Very clean home. Owners were very nice. Close to a lot like downtown, mini golf, Holland, and other towns. We had an issue with the tv, owner came immediately and fixed it. The only complaint is one of the queen size beds had plywood under it. Every time you moved it made a popping noise. A box spring for the bed would be a lot better. Other than that it was an amazing experience!! We’d definitely recommend the VRBO to others.

Gary promptly communicated with me. The basement space was very clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. And the location was perfect for a leisurely walk into town.

This is an apartment in tthe basement of a single home. The property is in a quiet wooded neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac but still walking distance to town.The property was spotless, well stocked, well organized and the hosts thought of nice welcoming details including snacks and cold drinks in the fridge. We could tell that the hosts had a lot of experience running their property. The hosts live above the apartment. Gary happened to see us a few times as we were coming in and out and he was friendly, helpful and accomodating. The only down side was that at least one of the queen beds was very uncomfortable. The mattress seemed thin and was squeaky.

Very clean and all around great place to stay. Close to downtown. Next time we will bring some coffee grounds to make a nice pot of coffee every morning.No complaints except a little noise upstairs. Sound tiles would be great on the bedroom ceilings.

Clean apartment/great location

Our family just had a great stay at Gary and Mary’s house July 4th weekend. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. There was even a s’mores kit left for us at check-in. The location is great, very close to town and a short drive to Oval Beach. Gary was very responsive.

Overall a great trip but not exactly what i expected

For some reason I assumed this property was on the water. It was a nice and clean place but it is very expensive for 2 nights. It is a basement unit so it was a little dark. did enjoy walking downtown on Saturday evening. It is a very convenient location. The hosts were very nice to let us park motorcycles in the garage.

Very clean and in peaceful area next to nature preserve just outside of town. Walking distance to town and my teen boy travelers able to bike to a lot of places. Hosts were in and out and we had no issue. Just need to understand that you are sharing their home with them.

Girls getaway

The basement apartment was nicely furnished and the hosts were attentive. The location was good as we go between different towns in the area and not just to Saugatuk. Saugatuk is walkable (I would guess 15 - 30 minutes to the edge of town depending how fast you walk) but as we were shopping we didn't want to walk that far back with packages.

Centrally located basement apartment

Great location and very clean. Communication with owner was easy and door code made it easy to get into the basement apartment. The two rooms are on the small side and the beds are a little hard. It would be great to have more dishes as well (very few cups) Overall, I would easily stay here again.

Work Get Away

We spent 3 night stay in Saugatuck, Michigan.It was wonderful time away with dune rides, dinner, with mini pedis, and shopping. The host nice, the lodging was clean. All four of us were extremely pleased.

Quiet Respite

Our stay was quiet and relaxing. The accommodations were perfect and it's in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path, yet close enough to get anywhere in 5 minutes. The place was immaculate and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Saugatuck Weekend Getaway

Spent a long weekend at this property and we were not disappointed. The property is as listed. Is very clean. And the hosts provided little extras that made you feel welcome. The host communicated well, providing needed information regarding our stay and check out process. Potential guests should be aware that when more than 2 guests stay at this property, there is an additional charge that is in addition to the stated daily fee.

Perfect mini getaway

Convenient Location, Well Equipped, and Very Clean
