Hot water is a big issue

We had 5 people on our trip. Only 1 person was able to get a hot shower per day. Otherwise we had to swap out 2 min showers and even then all 5 could not have hot water, maybe 3. The house was very dated with the exception of the bathrooms. Kitchen cabinets wouldn’t close, oven from the 70’s - didn’t heat food on the bottom side well, bedroom drawers warped and the bottom falling out, missing hardware, difficult to use. Bedroom missing the tv (remote and stand were there). Upstairs tv batteries were dead. No trash bags other than the first one provided. Upstairs shower could not spray effectively and it was pouring out the bottom spout. The first message we sent about a generic question was never answered so basically assumed we couldn’t communicate via the app. Overall cleanliness of bathrooms were fine, but carpet, drapes, corners, bedding, closets dusty and some cob webs. Overall just not great. Furniture on the porches were not great. One plastic chair and one odd fabric cushion chair that is not meant for the outdoors. Definitely not somewhere I wanted to sit to relax. One of the kitchen chairs was broken. The pool and hot tub were very nice. We loved the walk down to Carnelian Bay. The general area was very desirable. Coffee shop on the water was cute. If I had nowhere else to go I would come back for the location, but after staying at 3-4 vacation homes a year for the last few years this was definitely on the lower end of quality that I have ever stayed in.

Unit Needs mainly

Upstairs guest bathroom was dirty behind the toilet seat. I think the knobs are for a bidet and the inside crevice is yucky. The dining room table and a couple of the chairs are very wobbly. And the weather striping on the sliding glass door in the master bedroom is coming off. One of us tripped on it. The AC doesn’t appear to work. If it does please include instructions. AC is mentioned in the vrbo description of the unit.

NO HOT WATERR!!!

The experience was terrible i have never booked through someone and we had to shower/bath in cold water and we was staying in/near lake tahoe which was cold and snowing. We came in on Wednesday I called that same day/night about the hot water issue they couldn’t send noone out until the next day. Tuesday came the guy came out and said something needed to be replaced but he turned it up so we can at least get 5-10 of shower time until plumber comes out on Wednesday. Wednesday come and plumber comes out said he fixed it tried shower that night still didnt work we had to go shower somewhere else. Thursday i called and texted and called stating about the water still isnt working it is COLD!!! Here it is now Saturday at this point im super upset cause i have little ones and im not going to keep going somewhere else to get cleaned up in which i paid for this place. I called and informed them i need a reimbursement of somekind at least 30% We are gonna have issues of my cost or something the lady stated she will pass on the office manager and someone will call back. GUESS WHAT NEVER GOT THAT CALL AND we are now leaving and we didnt stay their at that property Saturday due to the cold water issues and other things tv freezes only 1 tv in the whole entire home. This was a complete disaster staying at this location

First time to Tahoe!

It was clean but needed an area for food storage. A cabinet in the dining room would be great for food!! The hot rub didn't work, which was irritating, as it was not working prior to our arrival. There was no wood in the woods storage area. We got our own, but would have been nice. The parking was ample for our 2 vehicles. It was easy to get around, area was quiet. I would recommend to others for a reasonable get away!

Great location

This is a great location for a condo not right on lake Tahoe. It's in the woods and it's just a 5 min walk to Carnelian Beach. And just a drive to all Lake Tahoe has to offer. We walked to the beach multiple times. The condo itself was well equipped and pretty big. It could use some updates but the newly updated bathrooms are really nice. There are lots of stairs, so be prepared to get a good workout going from the kitchen to the bedroom.
