This place hits the spot

House very clean with nice amenities in a quiet neighborhood. Good open space through kitchen and shared space areas. Owner very quick to respond.

Independence Day

Stayed with family from LA and Chicago to celebrate Independence Day in Independence with our family from Oregon. The space was perfect for us. Check in info was sent to someone else so I wasn’t able to get in until reaching out to host 1.5 hours after check in. Otherwise everything was great and our kids made memories

All the Things

We stayed here for a Club Volleyball Tournament. This home is seriously one of the best homes I have ever rented. It was so clean, kitchen was fully stocked including food, spices, bags, cleaning supplies, soaps etc. anything you can think of needing, this home had it. The hot tub was wonderful to come to after sitting in a gym all day and for our Volleyball players to relax their muscles from playing. This home felt like “OUR” home. If was comfy, cozy, spacious and wonderful. Michelle was an amazing host. She was quick to answer any questions I had. She even had pods delivered for us to use for the Nespresso Machine. Would stay here in a heartbeat if we are ever in Salem again. The location was just minutes from where we needed to be. Shopping was at arms length. Thank you Michelle!!

Excellent home

Everything was perfect. Very clean, great location, very well equipped kitchen. Master bed is a very thick and comfortable memory foam mattress. Excellent communication with owner. Very pleased with the experience and would unhesitatingly book again.

We loved staying at The Spot this past weekend… the property is amazing and very clean. We appreciated many of the the extras that were nit advertised as well. The host is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful! We will repeat when in town again!

Great Stay!

I had family come to town for a girls wine country weekend. Everyone really enjoyed their stay. The host was responsive, answering questions almost immediately. The kitchen was well stocked, which made it enjoyable to prepare meals. Everything was really cozy and comfortable.

Family gathering

Our family enjoyed staying at this VRBO on a recent trip to a wedding in Salem. The space was large enough to accommodate us all without feeling we were running into each other. The kitchen and master bathroom were especially nice. The stairs and driveway are steep so this would not be a good location for someone who needs assistance with mobility. Communication with the owner was prompt and pleasant.

Great substitute for multiple hotel rooms

We were traveling to a memorial service with family. Hotel rooms for all of us was just as expensive as having a lovely house with a full kitchen and back porch. We had good response from the owners representative. Our only issue was the steep location. We were able to park the two cars on the street, since they were slipping while on the steep driveway. Also there were multiple outdoor steps (?35?) to get into the property. Not the best access for small children or older folks with luggage and groceries. We enjoyed our stay and thank you for the use of your property.

Softball tournament

The house was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the tv had plenty of channels to watch. The only negative was the steepness of the drive way.

Great stay at The Spot

We enjoyed our stay here. It was roomy, kitchen well equipped and the hot tub was an added bonus. The outside area (and games provided) was a great gathering spot - we had a lot of fun playing corn hole! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Nice spot for family gathering

Spacious place , hot tub was enjoyed by all, well equipped kitchen for family meals, but there are lots of steep steps to enter this property- we definitely got a workout loading groceries in for our 4 night stay. Michelle is a great host and responded quickly to our questions throughout the stay.

Nice, but...

The property is nice and in a good location. The spare blankets are just rolled up and stuffed in the closet. (not very appealing) Some of the towels have large stains on them and should be replaced.

Great location

The location is great and the street is quiet. Close to downtown and restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The house is huge so lots of room to spread out. The house is very elevated which offers a great view but that also means steep steps to the front door. If you have any older people or babies with strollers then this may not suit you. The drive is also super steep. Once you get up there the house is on one level which is nice.

Very comfortable family house

Unfortunately, there was damage from a prior renter or I would have given this house 5-stars! The house was well appointed and very comfortable. The back porch and hot tub were quite the hit with my family and the living room was so comfortable for hanging out and playing games, visiting, and watching a few shows on the big screen - the fireplace added some nice warmth too! We had local family come visit for a meal and the dining table easily provided comfortable seating for eight. It was a bit odd to have so much of the owners personal belongings there and the closets locked off with no dresser or side table in one room... other than that and the damage/mess left from the prior renters, all was great - we will definitely be back!
