Looking for a summer or winter retreat for you and your family to spend quality time on Lake George? Trailhead Lodge is a private beautiful 4-acre property that will allow you and your family to rejuvenate, renew and reconnect..... to make wonderful memories with your family and friends year after year.

This large Adirondack log cabin will provide you with all the comforts you are accustomed to while bringing all the hiking, boating, swimming, skiing, and star-filled nights of the Adirondacks to your back porch. This property is located only minutes from the quaint village of Bolton Landing, dining, shopping, and outdoor experiences. Are you a golfer? The posh Sagamore golf course adjoins the back of our 4-acre property as well. And Trailhead Lodge is only a short drive down the hill to enjoy the local beaches and amazing clear blue water of Lake George.

At Trailhead Lodge you and your family will be relaxing on a private 4-acre wooded lot. Your mornings can begin with an amazing ADK mountain view as you drink your coffee on our back deck and catch up on the news with our high-speed wifi. Family evenings can be spent playing cards around the poker table or enjoying ping-pong or air hockey in our 1500 sqft walk-out lower level. Your evening will be complete while spending some time in the sauna or around the campfire relaxing in your Adirondack chairs and roasting marshmallows over the open solo stove fire pit out back.

If you're looking for a private log cabin to comfortably sleep 8 people with a large master en-suite / newly renovated bath with heated floors, a fun getaway with 4 full cable access TVs, a sauna, games, ping-pong, and air-hockey in the 1500 sqft lower level, 3-full newly renovated bathrooms, a full-size kitchen (seating for 14), an office with the most incredible Adirondack mountain view, an outdoor grill to satisfy your culinary talents, hiking trails throughout the 4-acre lot, then contact us about Trailhead Lodge. We are just minutes from downtown Bolton Landing, the Northway (I-87), the Trailhead to Cat and Thomas Mountains, and Lake George.

Loved this property! Close to Lake George and Bolton Landing but on a secluded street that made us feel like we were in the middle of the woods. Inside had tons on space to spread out, a well stocked kitchen, and an outdoor fire pit. Super clean and very homey. We will definitely stay here again.

The lodge was very very nice. It was super clean, well furnished and comfortable. It basically lacked nothing that we would have wanted or needed. Several tvs, a ping pong table, a hockey game table, outdoor fire pit, etc. Really very satisfied with our experience there, was great. Also was in a location that was convenient to the town and lake, as well as several nice hiking trails.

From the moment we walked in until we locked the door behind us, everything was 10/10. The house was immaculate, decorated beautifully, with attention to detail. It accommodated 8 adults perfectly. There was always a space to socialize or a quiet corner to read a book. The view is amazing. A quick drive to Downtown Bolton Landing, or a bit further to Lake George. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen was more equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely stay again if we head to that area.

Trailhead Lodge was one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in. Amy has created a warm and inviting home, so many varied spaces for playing, reading, working, eating and gathering.The attention to detail throughout the cabin is impeccable! The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals along with plenty of serve wear. Amy was super attentive to any questions and also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and nearby activities. Our one regret is that we did not stay longer!

Amazing stay in beautiful Bolton Landing home!

Our stay could not have been more pleasant. The home was immaculate and our host, Amy has thought of everything! Her considerateness and attention to detail can be found throughout the cozy home. Our teens enjoyed playing ping pong and poker in the basement, while my husband and I enjoyed the beautiful mountains views off of the back deck. It was an absolutely perfect stay!

Five Day Get-a-Way @ Trailhead Lodge

Quiet, serene log cabin just outside of Bolton's Landing and a short ride to Lake George and Saratoga Springs. Plenty activities for all ages or just a lovely location to sit on the deck overlooking the mountains and watch the deer.play. The lodge has everything you need from kitchen accessories, game room, and small amenities, giving it a 5 star resort feel. Amy and Andy were very welcoming and quickly answered all our questions, recommending various restaurants and activities. The cabin is beautifully decorated, and although we stayed in July, it would be an excellent for those looking for a winter vacation spot, a must for outdoor enthusiasts.

Beautiful Adirondack Cabin

Our family had a wonderful long weekend stay at the Trailhead Lodge. We've been to the area many times and this was the nicest property we've ever booked. The hosts are very responsive, helpful and professional. Plenty of information is provided in advance to help plan and the check-in process is very easy. The home itself is wonderful. Super clean, well decorated, and very roomy. There are no "sketchy" bedrooms unlike some other properties we have stayed in, even the basement bunk room is nice and was thoroughly enjoyed by our young son. The home is so nice that we didn't mind a rainy day - there are plenty of fun games to pass the time. We can't wait to return!

Simply glorious

On a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being the best, we give the Trailhead Lodge a 12! Everything from the cleanliness, layout, amenities, decor, landscaping to location were all outstanding. All of our expectations were far exceeded. And, Bolton Landing had everything we wanted to do to include hiking, horseback riding, boating, swimming, jumping off cliffs into Lake George, shopping, and eating out. The host, Amy, was always available via text or phone if we needed anything and gave great recommendations on restaurants, shops, etc. We recommend Trailhead Lodge to anyone who is interested in having a great experience in the ADK!

Rest and fun at Trailhead Lodge at Lake George/ADKs

We were previewing this great property for a summer stay with our extended family. We had a wonderful time - the lodge is clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and user friendly. I loved the room we chose for its cozy feel and crisp linens - I had a wonderful sleep as a bonus. I guess I thought a mountain cabin would skimp On the bedding! Not this one- was like a 4 star hotel. The views are incredible. The property welcomes exploration, cross country skiing, hiking, snowshoeing - and you can easily imagine the fun on the trails and nearby lake and golf courses for the summer. Trailhead Lodge is welcoming and fun and all thumbs up. The process/owner were easy and straight forward. We can’t wait to come back with the family in June ! Only thing I would correct is on us- remember to bring hiking shoes and layers for taking advantage of the trails and beautiful grounds

Winter Magical Cabin

No detail is missed and then some! Amy is a star hostess and absolutely one of the best I have ever worked with when renting a home. My husband and three boys (13,9, and 5) had plenty of space to move around but also many cozy areas to gather and make great family memories! We were able to ring in the New Year there and hope to do so again in the future. Waking up to the incredible Mountain View with a cup of coffee each day and then watching the changing colors of the landscape through the day is a vision I will never forget. The home is more spacious than in pics and one of the cleanest homes we have every rented. The owner leaves little treasures for convenience in every nook and cranny that make you feel so welcome and at home. Just bring your favorite foods, drinks and snacks and the rest is pretty much covered here! Again, we cannot wait to revisit the Trailhead Lodge. Only negative was having to go home and not having enough time during our three night stay to do it all!

We have been visiting and enjoying Bolton Landing for over 20 years. Each summer, and most holidays, we have found ourselves being drawn to the water and mountains in the ADK! We chose this property specifically because it offers everything that our family enjoys here in the Adirondacks. Trailhead Lodge is a unique property...it's truly a home away from home. We hope that you can find peace and tranquility here and make it feel like a home for your family as well.

We love that The Trailhead Lodge is so close to the lake in the summer (some of our favorite activities are water skiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, tubing, and jet skiing), and it's also very close to skiing in the winter (some of our best memories have been on the slopes of Gore's snow-covered mountains), it's on the same road as the trailheads (Cat and Thomas, less than one mile down Valley Woods Road), it's just minutes from our mountain-fed rivers (we love white water kayaking, rafting, and fly fishing), and finally, it's a stone's throw from our quaint little town, Bolton Landing (who doesn't love shopping for gifts at the Indian Tepee and Trees)! We love supporting the local small businesses as well.

We hope that the beauty and uniqueness of Trailhead Lodge will provide a place where you will come back year after year to re-ground, reflect, and relax....to bring your family together the way it has brought ours together over the past 20 years.
