Liked it so much the first time, we had to come back. This time it was truly a winter wonderland with the snow storm but Scott was great about snow removal! Enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the snowed in cabin life. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin

Wanted to get away for a couple days for our anniversary and this was the perfect cabin for us. Well maintained, super clean and very cozy. Great communication with owner and would definitely come back again.

This VRBO is so cute!! Was very clean with a lot to offer. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and cute cozy house. These hosts are great! We will definitely be back!!

Great anniversary weekend.

This place was by far one of the best VRBOs we've stayed in. Exceptionally clean and had the best stocked kitchen I've ever had. Every type of cooking utensil, pots pans, plates ect that I needed.Hosts were great! We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and were surprised with a bottle of wine!Highly recommend.

Amazing place

A perfect weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and adorable. It was perfect! We were celebrating my husbands birthday and retirement. Close to Galena and Dubuque, for restaurants and hiking.

When we arrived Friday evening, the cabin was cold. We had to keep our jackets on for the first two hours. Then, sometime around 1-2am, we both woke up due to being too hot. Thank you for the extra effort placing flowers in the cabin.FYI. The cupboard next to the fridge is lose

Warm, cozy stay

We had a wonderful stay for a weekend. The cabin is well equipped with plenty of towels, blankets, and all of the kitchen essentials from dishes and spices to coffee and utensils. The cabin had multiple heaters so we kept very warm. There were also several fans and an in wall air conditioner so you are sure to have plenty of ways to keep you comfortable all year round. The location was ideal - close enough to Galena and Dubuque for activities but far enough to feel quiet contentment away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this cabin for a couples get away. Would book again.

Weekend Getaway

I wanted to plan a weekend getaway for my boyfriend when I stumbled upon this cabin. It is tucked away off the main road but everything is within close driving distance. We loved the atmosphere and esthetics of the cabin and the hosts thought of everything down to the little details! I highly recommend this place and woukd definitely stay here again! Thank you for letting us stay at your cute little cabin!!

Chic Cozy Cabin

This was an absolute GEM of a cabin! It exceeded our expectations in many ways. The property was stunning and the cabin was so warm and welcoming. The finishes were top quality and the attention to detail was remarkable. We really appreciated how Scott went above and beyond stocking the cabin with everything you could possibly need. We were celebrating our 42nd Wedding anniversary and our first time in Galena. We would definitely recommend this cabin and look forward to staying here again when we visit during the winter, spring and summer seasons. Thanks for making our visit such a memorable experience

Amazing Cozy Getaway ** Highly Recommend!!!

We absolutely loved the Crooked Creek Cabin... suited our style of rustic, off the beaten path, but still close to things! The Hosts have thought of everything and offer so many amenities and things you might need... so grateful we found this place!! Very easy to find, check in and out. The bed is super comfy & loved being able to utilize the washer & dryer. We stayed for 3 nights, will definitely recommend to others & hope to stay again!!! Thanks so much for being a class act!!!

Amazing Gem for a Couple’s Getaway

We were amazed at the property. It was incredibly well done, very cute, and had a ton of amenities. We arrived to a bottle of wine that was delightful. The kitchen had all kinds of staples and even a large variety of spices. Even the bathroom had ibuprofen and bandaids. The bed was like sleeping a cloud, it was the best bed we’ve ever had in a VRBO. The front porch was beautiful, and every morning we started the day with coffee and a light breakfast on the porch, enjoying the beautiful weather and nature. The property is also Centrally located to several decent sized cities, about 15 minutes from Galena with vineyards, a distillery, and a very cute downtown shopping area, 15 minutes from Dubuque (with an amazing farmers market and bars and restaurants), and from Plattevillle with a bunch of restaurants. We will be recommending this to our friends and will be back ourselves.
