Comfy beach house located in Port Isabel with beautiful view of the channel. South Padre Island is only a 5 minute ride from here. Restaurants nearby include Pelican Station. Grocery stores like Walmart or HEB also nearby. Free WIFI. $90 dollars are charged by the community of Long Island Village to use their facilities including the pool, indoor pool, golf area, tennis courts, basketball court, dinning area, heated pool is also included. We talk English/Spanish. Please ask in advance if booking is available as we are listed in other booking pages also I will normally answer in less than 10-20 minutes

Great Property

Very nice and clean house. Host was easy to contact and very responsive to our needs. House was clean and well stocked with all necessities. View from deck was incredible!!

Cool Canal View

A great space for relaxing and enjoying the SPI area. The deck overlooking the canal was superb, watching barges, the fishing community, and dolphins travel through. Pelicans and other shore birds added to the experience. Even did some fishing off the deck with undersize catches. The house was great, some evidence of a new listing with accessories that could be improved. We did notify them of some needed repairs, but nothing that would lower a 5 star rating. Beds slept well, the kitchen was quality. Excellent master bedroom shower. Note the add on resort fees, we enjoyed playing the 18 hole par 3 golf course. We'd stay again if we come to the area.

The stay wasn’t great when we got the the ac wasn’t working and to wait till 9pm to have it fixed. The disherwasher couldn’t be used because the garage disposal didn’t work so if I ran dish washer it flood the floor with water the home needs some maintenance

Overall the dissatisfied!!!

For some more formal this place had more rules than a hotel and the washer and dryer was not working at all. The total cost of this rental was more than what I pay initially there was an additional charge of $100 to use the location amenities, which I was not pleased about, the total was over $500 after that. Neither Vrbo was not able to assist me with this additional charge.

Did not liked the fact that hat the Deck had the only 2 fans broken or nonexistent weather was too hot and could not enjoy the outside at night. Washer and dryer broken, I was told that it had been fixed twice broken by other renters (Not me) already and was told that there were laundry facilities for 3 Dollars a wash, it's not the $3.00 it's because the descriptions included this amenity and was expected to avoid inconvenience to stop enjoying the rental to go wash some where else. I tried to work around that, definitely would not like to experience it again, for that cost.

Excellent location

We stayed for 5 weeks. The views were the best part. You can see all the boat traffic, birds, dolphins right from the deck. It was very interesting watching what would go by. We also had a juvenile eagle visit most days just looking in at us from its perch on the boat dock. I wish I could share pictures in the review! The master bed was very comfortable and we commmented on that often. I meant to check out the brand. We didnt use the other bed so I cant attest to it. Brando was extremely helpful, nice, and responsive from the moment I looked into booking. We happened to meet Brando and his mother and they were both really nice in person also. But they weren't intruding at all. We only met thrm because they needed to bring us the post office keys. Which Brando went out of the way to get from the post office so we could have our mail forwarded We have stayed at LIV before and loved it and the people in the village. This properrty was even better than our last one. It is very private since it isnt on the canal with houses across the way. We loved our stay so much we are closing on our own place there in a few weeks. So renter beware, you might not want to leave.
