Cozy and pet friendly historic home located in the heart of downtown Frederick. The house is just a block and a half from New Market Street, minutes to Hood College, and all of downtown Frederick within a 10-15 minute walk. This charming, 1901 historic home is both comfortable and upgraded with a remodeled, fully stocked kitchen, and stunning brand new bathroom. Modern amenities, include: high speed Wifi, smart TV, coffee station, luxury mattresses, air conditioning, and air purifiers. Free street parking.

Our host was pleasant and welcoming. Everything was clean, and the coffee came in clutch in the morning. The location was awesome too. We parked and walked everywhere.

Extremely clean and comfortable accommodations. Very close to all the fabulous restaurants of downtown Frederick. Frederick has wonderful shops and many activities to enjoy within walking distance of the cottage! The host is quite responsive.

House was clean and inviting.Beds very comfortable. Washer and dryer a nice feature to have. I just have one suggestion for the kitchen- teaspoons would be appreciated. The host was easy to communicate with and the whole rental transaction went well.

I stayed here one year ago on the same weekend. This place is absolutely amazing. A block away from restaurants and local shopping. This is home is very clean and well taken care of. I most definitely plan on staying here again next year. I am truly happy staying at this home.

Such a charming and well located home. It made it so easy for us and our film crew to get to Antietam, Gettysburg and Fredericksburg. We have been to Frederick many times, but this home made it even better. You'll have everything you need here! And you can see we brought our furry kids too!

I stayed with my two sisters at this lovely home in Frederick. It was, clean, comfortable and the perfect location. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to spend time near downtown Frederick.

This is a beautifully restored and furnished small house right off of the downtown area, making the downtown coffeeshops and restaurants all easily within walking distance. We were there on very hot days and the A/C kept us very comfortable.

Beautiful charming home!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was amazing and perfectly located. We had an easy time finding parking and overall loved our time there. The coffee/keurig machine didn’t work properly but the tea selection was good enough that it didn’t matter much. We can’t wait to visit again!

A Truly Magical Stay on Dill Ave

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed—the host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. The house itself is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort, something that feels increasingly rare today. Every detail, from the beautifully restored bathroom to the cozy, stylish bedrooms, was immaculate and inviting.The vibes in this home were exceptional—I truly had one of the best nights of my life here. Dill Ave has a special kind of magic, and this property captures it completely. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of my next visit.

My wife, Rebecca and I (Ed) are natives of Maryland and Virginia and we absolutely love Frederick because its the town were we got married. We are currently serving overseas with the U.S. Government and enjoy traveling around the world. When we are in the States, we really love visiting historic towns and Rebecca makes it a point to visit as many antique stores as possible. We travel with our little doxie named Clementine, which is why we believe in making our home pet-friendly.

The house is nestled in a quiet area of Frederick, just a block and a half walking distance from New Market Street. It is possible to walk everywhere in downtown from the Cottage. There are quiet neighborhood walks all within minutes, including the small Memorial Park and the larger Baker Park and Baker Park dog park. Carroll Creek trails run through Baker Park and into downtown offering a scenic way to see the town and quickly taking guests to the breweries off Carroll Creek.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Rebecca and I really wanted to make sure we kept various historic elements of the +100 year house like the wood floors and trim. We also decorated the house with primitive, americana, and federalist style decor to ensure the house didn't loose its historic touch.
We did remodeled the kitchen and bathroom to give our guests a bit of upscale experience. The bedrooms are equipped with high-end mattresses and linens for your convenience. A goodnights rest at any place you stay is important and we are ensuring you will experience that.
