Loved the property!!

We really enjoyed having the large open family room and kitchen combined with having our own private rooms and bathrooms with privacy. We also didn’t realize Copper Mountain was so close and skied there a couple of days. Would definitely stay there again!

Breckenridge Winter Stay

For sure, this is only about our stay in the winter. Don't use this review as input to a summer stay. Home is a lovely home with great views and well equipped and stocked for multiple families. The house had humidifiers, a booster seat, PUH-lenty of kitchenware, extra blankets, spices, and much more. Nice welcoming gifts of coffee and bourbon from the homeowner. Not sure we were for want of anything. There were a few things we think would've helped our stay a bit. 1) Even though Breckenridge is at 9100' elevation, the house is at 9800'. While not a big difference, it did make us a bit more sensitive to elevation/altitude issues. Fortunately, we had brought oxygen with us. 2) Unexpectedly, we had 24"-30" of snow mid-week and while the house book says the plow driver will come with at least 4" of snowfall, we finally saw the snow plow driver after the storm was over and 30" later. Fortunately, the long driveway had enough of a slope that our six grandchildren under the age of six could sled down the driveway. 3) The home is radiant heat rather than forced air. Understandable in the dry desert climate of Colorado but the house seemed to struggle with maintaining temps at the thermostat levels (thermostats in every room), occasionally 2-3 degrees off setting and slow to adjust. Prop rep and homeowner in great communication working w/the radiant heat issues. House looks like a stunning place for a summer stay. Just be more diligent about preps if a winter stay.

mountain retreat

The house was great. We had a great time sitting on the deck and admiring the view. The hot tub was great. The kitchen was nice, but there could have been more attention paid to the details. We had very little dish washing pods for the dishwasher. There were no garbage bags in the house and my husband had to drive down to town to purchase both of these. There were no tissue boxes in the bathrooms . The kitchen knives were in very bad shape.

Exceptional home

Beautiful interior with lots of space. We had 4 families staying there and never felt crowded. We spent lots of time on the large porch enjoying the mountain views. Highly recommended.

Perfect for everything!

This property is stunning! Our trip consisted of various outings in to town and also just lazy days cooking and hanging by the fire. This house and location gives you all the comforts of your own home with the most spectacular views! Every bed and room was prepared nicely, with plenty of towels and extras for whatever your needs may be. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room for a big group to cook, eat and hang out together. We had 12 people at one point in our trip and it was perfect for me to cook and still converse with all. The communication with management and also the check in email from owner was nice and easy. Everyone seemed very kind and willing to help with whatever we needed. Management even checked in to make sure we were ok and enjoying everything. All things for to for check in and check out were very easy to follow as well. Hoping to one day soon bring my entire family back for a stay! Thank you again so much for everything!

Breck Skiing

The property was just right for my family to gather, fix meals, relax and venture into the Breckinridge to enjoy various winter activities, shopping and dining. The view of the area was spectacular.

It was the most amazing place. We arrived to be greeted by a beautiful home with amazing views. We had our 40th Anniversary with our whole family. We made wonderful memories her. Melissa was the perfect host! Her kindness was excellent. She went above and beyond to welcome our family with a great welcome basket. We highly recommend staying here! You family will be happy.
