190 St. Philip Street is a traditional Charleston home located just one block to King Street. The main floor has an open living room adjoining the bright kitchen complete with open shelving and a custom banquet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with king beds, each with their own ensuite. Just off the front porch is an open patio for relaxing after a full day of shopping and exploring downtown Charleston. 190 St. Philip Street is in a wonderful location just steps to Browns Court Bakery, The Warehouse, and multiple local boutique shops. Within a thirty-minute walk of 190 St. Philip Street you can visit the Battery, Charleston's Open-Air Market, King Street's finest shops, and dine in any of downtowns astounding restaurants. Great location for walking to restaurants and shops! Tiny Tassle and Happy Southerner, right around the corner from house, were great finds!So roomy and comfortable accommodations, with two king bedroom suites. Very retro decorations - loved the old fashioned refrigerator and toaster. Kitchen could use a baking pan and cookie sheet for baking. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. One of our guests was handicapped, so going up the steps was a little difficult. We weren’t aware that the bedrooms would be upstairs.

We had a wonderful time at your home! A perfect location to the Food & Wine Festival where it was just a short walk. Would definitely recommend and perfect for 2 couples! The space accommodates more but we liked the privacy of not having someone in the living area. Very nice and we will be back!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this property. It's small but perfectly formed. Be aware there were lots of mosquitoes around the seating area so be prepared.

Wonderful Getaway

My husband, 2 teenagers and I stayed at this VRBO for a long weekend and we loved it! The location is perfect…close to the shops and restaurants on King St. also close to bagel and coffee shops for easy breakfast! The home was very clean and well appointed.

Absolutely perfect location aside from an apartment complex they are building a block and half down St. Philip St. that would wake us up at 7:30 AM, but that was OK we wanted to maximize our time here.Lovely furnishings, well stocked kitchen, beds super soft and comfortable!! Hopfully the light in the blue bathroom will be replaced. I did not asked for this to be fixed during our stay, but the bathroom was on the dark side. The rain shower head was over toward the wall - I could not get it to move to the center, but I didn't try too hard to fix it either. This location is so perfect to King Street shopping and restaurants. There are also lots a wonderful restaurants right in the Cannonborough and Elliotborough areas as well.
