Bienvenidos al Hillside Breeze, where relaxation is easy, the view is stunning and the breeze is refreshing! Enjoy ocean views, 3 BRs, 3 bathrooms, 2 floors, balcony, huge rooftop plus onsite pool & tennis. Perfect for family vacations or working from home. Near beaches, restaurants, grocery & attractions. Beach is 1 mile walk or 2 min. drive (behind Rio Mar Beach Club). Next to Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort, Spa & Golf, 30 min from SJU airport & 10 min from El Yunque & the Luquillo Kiosks.

Our condo is a two-story penthouse with lots of room for families and friends to relax. It's a 2-flight walkup (no elevators), but once you get there, it's worth the effort. The views and the breeze are stunning. The condo has modern appliances and decor and 24/7 security.

Hillside Breeze is located on the north east side of Puerto Rico in Rio Grande. Rio Grande is home to El Yunque National Rainforest, the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. forest system. Conveniently located NEXT TO the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Golf, Spa & Beach Resort. We are NOT part of the Wyndham resort. We're just 10 minutes from the Luquillo beaches and Kiosks where you can find all the favorite Puerto Rican foods and drinks. Many restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and beaches within 10 minutes.

Great apartment, great communication with host. The roof patio is a highlight! It's not part of Grand Rio Mar, but guests should know that the Rio Mar beach is public - you'll just have to drive to it and pay for parking at the resort. Very convenient for El Yunque and bioluminescent bay tours.

Girls Trip

Overall location was amazing. Beautiful beach views. The rooftop was absolutely breathtaking 10/10 I definitely recommend. We enjoyed our stay in Rio Grande. I recommend booking excursions prior to arriving to Puerto Rico Ubers can be pricey. Power did go out completely our last night which was a bit scary but there were flashlights throughout the unit. I wasn’t aware that Puerto Rico lose power frequently but I can’t wait to return back & stay here again. Thank you!

Great Place!

Our stay at this property was pretty much perfect. The unit is very spacious, clean, and very good location for everything we wanted to do. It’s a great location in general, but we wanted to be a little bit east so we could access the ferry to Vieques, which was super easy. The check in process was easy and the responsiveness and communication with the host throughout the week was great. I’d highly recommend staying here if you visit Puerto Rico, don’t beat yourself up looking at tons of options. This place is awesome. Slept 5 people with absolutely no issues. I want to come back to PR soon and I will definitely book here again.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The leak in the master bathroom caused flying bug to come through the drain, enhance our 4 star rating on cleanliness. The rest of the property was clean.

Great location, beautiful views

We really enjoyed our stay at Hillside Breeze. Sherry was always quick to respond to any questions and she was also very accommodating. They were more than generous with supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels etc), so much so that we really didn’t need to purchase anything extra for our stay. Location was super convenient for our needs. El Yunque is right down the road. Luquillo beach and kiosks a quick drive. San Juan is about 25 minutes away. Rooftop access was very nice, especially on those breezy nights. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. Hope to come back soon (maybe the hammock will be replaced by then? 😀)

Perfect Getaway

Was very much in need of a vacation and this location made the perfect getaway possible. Perfect location, very clean, friendly staff, and the view of the ocean was amazing. Sherry was always so quick with her responses if I had questions and super nice. Would recommend staying here to any and everyone

Fantastic trip

The condo is great, met all our needs, very clean. Would defiantly book again.The air conditioning throughout the condo was a plus, a lot of listings only say in bedrooms. Equipped kitchen, beach towels and chairs made things easy. Only one suggestion, to have a tea kettle. Finding condo and access was very easy. The communication with property manager was great. Several very good bakeries, grocery stores and food places near by. We look forward to coming back next year!

Wonderful place to stay!

The apartment is spacious and clean and well stocked. We had a family of 5 with one teenager and everyone enjoyed it. We had nice mornings and evenings on the roof deck. host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Short drive to rainforest, beaches, a cozy place to come home and crash after a fun day of adventure.

Great stay

My husband and I came to PR to celebrate our birthdays, Hillside Breeze was a great location, close to food, beaches stores and the neighborhood felt safe. The condominium was very spacious, very clean and well stocked with things you need at a home away from home. Sherry was a great host, she was informative m, communicated well and made sure to accommodate the needs we asked of her. When we come back again I’d definitely stay here again.

An absolute Bang for your Buck

The Penthouse was better than advertised! Quiet, private neighborhood. Mildly secluded, but not far from life on the island. Amazing view. The Hostess was very patient and responsive, which made a huge difference at times when we needed a little extra help. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful place, great location

The unit was clean and had all the items needed, from kitchen utensils, linen, towels, and extras. The rooftop balcony is amazing and was my and my husband's favorite place to hang out, drink wine, or sip coffee while the kids did their own thing inside. The place is conveniently located 30 minutes or less from, kayaking in the bioluminescence, to multiple beaches, the rain forest, kioskos restaurants, San Juan, and Ceiba for the ferry across to Vieques and Culebra. We loved it, and the teenagers loved the accommodation as much as my husband and I. Sherry was a great host, very responsive to my questions both before we arrived and while we were there. If we return to Peurto Rick again we will definitely stay here.

Amazing stay with the view

We were a group of 6 and the place was just perfect for all our needs! Very clean, all items new, kitchen well-stocked, super-powerfull A/C! The rooftop area is very relaxing with breathtaking views and a full bath!
