The Contentment Cottage was fully renovated and an addition completed in January 2023. Come enjoy the newly renovated spaces and create lasting memories. Guests will experience a restful retreat with vaulted ceilings throughout the home, lots of natural light, hardwood floors, spacious and well equipped kitchen and entertaining area, 2 covered porches, NEW fire pit installed in private backyard. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is a short walk to Mallery Park, Village and the SSI Pier. FLETC Welcome & month long renters welcome- contact owner for discounts.

The host was quite accommodating. The property was so clean and well stocked. (Except all hand soaps containers were empty. Oops!) Parking is minimal for a house that holds over 6 people. Luckily, that was not an issue for us!

The house was spotless and smelled so clean. My daughter LOVED the bunk room. Master bed was super comfy too. We loved the area, the neighbors were extremely friendly and we even had a little kitty welcome us and try to come inside it was such a comfortable stay and we hope to come back again one day!

The house is truly wonderful. The decorations and furniture comfortable and also beautiful. The covered back porch and fire pit in the backyard made relaxation time very nice indeed. The house is centrally located providing a nice walk to the pier and also other areas we wanted to visit. Christan went above and beyond to describe to me ahead of our visit the contents of the very well stocked kitchen so I would know what I needed to bring to make our Thanksgiving dinner (which was basically just the food since the kitchen is so well equipped!) Also, this may be a weird thing to comment on, but we appreciated the fact that there were plenty of towels - It was really nice to have as many bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths as we needed during our stay!

Great property for family trip!

This is a beautiful home! Clean and fresh! The house has several different areas for family and friends to enjoy their time visiting. Every amenity just as described. The host was informative and easy to communicate with before, during and our stay. Close to all the fun! We’ll definitely stay again!

The cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Took my family of four (ages 1-9) and it was very family friendly. No stairs to fight with, toys and books for kids on site. Big open space and nice backyard for kids to play. A great central location to enjoy SSI, nice neighborhood to take a walk in. The owner was gracious and checked on us before and after check in. Very easy to communicate with and extra helpful. We will stay again.

Enjoyable stay…AGAIN!

2nd time we’ve stayed here and the quality of the home is top notch and has more accessories & amenities than you could ever need for your stay. Back porch is perfect for any time of day but especially the mornings and evenings. Location is beyond convenient.

Great stay!

We enjoyed 2 weeks here and would stay again! The house is as advertised and then some! Beautifully renovated. Quiet location within walking/biking distance to get everywhere. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Clean, Comfortable, Exceptional

We will be back! My partner and 3 kids had an excellent stay for 5 days in Aug. 2025. The home was impeccably clean which is always number one on my list. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the ice machine made plentiful ice for our hot, hot week. The beds were comfortable and the primary bedroom, bathroom, and walk in closet is huge!The attention to detail - bright and plentiful lighting, cards and other games, and comfy outside furniture -- was exceptional. The included beach towels were much appreciated and saved us packing space! Close to the beach, restaurants, Neptune pool -- We rented a golf cart and easily and quickly navigated around town.Thanks for the stay and the memories we were able to make.

Beautiful home in perfect location

We had a wonderful stay here and the house was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. We would defiantly book here again. It was quiet and the neighbors were kind. We brought our bikes and with the location we could get everywhere quickly.

Beautiful Cottage

The pictures are on point! Great layout, well appointed and clean. Christan is a great host! We highly recommend especially if you have children the kids loved the double bunk bed bedroom.

Wonderful new home in a quiet setting

We very much enjoyed the stay at this well appointed property. Property is centrally located to the attractions. All of the appliances were top notch and many amenities were above and beyond other homes we have stayed in. Great communication from the owner. Will keep this property on our list to visit again.

Perfect 20th Anniversary Trip

Planned a long weekend getaway for the hubby and kids to celebrate the end-of-school, Memorial Day, and our 20th wedding anniversary.
