Romantic getaway on the Caribbean with private plunge pool.

Sol Patch Jeremi is a brand new, spacious duplex in a gated community at the west end of Curacao. The house faces west on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea for fabulous sunsets. Watch frigate birds following local fishermen and keep an eye out for leaping tuna, dolphins and sometimes whales. You'll have your own private plunge pool for sunning or stargazing, wide wooden stairs down into the water for snorkeling and you can walk to our local beach, Playa Jeremi, in minutes. The house has two mirror image apartments, each completely private. Because this is a new community there may be construction happening, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Perfect seaside escape – already dreaming of coming back!We had an amazing stay at this property. The house is perfectly located in a quiet area, and the peace and calm were exactly what we were looking for. The highlight for us was the sunset view every evening – absolutely stunning and different every night. Having private access to the sea felt like such a luxury; being able to just wander down for a swim or to sit by the water made the stay feel truly special.Lisa was a fantastic host from start to finish – warm, welcoming, and extremely responsive to all our messages. Communication was easy and reassuring, and you can tell she really cares about her guests’ experience.We would happily give this place 5/5 and would not hesitate to come back or recommend it to friends and family.

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing

The place comes as advertised. Sitting on a cliff with ocean access via the steps down to the water and a small dock. If you’re looking for a quiet, private and relaxing time, you’ll have a great stay!

Great outdoor space along the water - we snorkled and swam right infront of the property. Good access to Lagun and Westport areas.

Beautiful spot! Amazing view and outside space

We stayed at Joel and Lisa’s duplex Jan19-Feb 3 2025. The property was just as described with a well equipped kitchen and connected sleeping area. Large closet and bathroom with shower. The hosts were easy to communicate with and Joel has excellent suggestions for where to hike and eat.Definitely order takeout from Sylvie’s.Swimming/snorkelling in the ocean down a few steps and lots of quieter beaches nearby.You will need a car rental. Eat at ShelterRock, take in the view at Forti Restaurant (and dive off the cliff if you dare; we did not). Isabelle’s Off the Beach has the most amazing Expresso martini.Great spot for a couple that doesn’t want to be in the crowds!

This is our second time staying with Lisa And Joel. Sol patch is a little piece of heaven. Joel and Lisa are absolutely fantastic. Next time we travel to Curacao we will definitely be staying here.

Wonderful Stay in Curaçao

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Curaçao. This property is absolutely beautiful! We loved the infinity pool and stairs down to the ocean. We did some of the best snorkeling right in front of our place. Saw sea turtles and Tuna fishing in the mornings. The property was equipped with everything we needed. Lisa and the property manager Henry h were wonderful also. The area was fantastic with close proximity to tons of beaches. We would absolutely stay here again when we come back to visit the beautiful island.

Wow just wow

Ya ever wonder when you look at a vacation rental if it will be as good as the pictures? Well this one is. I cannot stress how incredible this place is. Communication was very good and informative with what to expect before we even arrived. The property manager Hynrich was the absolute best and was quick to respond if any issues arose. The pool and the view are 10/10. Most of the time we had to force ourselves to leave our place to go adventure and see the rest of Curacao.

A little slice of Paradise

Perfect spot for a couple to stay near countless beaches and away from the big city. But not too far away, easy day trip to Willemsted if you are so inclinded. The view is to die for, pics are dead on. Stairs/walkway to/from the pool deck into sea with the a "perch" area including 2 chairs for the best sunset experience on the island. Kitchen is well stocked, has everything you need for your stay. Bed was comfy. AC worked great (thank god). Safe gated community. Area is easy to get around with a rental car. Quick swim/walk to local beach. Doable swim/snorkle/walk to another beach a mile or so away. Some of the best swimming/snorkeling on the island is right in your back yard, just amazing. Many local restaurants in the area to try. And countless beaches scattered all over. Owner and property manager where responsive and answered any questions we had. Hated to leave and will definitely be back.

Peaceful getaway.

Wonderful ocean view and access to ocean was absolutely amazing!!! Location was quiet but close to wonderful beaches and restaurants! Sunset was a picturesque beauty every night. Just a few items to mention, minimal dated furniture for example kitchen has one chair and one stool only . Couch and outside seating needs upgrades. Had to supply additional utensils. Coffee maker Outstanding property manager was very accommodating when asked for a dryer and blanket.

Fabulous escape

The property and location makes for a very relaxed, special stay. Plunge pool, deck and specially placed stairs and chairs make for fabulous ocean and sunset watching. Lisa and Joel were welcoming hosts, and quickly replied to any questions or concerns. We’ll return.

Beautiful home away from home

Lisa and Joel are excellent hosts and their place is beautiful. The plunge pool was my favorite feature. The kitchen is equipped with all of the essentials. The bathroom is spacious. The outdoor space including hammock and a wonderful breeze is where we spent most of our time. The view is worth the money! The location was perfect for us. We enjoy staying at this quiet end of the island. Spent time at beaches (get a massage!)and scuba diving. We did take a drive one day and enjoyed an ATV tour. We love Curacao. We have been there 6 times. When we have the opportunity to return, this is the place I would want to go!!

Wonderful place and host

This duplex property was a great place for our visit to Curacao. A little drive to get to Willemstad but close to the best beaches on the island. Property is nicely furnished with essentials for a short or long stay. Host Joel was great and very responsive to our questions and requests.

Breathtaking view!

Our stay was nearly perfect. We loved everything about it, the pool was nice as well as the direct access to the ocean . Perfect after a long day to relax to the sound of the waves. The area has beautiful beaches, the nature, national parks and the west in general are perfect for adventures. The hosts Lisa and Joel are heartwarming helpful and have all the suggestions you need. The only „problem“ we had was the mosquitos. Although there are mosquito-proof doors/windows we had a lot of them inside and sitting on the porch in the evening/morning wasn’t possible at all - even with an additional mosquito protection. Overall we loved our stay and can recommend it!

I may have shed a few tears as the week came to an end.

If you love the water, this place is for you! Absolutely breathtaking views of crystal clear water, a diver/snorkelers paradise. The house itself was great. Warm and inviting with an open floor plan made for a relaxing week. The location was just what we were looking for. Situated far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the south side of the island, and near lots of natural attractions. The hosts, Joel and Lisa were great. Very accommodating. I highly recommend!

The view was over the top. It was very secluded and the privacy was top notch. It was a nice area since most beautiful beaches and local restos was nearby. We can also swim on the coastal beach whch was also another plus. A must to stay and will definitely be back.

Beautiful stay on Curacao!

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay! A plunge pool for relaxing or, a slightly more adventurous climb to the water for a swim in the sea. If you manage to drag yourselves indoors, the home is open, light, and lovely. Very nearby you find beautiful swimming and snorkeling spots. Lisa, Joel, and Hynrich are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and make you feel right at home on Curacao.

Great Stay

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location and the place is very well kept. Joel and Lisa were great to deal with and very helpful with day trip ideas and spots to eat. Would recommend this place to any couple looking for a scenic and peaceful getaway.

Joel and I are international school teachers. We began our overseas careers 25 years ago in Curacao. After a life time of travel and exploration with our three children we've returned to our beloved island. We love helping people find all of the hidden treasures at the west end and we'll spend as much time with you as you'd like - helping you plan your adventures or just sharing a glass of wine at sunset. We live just down the street in the village of Lagun so we're available every day after school and on weekends for any help you might need.

Our apartments are full of unique furniture; some we made, some we found in second hand shops and restored. The art is locally made; some by us and some by friends and family. None of our four apartments are the same. We pride ourselves on creating a home away from home in both the design of the space and in the special help and attention we give to all of our guests. Concerned about privacy? Don't be. We have gone to lengths to make sure that you have all of the privacy you want. That said, some of our guests do leave the island having made new friends with their neighbors and hosts.
