The Blessing - A Cute and Cozy Christian Country Retreat!

The Blessing is a super cute, safe, and cozy 1200 square foot basement apartment in the country just outside of Benzonia, Michigan. It features a private entrance, high-speed Wi-Fi, a living room with a coffee table that easily converts to a workstation, electric fireplace, large TV with DirecTV and streaming, full kitchen, dining table, bedroom with queen size bed, a queen size sleeper sofa, full bathroom, and a washer and dryer.


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The property is in a country setting, a couple miles outside of Benzonia, Michigan, which is a fairly typical small town in northern Michigan. There are grocery stores, a hardware store, various other stores, restaurants, churches, banks, and a U.S. post office in Benzonia. The home is just north of the Betsie River and is very close to the Homestead Dam on the Betsie River, which is famous for salmon fishing. Crystal Mountain and Crystal Lake are both also nearby.


THE SPACE:

This is a fully-furnished and fully-finished basement apartment. The property owners (a very nice older couple that serve in full-time local Christian ministry) live above the apartment on the first floor of the home. The apartment has a private entrance, but there is also a locked door that leads to the upstairs of the home. There are some Christian books, movies, and artwork in the apartment.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) GENERAL: Our accommodations have been dedicated to God and belong to Him. It is our goal to honor Him with our lives and with all that He has given us. This is why our rental apartment is called “The Blessing”. There are a few Christian books and DVD’s on the shelves and a couple of Christian pictures on the wall. If you are comfortable with this, then we welcome you.

2) PET POLICY: Absolutely no pets of any kind are permitted at the apartment! (Please do not bother asking.)

3) NO AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the property does NOT have air conditioning. As such, it may get warm in the house during the summer if it is warm outside.

4) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

5) EARLY CHECK-IN: Early check-ins are strictly prohibited.

6) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are also strictly prohibited.
