One Block from Portage Lake and 2 blocks from a semi-private Lake Michigan Beach. 1 hour from Traverse City, 45 min. to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Clean, newly renovated 3 bedroom cottage with beautiful custom kitchen. Gas, charcoal, and flat outdoor grills. No parties or extra visitors please.

House and garage and everything in it. Fully equipped kitchen, and great outdoor sitting space on deck and screened- in garage. Wonderful fire pit with Adirondack chairs!

Lake Michigan beach is a 5 min walk.
Portage Point Inn is a 10 minute walk and cottage guests can buy a $30 day pass to use the outdoor, covered, heated, salt water infinity pool and hot tub.
Golf Digest ranks Arcadia Bluffs as the 13th best public golf course in the USA; the view from the clubhouse is one of the best in Michigan. A bagpiper plays from 7pm to sunset Thursday-Sunday. You don't have to be a golfer to enjoy the views or a glass of wine at sunset!
Crystal Mountain is located 30 minutes away and has a wonderful spa, golf, and skiing.

My husband Trevor and I are avid golfers and we love Lake Michigan. We open our cottage to families who want to explore Northwest Michigan and who want a clean, upscale cottage experience that is close to the beach. There are a host of activities in the area for families like hiking, boating, beaches, and golf. We can also recommend custom activities like a ship tour, wine tasting, a craft beer tour or a spa day.

We are located just off of Scenic M22 in Onekama, MI. Our cottage is in the perfect location to access Portage Lake which is warmer and shallower but also Lake Michigan which is cooler and deeper. We are a five minute walk from access to each of these lake options. We are also centrally located with an easy 20 minute drive to romantic downtown Manistee or an hour to Traverse City which has extensive activities, shopping and dining experiences. Frankfort, Buelah, Bear Lake, and many other small towns are all accessible via M22.
