Feel the calm set in as you step onto the patio and take in the mountain views.

Go for a round of golf in the morning, then head out for a day of boating on the Columbia, more like a lake then a river in this area. Or just soak up the sun by the community pool (SEASONAL Memorial Day - Labor Day).

In the evening take in a concert at the Gorge, or just relax by the fire pit.

Desert Sky House is in the best part of Desert Aire with close proximity to the pool, golf, pickleball, boat launch & park.

We have an exterior security camera on the garage facing the driveway, and an exterior doorbell camera at the front door.

Perfect family getaway

This is one of the nicest houses we've stayed in through VRBO. The pictures are spot-on. It was very very clean, well stocked, we needed nothing. Perfect layout for our family as everyone had their own room. The only thing this house needs is a pool/spa and fencing. Otherwise it's perfect. Michele is a great host! Kept us informed on everything. Thank you!

Winter get-away for Thanksgiving

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped home and the surrounding area for our small Thankgiving gathering. Our host Michele went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to relax with family. Easy walking distance to the clubhouse and the Priest Rapids Wildlife/Recreation area. Quick drive to wine tasting at the Gingko Forest Winery in Mattawa and to the Crab Creek- Rocky Ford Recreation area. Perfect long weekend trip!

The house exceeded our expectations. it was extremely clean and looked great. I had a few questions a couple of days leading up to our stay and also when we got there. While in the area teaching a course for the local fire department, we had the opportunity to stay at Michele's house. It was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed at. It was perfect for our stay and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Michele - you have a lovely home!

Quick getaway for a football game

We had a great stay and loved the home! Thank you for sharing! It was perfect for our group to relax. We made all of our meals in the beautiful kitchen, watched a lot of football, and played games around the nice dining room table. Thank you! I would highly recommend this VRBO!

We are a family of 4 (myself, husband and 2 kids). We live in Maple Valley, WA, on the west side of the state. We absolutely love the water, so our 2 properties are in areas that allow us to spend as much time as possible in and near the water. We have a property in Surf City, North Carolina, and this is our newest property here in Desert Aire, WA. This is our vacation home, but we want to share it with others when we aren't using it.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We have always vacationed in eastern WA during the summers to be able to enjoy the beautiful, quiet lakes, but with the benefit of hot weather. We started going to Desert Aire several years ago when our friends bought a place. Desert Aire has 300 days of sunshine a year, the spring, summer and fall are warm and the community is on the Columbia River (Priest Rapids Lake), which is a wide, calm lake in this area. The community also has a PGA rated golf course, pool, playground, work out facility and trails along the water. And all surrounded by the stunning beauty of the area.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Desert Sky House is a brand new custom home, with four bedrooms. Two things that make this home stand out are the huge double sliders leading to the back patio, and the views that you can see from them. The home has 4 bedrooms, so is a larger home in the area. Its in a beautiful part of Desert Aire, on a 1/2 acre lot, within close proximity to the River, Golf Course, Pool and all of the amenities that the community has to offer.
