was impeccable. Comfortable beds. Everything you needed while away from home. Love the towels! We wished we had stayed a little longer. Definitely would stay again. Thanks for opening your home up to us.
