Downtown Hickory Lounge

We live in downtown hickory. You will have your own private space located in the back of our home. It is a studio with a kitchenette. No stove/oven and only a beverage fridge. Adjoining your studio is an un air conditioned game room with pool table/ping pong and workout equipment. We have an outdoor shared space with a grill and fireplace.
We also have a super cute golden doodle named Louis, who might be inside the fenced area. Please keep all fence gates locked.

Great place to stay close to everything in Hickory. Wife and adult son stayed here for a wedding downtown. Host is very receptive and has thought of everything anyone would need to be comfortable. 10 out of 10!

The space was just what we needed. We walked multiple times to Downtown and went on a run right from the door. Across the street from the Art and science center of some kind as well. It was clean, and had everything we needed. Purified Brita water pitcher and iron and ironing board! It was well laid out and an overall great experience!

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The lounge is absolutely gorgeous thoughtfully designed with stylish decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made it a perfect place to unwind. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, always friendly, attentive, and accommodating. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. This beautiful studio is perfect! Kim has literally thought of everything. From pool towels to makeup towels, Brita filtered water in the refrigerator, ice machine filled with ice - just so thoughtful for travelers. It’s in the downtown area which is beautiful and quaint; tree lined streets and gorgeous historic homes. I highly recommend!

Such an oasis!

Second stay here, and it's always perfect! Close proximity to the spa at rock barn and a few great resteraunts. Perfect for a mom/friend/ girls get away!

Perfect Cozy Spot

The lounge exceeded our expectations! Kim is an amazing host, very accommodating and wonderful communication. The rental was adorable with special touches everywhere. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, even had a ice machine! We were able to take a nice stroll to town from the location. Im looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful and comfortable space

Beautiful property! The furnishings and decor are fun! The king size bed is incredibly comfortable! The space had everything we needed and was in a convenient location. The owners are friendly,and communicate well.

Awesome Spot with great location

Had an Amazing stay. House was extremely clean and had all the little details and things needed to make the stay amazing! Bed is beyond comfortable and pillows were perfect. Will definitely stay here again!

Real oasis

Lovely space, cool decor and very relaxing. The pool is stunning! I wish I had known about this place when my brother was in Frye Medical recently; so much nicer than staying in the chain hotels off the highway.

Amazing Weekend, Amazing Host

My wife and I came to visit hickory for our 1 year anniversary. This was an amazing get away. The property was in a wonderful location. About a 6-8 min walk to all the shops downtown. So we really never had to drive our car and worry about parking. The property was also very clean and well kept. Kim was super responsive and very polite. Would def stay here again when we are back in hickory!

Great spot in downtown Hickory

Everything about the actual room was exactly as described and the location was great. Easy walk to downtown and Kim was a great host. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Property!

We loved this little place! The landscaping is beautiful and the room was very well stocked and perfectly decorated. We were with a large group that stayed in other rentals and hotels nearby, and our place was by far the best one in the area for about the same cost. The pool table was an added bonus for my kids!

Everything was as pictured, SO gorgeous! Perfect little spot for a girls weekend, a short drive to the spa at rockbarn which was amazing! The bed was so comfy & the pool was beautiful & well kept. Owners kept their distance & were sweet & accomodating. 10 out of 10 stay & will likely be back!

Perfect location and so cute!

Kim and Peter are wonderful hosts! Kim kept in touch letting us know we could use the pool and have the room stocked with pool towels and sunscreen. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend rental!! We will recommend to friends and family for sure!

Perfect Retreat

We were in town for a wedding, and we found this beautifully decorated studio apartment in historic downtown Hickory. It was the perfect little get away and very clean! We also got to use the pool table room and the private pool area. Everything we needed was right there and we could walk to restaurants and shopping! 😃

High design little studio

The studio is well-sized. Created from a garage, it is now a stunning pool house. The design is trendy and cool. It had everything we needed, plus extra thoughts from the owner, like little add-ons like suntan lotion for the pool. It is quietly placed behind a grand home in downtown Hickory. If you are in good shape, you can walk to downtown. A short car ride led us to some great restaurants, and just outside of town is Lake Hickory. The owner was very responsive. One little hiccup I had was the use of feathered pillows; I am highly allergic and should have realized right away. BYOP if you cannot use feathered pillows.
