It was nice being close to the Main Street shopping. We stayed at a time that had 6” of snow. It would have been good to have had the main entrance shoveled and salted or provided the tools to perform the task.

We had a wonderful stay. Two couples who came down to the area to explore the wineries. Home was very warm and welcoming. We also enjoyed the outside patio and fireplace. It happened to be the same weekend as Octoberfest so appreciated being a short drive from the Main Street area. Lovely home!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and won’t be the last! Great neighborhood - quiet and has a great area to get our daily walk in. Unbelievably comfortable beds and has everything you need for a great little getaway!

House was adorable inside. Really felt like a home. Parking held two cars on pad in back of home.Second railing on stairs in back of house would probably be safer for older individuals.We did have plumbing issues that were dealt with in 12 hours of reporting.

Week stay!

Amazing! So clean. Had everything we could need! Even a straightener when I forgot mine! I felt safe with my toddler being there and didn’t feel like I had to be on high alert. The owner was so nice and friendly! We met her husband due to him making repairs at the house as we arrived. So kind! I really appreciate the decor! It was gorgeous! The tv had all the stuff for us to watch when we were breaking from sight seeing.

This cozy house was the perfect home base for our visit to St. Charles and St. Louis. The house is extremely clean with a very comfortable bed in the main bedroom. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets and kitchen items are provided. The large private driveway for parking is a great bonus. Communication with our host was excellent, she responded right away when we needed to contact her. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

The place is correctly advertised. It was an excellent choice considering our vision of our trip to the area - and being on the NW suburbs got us closer to home by 30 minutes. The house and yard was clean. A lot of television channel options were available. Plenty of space for two people to both spend time together and also do their own thing. We could have easily had a third - one our kids now as adults or when they were young. You get the noise of the street traffic from Highway 94 but nothing extraordinary. And didn't hear a beep from any of the neighbors all three weekend nights. Walking distance from Subway and a few things and an easy drive to St. Charles sites and St. Louis. The communication with the owner was always prompt and friendly. No concerns at all - you can trust the previous reviews. Would stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

Wonderful experience

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was perfect! Good driving distance to grocery needs and close to Main Street area that is adorable! We will be back in the area in a few months and have already rebooked this spot to stay again!

We are inspired to support our community of Saint Charles and hope the community and travelers can all enjoy the city by staying in our VRBO home.
