Welcome to Rockleys, a fully renovated vintage motel! During your stay, please enjoy our freshly tiled bathrooms, coffee area & bistro table within each room. Conveniently located between our units are park benches for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the beautiful Colorado weather. Coming mid-spring 2022, head across the parking lot to our brand new outdoor space. Our area will be equipped with fire pits, seating arrangements and a water feature. We look forward to your stay!

We did not feel safe at this property. The door did not seem secure because we could see through a crack and it did not have a sufficient lock on the inside. We also felt that our car would not be safe in the parking lot

Nothing but issues!

Property is NOT as described in the listing.Gave us 1 washcloth and 2 towels for 2 people staying 7 days. Door had daylight all the way around.TV remote had no batteries. Digital for entry only worked half the time. No private patio. No view.Tried to work out some issues with the property manager, but she WOULD NOT RETURN MESSAGES OR CALL. She even told another employee she didn't want any problems. Nightmare of a stay.

Stayed for Red Rocks Shows

Great place for the price. Secure location that is a nice distance from Red Rocks Amphitheater and down town Denver.

Lakewood Stay

It was nice. Location not the best, but the room and staff itself were good. The email said it was on Denver when the location was actually in Lakewood.

Lovely Place!

This vintage motel was perfect for my stay while attending a convention nearby. It was only 12 minutes from the location and so clean, private, and safe too! The owner and manager do not check VRBO very often and so after sending multiple messages I finally had to flag down someone who works at the venue in front to ask how to get into my room. Once the fiasco was sorted it was easy to get in my room and take a nap, just wish it hadn't taken so long to get ahold of someone! Will definitely want to stay here again if the communication issue gets better.

I really hate to leave this review but i feel transparency is in order for anyone planning on staying here.When i arrived the keypad to access the room was not working, so they moved me to another room. The first 3 days of my stay were fine until the 4th day i was awoken to a contractor and his guys working on the fence outside of my room. I was not made aware they were going to be there and got a call about an hour later from the host asking me to let the contractors into the room to use one of the outlets while i was out. I reluctantly agreed and went back to the room to let them in. I packed all of my belongings and took them with me. I do not know these men and was not willing to leave my things while i was out sightseeing.I came back that night to find they were still working, using the electricity from the room and playing music. I promtly called the host asking her multiple times if i can switch to another room. She had just told me to unplug their extension cord from the wall and close the door. When i got to the room i noticed all the towels were on the floor, there were ants all over the bathroom floor and dirt was tracked all over the place from the contractors using the restroom. I called the host again numerous times and was sent to voicemail.I understand the contractors were doing their job and they actually cleaned the room and took the towels home to wash.Maybe this is a one off because the host seemed like a sweetheart. I just felt left out to dry
