'The Cabin' es una casa abierta y cómoda de 2,300 pies cuadrados ubicada en la décima caja T del campo de golf Desert Aire. 'The Cabin' es uno de los pocos lugares en Desert Aire donde puedes ver la puesta de sol sobre el río y aún así tener todas las comodidades de Desert Aire a tu alcance. This property was great for us, we came down for some salmon fishing and getting back off the water to a pool and hot tub was amazing. Every room was perfect and the house was spotless when we arrived. Steve was great to deal with, he answered me when I had questions very quickly. I will definitely be rebooking if it’s available when we go back. I highly recommend this property.

My entire family loved this property. Unlike some places we’ve stayed, there was plenty of everything for everyone. One of the grandkids even remarked how nice it was to have plenty of towels! Much time was spent in the beautiful pool and we ate both inside and out. The kitchen and living room space are huge, and with all of the quite large men we had, we were more than comfortable. Would love to stay again!

This is our fourth year visiting this beautiful home. It has always been clean and comfortably furnished. The kitchen seemed like it had more utensils and other equipment this year. The beds are super comfortable, too! There are indoor and outdoor games and DVDs to keep folks entertained, and plenty of places to just sit around and relax. The pool is beautiful and a great size, although the water can be a bit chilly when the wind blows; but when it's nice and hot outside, it feels great anyway. The host is totally available and friendly if any issues come up. We are already looking forward to next summer!

We had an amazing time in Desert Aire! This home was perfect for our family of 10. The swim deck/tanning shelf in the pool was especially perfect for our three grandchildren who were able to play and splash safely. The entire family enjoyed the pool, and the house was set up so great that we had everything we needed and never had to leave, except for going out to golf. The home was exceptionally clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed. It was the perfect family getaway to relax, and spend time together. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic family getaway!

This property was wonderful! We really liked the layout of the house that accomodated our 2 sons and their families (10 total). The kitchen living area were huge and really made for ease for the adults to prepare meals together. It was very clean! The four grandkids ages 6 to 1 year loved the pool! The firepit area was also a favorite place to hang out in the evenings. The AC was awesome (almost too cold sometimes!) The adults also liked the pool table in the garage area. The host, Steve, was very easy to communicate with and responded timely and helped with any issues. A few items to address would be the step ladder to the bunk bed was difficult for littler ones. Possibly this is a temporary fix? Also the railing on the top bunk is cracked so needs replaced. We really like the sonos app on the kindle! Having the music everywhere was really cool! However, the kindle needs updated. It would constantly disconnect. There are a few screws around the decking that were sticking up and I don't know if there is any control over the sprinklers, but 8:30 pm was early for the back yard to be watered - we were sprayed a couple of times! Overall, we had a great 5 days and will book again for sure! Thank you!

Beautiful home, great location. The beds are sooo comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked, and the pool and full house speakers were so fun. Super clean, communication with host was fast and easy.

Ironman Crew Stay

A group of 8 of us stayed here as our home base for our Ironman Race we participated in Richland. The house was a great spot to relax before and after our race… with the hot tub, pool and plenty of outdoor lounging. It is a solid drive from Tricities area, so commuting back and forth isn’t super convenient… however, it felt like we had all the conveniences we needed nearby. Having access to a garage space was huge for us to store our bikes and equipment. Thank you for that! Would recommend!

A Quiet Retreat

The home is in a quiet area, with the golf course behind. We wanted a place to hang out together, with a pool and a hot tub and a pleasant place to sit outside, and this place hits all those ticks! The only place we went was into Matawa to the grocery store, far enough away to be an outing, near enough to go any time. We had some wind this year, but had plenty of time that being in the pool and hot tub were perfect. The house is SUPER comfortable and well kitted-out. Spacious, nicely designed, attractively decorated. This was our second stay and we hope to visit again next summer. That's about the best review one can give!

Steve and Melinda were fantastic hosts and their home is simply AMAZING! Bring your family, friends and food and you’ll never have to leave what can only best be described as a vacation paradise! The only time we did leave was to go and golf. We will definitely be coming back to stay with Steve and Melinda again!

Just What We Were Looking For

This house is very comfortably furnished and fitted out with everything one needs. We wanted a comfy place to be warm with our own private swimming pool to play in. We spent the entire 5 days on the property, excepting when a few of us went to the store, to a winery and for a short walk down by the river, and one of us hit the golf course. Exactly what we had in mind. It is a house designed for vacation fun, with plenty to do right there: pool, pool table, hot tub, corn hole with just enough grass to play it on, lots of places to sit in sun or shade outside, plenty of comfy places to land inside with the AC keeping it cool. The master bedroom is expansive and the other rooms are plenty big. We didn't end up using all of the recreational opportunities there at the house - we loved the pool too much, and we hit perfect weather, but if it had been cooler or super windy, we would have had plenty to keep us busy. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals except the food! Steve (the owner) was quick to answer all of our questions (and patient too). We booked the place again for next year before we left. What better review is there than that?

Back yard is sheltered from the wind by a 6' block wall fence and has an in ground, resort style swimming pool with a tanning shelf (open May 1 through Labor Day). There is also a hot tub/spa (open year-round) and gas fire pit with seating area under gazebos for shade from the desert sun.
View of the river, hills and breathtaking sunsets. Pool table in the garage. Place the pickle ball net in the driveway, turn on the halogen sport court light and play pickle ball when the sun goes down. Pass through covered parking area for a boat, RV or cars. Home outfitted with a Sonos sound system for quality music in the house and back yard. Located across the street from the Golf Clubhouse, Driving Range, Putting Green, Snack Shack, Tennis Courts and a short walk to the Swimming Pool and Boat Launch.
