Enjoyed the three levels of living space. Each level has a bathroom (3) and a kitchen and fireplace on two levels. The boys ages 12, 6, and 4 enjoyed the foosball table and games provided. Fireplaces and fire pit have electric timers, so it was safe and convenient. The view of the lake and mountains are spectacular and we enjoyed all the water craft on the lake!

Awesome Our family loves Serenity on Cedar so much that we have now stayed here three years!!! in a row. We have always loved everything about this cabin and solitude and lake location.Our host, Carol, makes sure we are fully informed about everything. Carol helps to make our visits remarkable and worry free. The cabin is clean and well maintained and fully stocked. The two decks offer excellent views of the calm lake and the smokey mountains. They also offer a large hot tub and hammock and fire pit. The children really enjoyed the canoe, kayaks, peddle boat, and Jon boat. We left very relaxed.

Comfortable and homey.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It was so cozy and inviting, even better than we had hoped for. Check-in was a breeze, and our host was super responsive, making sure everything was just right. Carol went above and beyond by adding some lovely Christmas decorations that really made our family feel at home.The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful setting was perfect for unwinding. It felt so nice to be tucked away in a secluded spot right above the lake—exactly what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle!Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience! We truly enjoyed every moment in this beautiful cabin. The thoughtful amenities really made our stay special, especially the well-stocked kitchen with all the supplies and spices we needed. And oh my, the hot tub was just amazing! Having kayaks and a pedal boat available was such a fun bonus too. We couldn’t recommend this cabin more!

Serenity on Cedar was a nice spot for our family. Separate area downstairs was perfect for the younger ones. Quite the incline on entrance drive, glad we had good weather! Good location close to trails to the south and Whee/Sylva to the north.

Best Thanksgiving trip ever

The property was even better than expected. We've been going on trips to the mountains for several years and this is easily the nicest place we've ever stayed. It actually sleeps the number of people the listing states, the boats are in excellent condition, the kitchen is well-appointed, and the hot tub is nice and big. It's also nice and secluded so you can enjoy peace and privacy while only being around 20 minutes from grocery stores.

Perfect Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay so much. We had a family of 8 staying in this accommodating cabin. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and loved that we could all eat at the large dining table together. There was plenty of room to spread out and get alone time if needed. We really enjoyed the outdoor space as well as fishing off the dock, pedal boating and canoeing. We ventured out to Cashiers one day and visited downtown, Whitewater falls and Silver Run falls.

Serene and Beautiful

This was our second stay at the peaceful and quiet Serenity on Cedar cabin for our family reunion. We plan on returning next year. The cabin is very clean and perfect for all of our needs. The children love the spacious cabin and the hot tub and the multiple deck levels. The lake and mountain views from the deck are spectacular. The kitchen and dining area meets all of the needs of our family. Carol is an excellent host and is very responsive. We love her for how she makes us feel welcome and how she maintains a clean cabin. .

Fourth of July vacations

We stayed in this property for the Fourth of July weekend and this house exceeded our expectations the views were amazing and the house was very well equipped with things for everyone in our family to enjoy the owner Carol was supper helpful from beginning to end would recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain get away!

Nice Getaway

We enjoyed the house and the view of the lake even though the construction across the way was going on while we were there. It was nice to have 3 levels - one for each family to use and the extra kitchen helped to supplement the well supplied main kitchen. We had a great time.

The cabin was equipped with everything our family needed! A few minor glitches when we first arrived but Carol immediately had the issue taken care of for us within 12 hours. Immaculate and pristine cabin! We’re already thinking about when we can visit next!

Secluded Paradise

This cabin turned out to be perfect for our weekend wedding stay. Our niece was married at Ladyhawk Castle and this cabin was ideal. The lake view from the balcony gorgeous along with the fire pit. It made for some memorable nights. The kids enjoyed the hot tub as well. The mountains are beautiful surrounding the well equipped cabin. We loved our stay. The owner was very helpful in giving directions and other information. We would highly recommend this vacation home!

Peaceful and Serene

Our family stayed at Serenity on Cedar for a family reunion being held in the area. The cabin was very clean and perfect for our needs. It had everything; being well equipped and spacious. The children loved the televisions and the hot tub. The view from the deck overlooking the lake was awesome and relaxing. Carol was an excellent host and very responsive.
