Welcome to Sailors' Haven

Brand new interior! Modern, luxurious 2 bedroom, each with attached En Suites. Fully equipped kitchen. Directly across from the downtown Marina, in the "Sailing Capital" of North Carolina. Shopping, fresh seafood, pubs, exquisite dining and art galleries all within a 2 minute walk.
The space
Summer of 2021, my sweet Mother/Partner in crime, and I took the old Sail repair shop which was a completely open interior without any walls, and together designed a 2 bedroom cottage. We added 3 bathrooms, open concept living room kitchen, laundry and entrance! So, absolutley EVERYTHING besides the original hardwood floors is new! We have bikes for your sunrise ride 2 blocks to the Bean to get your morning coffee, and kayaks for your sunset float before you settle in for the night at Sailors' Haven on The Neuse River. Come be our guest! Completely new interior construction in 2022.

We stayed here for a week while our son went to camp. Loved the quiet town, comfortable place to stay and walking everywhere we went. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful clean house in the heart of Oriental - walk to everythjng

Beautifully decorated house, very clean and neat. Loved the decor and the location was incredible! Right next to the wine bar and bakery, just a few short blocks walk to the local coffee shop, brewery, restaurants, park, and marina. Loved learning of the history of the house. Great little place in such a lovely little town.

Great stay!

Our stay at Sailors’ Haven was fantastic! The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed! We especially appreciated the coffee supply and laundry detergent! The location was great too! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Oriental.

Great place!!

My family and I (including our puppy) had a great time staying at Sailors’ Haven. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided. The home is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean and fully stocked. Lisa and her mom have done a great job on the house and are great hosts.We 100% recommend it and we can’t wait to go back.

Amazing spotless place!

This was one of the best experiences we’ve had with a vacation rental. Sailor’s Haven is not only the cutest place you could find in a beautiful small town, but it was extremely clean and full of small details from the Host that impressed us. An A+ experience overall.

We just spent a wonderful few days at Sailors Haven. Beautifully appointed and full of thoughtful features! Only sorry it wasn’t warm enough to use the fire pit or kayaks. Hope to return!

Fabulous rental

Property was immaculate, and incredibly well thought out and stocked. Everything we needed was available to us, including small incidentals, like skewers to make smores!! Kids loved having the games, fishing poles, bikes and kayaks available to us. Overall, one of our best rentals ever!! Location was great too, super short walk to shops and restaurants.

Beautifully decorated and well stocked.

The home was great, very clean and well stocked! Great location as well. Only down side was that this is a 2 bedroom home and not 3 bedroom as listed in the write up. The living room/kitchen is the 3rd sleeping area which isn’t ideal while traveling with other couples. Aside from this the home was perfect.

The stay at Sailor's Haven was just what our family needed. You can tell from the moment you enter that it's your home away from home. We have never experienced staying at a place of this caliber, probably never will. You literally have everything needed to have an an awesome stay and the beauty of this rental and the details that were taken to ensure an awesome vacation are just truly amazing. We would highly recommend staying if you're in the area and would definitely stay again in the future. If your looking for quiet, clean, gorgeous and a place that offers pretty much everything this is the place!!

Rocking Sister Getaway

The property looked exactly like the pictures. It was well maintained, smelled good, was incredibly clean and well stocked. Lisa and Clay couldn’t have been more attentive. Our Keurig wasn’t working properly and within an hour we had a new one, two more boxes of k-cups and a $15 gift certificate to The Bean. How awesome is that?! Definitely recommend and would go back.
