Home away from home. You will find yourselves in a peaceful, and cozy place that you will not want to leave. Surrounded by trees, mountains, and lots of fresh air. In the winter, it will be your own winter wonderland, and when the snow is gone it will be your opportunity to explore our nature paradise. Exterior security cameras:
• Front entry: Fixed view of the front entry walkway and driveway.
• Driveway: Fixed view covering vehicle approach/parking only.
• Backyard: Fixed view of the rear yard perimeter.
• Balcony: Fixed view of the balcony area and exterior surroundings.

Exterior cameras are for property security and incident verification, and none in any private areas. Video only, motion-activated.

The rooms were nice. The cleanliness was terrible, mold in draws in the kitchen the bbq grill was unusable. There were earwigs everywhere!

Cleanliness: 0 starsThere were house flies inside the home, and the bathrooms still had hair from previous guests.House: 5 starsThe property itself is beautiful and spacious.Kitchen: 2 starsSome essentials were missing or broken—only a few pots and pans, not enough plates, glasses, or spoons for a group of 16. No proper serving dishes. Also lacked basics like paper towels and trash bags. The owner did deliver some missing items, which we appreciated.Sauna: 5 starsFully functional and relaxing.Swimming Pool: 1 starThe water was dirty and murky—looked muddy and wasn’t usable.Entertainment: 3.5 starsPlenty of games inside and outside. But the trampoline in the backyard was broken, which was disappointing.Safety Concerns:The stairs to the basement/pool level were extremely steep and looked like a handyman job, not something city-approved. There’s also a drop between the two house sections that has an unmarked stair—my wife sprained her ankle crossing it.All A/C units and the sauna were WiFi-controlled—you have to contact the owner to adjust the temperature. The house is covered in cameras. While the outdoor ones are visible, it’s unclear if there are any indoors, which felt intrusive.Overall:The owners were responsive and helpful, and the house is visually impressive. But cleanliness issues, safety hazards, broken features, and missing essentials made it fall short of a 5-star experience.

Repairs needed to make property safe and functional

We were very excited for our 3 night stay in Jeffersonville, but upon arrival and over the next couple hours were quite shocked. The property is all but enmeshed with a construction company nextdoor and behind it and is on a busy roadway. The kids instantly enjoyed the trampoline and playground, though there was some trash scattered about. My husband fell down the very steep stairs to the basement that do not have a banister at the top and turn sharply at the bottom and tweaked his knee. The boards on the deck seem to be buckling and lifting and we quickly decided we would not use that area. My son was excited to stay in the bunk bed in the basement, but he could not stay in there as there was a musty oder of mildew. We went for a swim with the kids, which was really fun, but the floor around the pool is quite slippery and may not be meant for that space. After the swim, I gave the kids a bath, the water smelled very strongly of sulfur (rotten egg) and metallic and seemed to get worse as the water warmed. We decided we would get dinner going, stay the night, but find somewhere else to stay after that. We did not feel comfortable drinking or bathing with the water. The stove top shattered, and a knob was turned on l, stuck, not usable. All that being said the owners were very responsive when we let them know the situation. I really hope the owners fix these issues as the property has some serious potential to be a fun stay.
