Great Stay

We had a great stay at this home. It was very clean, and had the amenities as listed. The host(ess) was very responsive. Very convenient to get to our event. Plan to stay again next time.

great house , nice lay out , only draw back we rented on the basis of it having a private pool the add doesent tell you they lock it at dark so no swimming when you want we were in town for a funeral and never got to use the pool so sad.

Easy walk to downtown

Nice to be able to walk downtown to enjoy the Christmas activities and restaurants without having to find parking. Also close to the Christmas Parade. The home was very clean and had plenty of kitchen supplies. Highly recommend if staying in the area.

Excellent place to stay!!

I loved my stay! Quiet, clean, close to everything and in a great setting. Pool and area were a great bonus as well. I am an avid cyclist and this put me in the heart of cycling country right out my front door. Five stars all the way!!!

Perfect place for our girls getaway. Location was great. In a very quiet neighborhood and just a short walk downtown. Check-in was easy. I texted her when we arrived and she immediately responded with the code to enter.The house was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and more and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The queen bed was way too firm for my liking but the king bed was perfect, (I’m used to a very soft memory foam mattress) and there were plenty of pillows.The pool was perfect for the four of us to float around in and relax. My only disappointment was that there were no lounge chairs, as pictured in the listing. We would definitely recommend a stay here and look forward to returning.

Great location with a pool

Walking distance to downtown Mt Dora. The home was extremely clean and maintained the original style very well! The beds were very comfortable. The pool was the perfect size and very clean as well. Will definitely stay again next time we visit.

Very nice stay!

Very impressed by the cleanliness and how much room we had. Comfortable beds. Nice pool and screen porch area. Fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Love this place.

Thoughtful host who has the important things on hand, like coffee! Very comfy beds, all conveniences covered in a cute, well-organized rental. There were four of us and we had everything we needed and were very comfortable.

Girls get away

The house was great! Very clean, well equipped, in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk into town. Tonys Chowder Cafe is along the walk and absolutely worth a visit!! Did not use the pool since the water was a bit too cold for us Florida girls. But enjoyed our morning coffees on the front screened porch. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

My wife and I had a very nice weekend stay at this property. It's a short 10 walk to downtown Mount Dora which was so nice not having to find parking. Enjoyed great restaurants, shopping and drinks on the lake. Bobbi was easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed. We will be back on our next trip to the area.

Nice place

Nice, comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood. The only complaint I have is I was not told prior to my stay that the pool was unavailable due to its pending renovation. But overall, Bobbi was very pleasant to deal with and the place was comfortable.

Excellent location and very clean

Pluses: walking to downtown was a breeze, quite neighborhood, unit was very clean, pool was nice, adequate kitchen supplies, the host was very responsive to any issues. Things that could be improved on: soap and shampoo in both baths not just one, detailed instructions on how the door locked and unlocked, backup batteries for the TV remote, typed Wi-Fi password not hand written.

Historic District home close to downtown Mt. Dora

If you like to bike or walk you will additional enjoyment with this location as the town has made it simple to travel to the lake, park, shopping. The home is located in an historic home area and its enjoyable to see such unique landscapes. Other commerce is also very close. We enjoyed the house which has all the amenities needed, except an outside grill, which we didn't really miss.

Excellent property with easy entry procedures. Property manager was easy to communicate with regarding check-in. Easy to connect to internet/TV.. The only thing we questioned was what to do on departure. We stripped sheets off the beds, left the towels hang to dry, and put trash in outside bin. Hopefully nothing else was needed as we found no "check out" instructions. Would certainly recommend to others. Easy walk to downtown Mt Dora!

Beautiful house

Beautiful 2 bedroom home with pool.The pool wasn’t heated so I didn’t venture in. Weather wasn’t the best in February as far as getting in the pool. We could walk to downtown Mount Dora which we loved! Great shops and restaurants there. The house was furnished with everything we needed. The host even bought a grill so we could cook out which was so nice! The laundry room was shared with other guests on the property. Everyone was very nice to us and our dog!

Perfect getaway

This place was wonderful. I give it a 9.5 rating. They lost a 1/2 point for single ply toilet paper and 1/2 point for coffee a year old upon arrival. Other than that, the place was perfect for a quick stay. Lightd on during check in, very welcoming. Water pressure was strong. Had a cigar in the very nice maintained back, where we met Barb, mom of owener. Very pleseant to speak with and was nice to give more coffee for next day. Downside is when Barb did Laundry and had a whole conversation while napping and voice bled through door in kitchen which is tied to laundry room. We came to do a craigcat tour and were pleseantly surprised to find out this was light up Mount Dora. Greal location for this as we were only 6 blocks away to walk. Highly recommend this place

A Perfect Stay

We arrived here long after dark to find welcoming lights on in and through-out the residence, to guide us to the correct place and around the inside our temporary home away from home. No fumbling around in the dark looking for door knobs or light switches. Very thoughtful, it made a great first impression on us after a long day of traveling. Located in a quiet residential area, yet close to the center of town, the house was spic and span clean both inside and out, it was very comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. We found lots of storage space in every single room. I was happy to see the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils and I felt very comfortable cooking there the times we decided to eat in. Our hostess even supplied a tote bag to take to the store to buy groceries !!! The pool was crystal clear at all times and inviting even at night with the subdued landscape lighting. I found Bobbie to be an excellent and thoughtful hostess and wish her many, many years of success in the business. Would I recommend this rental ? Hands down, YES !!! Absolutely !!!

Horrible Experience

I should have knew something was wrong, 30 mins before arrival I receive a message telling me that the pool close at sunset. I ask the host was this a community pool and she said yes it’s shared. On VRBO it’s not listed and a community pool. The decors in the house was dated. The host deactivated the code cause my kids came over to shower. I end up leaving the next morning and had to get another house further away. Horrible Horrible experience, I do not recommend this property at all !
