This is a nice property in a DC area that appears to be in the process of gentrification. It was comfortable and clean. I appreciated the owner's time and commitment. It was nice to have a clean family restaurant right around the corner.

New and clean with all the appropriate appliances for a short or longer stay. The host was hospitable and friendly. Good location for seeing the capital sites with just a short drive.

The place was perfect for a visit to my oldest who lives in the same neighborhood. There’s a great Denny’s around the corner for breakfast and all the sites are a short Uber trip away!

The apartment was not newly renovated. The furniture was old and dirty. There were dents in the drywall. The baseboards were filthy. One of the shower-heads were broken. The showers both needed to be thoroughly disinfected and cleaned. The beds were old and squeaky, and the pillows and blankets were uncomfortable. The neighbors upstairs were loud and stomped on the floors all day and all night until midnight or later. I definitely got what I paid for because it was much cheaper than other places, and I know now to stay in a hotel in D.C. or pay more.

Neighbor hood uncomfortable. Bathrooms too small and master shower head not working well. Dead bugs and live one. Master bedroom window was open and could not lock it. It enough silverware spoons in particular. Bathroom door did not close to the family room - hardware was broken. Bed frame in 2nd bedroom was terrible. It made noise every time you moved a muscle. Rooms only have overhead lighting. Overall unit needs deep cleaned.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Host was more than accommodating for my dog and I, and the property was very nice! The fenced in yard was perfect for the dog and the area it’s in. Will definitely be booking again!

Perfect place for a weekend stay.

Came to Washington for a concert at the 9:30 club. This place is affordable and close to everything. Very convenient for all my needs.

Quiet and convenient

Had a nice and quiet place to stay while we explored DC. Plenty of parking right in front of the unit. Highly recommended place and host, will stay here again. Thank you for everything!

The host was amazing, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the fenced backyard, which was great for our dogs. The bathroom was also nicely updated and one of the highlights of the unit.The area wasn't particularly walkable, though having a Denny's directly behind the property was convenient. There was road construction in front of the unit during our stay, which made parking a bit challenging at times, but we were always able to find a spot nearby.As for the unit itself, there were a few areas that could use some attention. We noticed a slight urine odor, some stains on the couch, and the TV stand appeared bent. The couch was not very comfortable, and the beds were quite squeaky, although they were still comfortable to sleep in. Guests looking for entertainment should note that there was no cable, Roku, or streaming service set up beyond a logged-out Netflix account.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent communication from the host. With a few updates and improvements to the furnishings, this could be an even better place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. It was only a 12-15 Uber ride from the Ronald Regan Building. The property was quaint and clean—a super quiet neighborhood. I definitely would stay here again!

Great communicator and great place

Owner was an amazing and great communicator. All my emails and questions were promptly answered, and my concerns addressed quickly as well. Great place and convenient to get to and from the airport and other locations around DC.

Good value

Good location to sightsee in Washington. Clean upgraded functional home with 2 separate bedrooms and 2 baths. Quiet neighborhood and reasonable walking distance to restaurants and a large Safeway. A Dennys just around the corner. Working with owner very easy. Great value for the money
