Harbor Springs Cottage In The Woods

Cottage on 80 acres surrounded by Nature. Minutes from downtown Harbor Springs.
This cozy cottage in the woods is just minutes from the famous Tunnel of Trees, downtown Harbor Springs, and beaches. It's tucked away in a forest so you'll enjoy lots of peace and quiet. The yard is spacious and welcoming to picnics, the patio provides an area for campfires, and the inside has lots of vintage charm.

The Harbor Cottage is the perfect retreat Up North for making lasting memories. Take the time to enjoy the surrounding nature, the dark skies, and bright stars. Take some time to walk one of the nearby trails on our property.

A few things to note:

- Limited cooking: air fryer (essentially a countertop convection oven), microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric hot pad, small refrigerator. PLEASE plan accordingly. Thank you

- Because of the remote setting, WiFi and cable tv are not available. We do have a flatscreen and dvd player.

- Charcoal and firewood provided.

-Owners live on property (across the field) but do not intrude and setting is very private.

Very nice place, felt at home as soon as we got there. The host (Karen) was very accommodating and kind.The area is very beautiful, with lots to do and see. We will be back good Lord willing.

As described Very Nice cottage in the woods! Is nicely decorated and comfortable. We spent most of our time out exploring the area but were quite comfortable in the very quiet setting. Though we did not cook in the kitchen it seemed well stocked. Parking/getting in and out is simple. The owner is gracious and responsive to communications. All-in-all a very nice experience.

No title needed…wonderful place to stay!

Pictures and description match our experience exactly. Fun location just northeast of Harbor Springs… a very whimsical cottage!!! The cottage is very clean, lots of games, and DVDs. The cottage is very bright, even being surrounded by plenty of trees. The front porch was a great place to sit in the backyard. Seating was wonderful with the grills and Chimenea. Surprisingly enough, no bugs!!

Truly a little slice of heaven.

This is the most perfect cottage for a quiet getaway while still be close enough to drive to many restaurants, shopping, and hiking trails. We spend most of our time in harbor Springs which was only a 15-minute drive. Beautifully decorated, well stocked, and clean. Everything and anything you could ask for in a small and comfy atmosphere. The best hosts we have ever had. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful cottage

We had a great time staying at this property, the cottage is so beautiful and cozy, the location is great too, it’s inside the woods but close to the town and many other places. Karen and Roland were very attentive during our stay, we’re definitely coming back!

Adorable cottage in a perfect setting! The view of beautiful trees outside all the windows and the cutest vintage decor inside. You feel welcomed the minute you arrive and will look forward to the day you can return!

Peaceful, Great Location

This cottage is just as it's listed - cozy, quiet, and comfortable and in a great location. We used it as a home base for time in Mackinaw City, Petosky, Harbor Springs and many points in between. Karen and Roland are great hosts and offered many suggestions of things to do or see. I hope to be back again in the future!

Perfect little getaway

We had a lovely time. Property was very nice, clean and quiet. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the hiking trails. Would definitely recommend.

Cute cottage in the country

We loved staying here. It was so quiet, the surroundings so pretty, with nature all around. The cottage is very cute and represents cottages of the past. All conveniences were provided though as well as a very complete list of things to do in the surrounding area. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck for breakfast and curling up with a good book in the sunroom on the long cushioned window bench. We hiked in the woods that are part of the property and enjoyed the quiet and peace. This is a great place to rest and let go of stress.

Perfect cottage in the woods

My daughter and I had a great time staying here. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. Karen and Roland were very welcoming and had open communication with me and made sure we had everything that we needed for a wonderful stay . I would love to bring my husband up to stay sometime . I would definitely book this cottage again .

Comfortable and Peaceful Stay

From the moment we turned in the drive you could tell this was a great choice. We stayed here for a couple of days while visiting the area for our wedding anniversary. This small cottage in the woods was perfect for two people and the attention to all the details was apparent. It was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and quiet. The attention the owners have given to making this a special place for their guests is obvious. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Quiet and vintage getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cottage #4. We loved the cozy and vintage feel. This is a great place to step away to take time to enjoy nature. We hiked the property, golfed and enjoyed some amazing food. The cabin was extremely clean and the hosts are very kind and helpful.

A step back in time

This cabin was so cute! It was like stepping back in time to the 1920 and 30s. If your looking for a place to get away from it all, this is the house. The bed was comfy. It was close to downtown harbor springs with the best chia latte I have ever had. The house was very clean and the hosts were very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing stay in the woods

This property is perfect for a "get away" from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We greatly appreciated the solitude of this little house in the woods. The house is tidy and warm and close enough to all of the things that we wanted to see and do. From here, we toured the Tunnel of Trees, visited Harbor Springs, Petoskey and even Mackinaw City. Great 3 night stay.
